“Place is quite nice. My friends enjoyed their meals very much. It is a bit tough finding vegetarian dishes here and I wish the restaurant kept at least one or two large vegetarian dishes that arent pork/beef broth based. However, this may already be known to people before they come in, so shouldn't detract from the review. Ambiance and service were great!“

“This is my third time coming here. And once again Gayeon did not disappoint!! We had the japchae, which was AMAZING as an appetizer. For our entrees we did kimchi lobster, kimchi wagyu and the braised short rib, which were all outstanding as well! For dessert we had vanilla ice cream that was prepared on site by the in house pastry chef! Overall, 5 out of 5! Will be back again!!“

“Situated in a tranquil neighborhood near Fort Lee, NJ, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that feels like a hidden gem. The beef short ribs were a standout, cooked to perfection with a tenderness that melts in the mouth. The sauce and seasoning complemented the meat impeccably, adding depth without overpowering the natural flavors. Equally impressive were the cold noodles, which brought a refreshing and unique combination of flavors and textures, making for an ideal contrast to the rich short ribs. Visiting on a quiet Sunday afternoon, I found the atmosphere serene and the service attentive and courteous. This is a spot well worth a visit for those seeking exceptional Korean cuisine in a relaxed setting.“

“This was a pretty nice spot for a quick dinner of authentic Korean food. The atmosphere is very homey and the service is friendly. The options are a bit limited and several things on the menu weren't available when we went, but the noodles we did have were pretty good“

“The BEST Korean BBQ I have ever had. We got the beef set small for two. It was so delicious and big portion that we can’t finish. The meat is so fresh and well cooked. The sauce are so good and the varied side dishes are amazing. Amy helped us with everything - cooked the meat, bring extra dishes when we finished - we got most dishes refilled b/c they are just so good. Amy also showed us different ways of having the meat.“

“Jangkalguksu was delicious. The moderately spicy and moderately rich taste of the soybean paste soup went well with the chewy noodles. The soup would have been delicious even when eaten with rice. I didn't add rice because I thought I would be too full. To be strict, I was a little disappointed that jalapenos were used instead of Cheongyang peppers because of the greenish smell of jalapenos, but considering that it is not easy to find Cheongyang peppers here and that jalapenos are an excellent ingredient for adding spiciness, I can fully understand it. It was part.“

“Fabulous place to eat! It’s been a place that hasn’t changed in all these years and the service is always top notch here!“

“Cho Dang House does not offer “Korean BBQ.” Instead, it focuses on stews and soups that feature meat or fish as part of the dish rather than the main attraction. It felt like I was at somebody's mother's house, where meals are made using the same ingredients that mothers have used and perfected as a dish over years of cooking for their families, seasoned beautifully, and with a lot of love. You can tell by the people eating that this was their go-to spot. The restaurant's intimate setting (read small) is calm and relaxed. My colleague and I had a wonderful experience.“

“Really good dumplings! A lot of places leave me sick after eating dumplings. Especially store bought frozen ones. These are both amazing in quality and taste. I love their shrimp and kimchi pork dumplings. I need to try the rest. You can buy them freshly steamed or frozen.“

“The food was great. We got the jaeyook bokkeum, the sullungtang, and the haejang ramen. All 3 were great. My white bf (I’m korean) loved the dishes as well and found that they weren’t too spicy. Prices were also fair for the amount of food (especially meat) they gave.“

“I met a friend for breakfast and submitted two menu items for dinner.
The food tasted better than I expected, but while I was eating the soup I ordered, I felt a bit uncomfortable feeling the thin sand chewing on the rice.
I was halfway through eating it because I couldn't eat it anymore so I threw it away.
I enjoyed the dogani soup and beef stew, but while eating the soup, I felt the crunchy feeling of sand that I felt from the siraegi...
Ha... it was really bad.ㅠㅠ
I think it would be a good idea to wash the rice cooker more thoroughly.“

“This place has some of the most delicious kimbaps in the area. Very good, fresh and filling. Prices were decent as well! We got a bunch of kimbap to go and it did not disappoint. We tried the regular tuna, wasabi tuna, the spicy tuna and the shrimp tempura and everything was yum. I wished they marked on the container what each kimbap was since we got so many. Also tried the spicy ddukboki (spicy rice cake) and that was delicious.Definitely recommended“

“Remarkable food and service from beginning to end. You would need to order your food before seating, like a food court style. We ordered Sulungtang and Dogahnitang and they were legit. You know the broth is authentic when it's starchy and syrupy. The seafood pancake is the best one I had. I strongly recommend this place“

“The place is small, but it's worth the wait. This is one of the places where I always visit when in New Jersey, and they never disappoint. I recommend Dweji Gukbap-put some condiments for flavor to your preference. Everything in the menu is good, actually, so you can't go wrong with anything. Oh, and be careful with your steps!
Parking: Parking lot behind the restaurant.“

“I received it as a submission for lunch today and ate it, and my husband, who can't be that picky about cold noodles in the world, ate it (for reference, it's been 30 minutes since I received it) and raved about it, saying that it was the most delicious naengmyeon he'd ever had in the U.S. and that it would be even better than other places in Korea. ⫬⫬⫬ (They say it tastes like Pyongyang Naengmyeon!) I only reheated and ate the Son Mandu Guk that I couldn't eat earlier in the evening, and they said it tasted crazy so I had to go eat it?⫬⫬⫬⫬⫬ I've lived in the U.S. for 10+ years and go to all kinds of good restaurants, but this is the first time I've seen something like this. I'll leave it behind. Hihi, there was a lot of food. Thank you for giving me so much food, including 5 side dishes. I'll be back soon?? Oh, there were a lot of places to park, right?“
“We are so lucky to have this in the area, and it’s a must visit. This is Korean food but made with the highest quality freshest ingredients.
No cheap chemical flavor enhancers or excessive sodium. It’s what your halmoni would make at home. You will taste vegetables and meat as they’re meant to taste.
And it’s worth every cent: it’s ridiculous to assume Korean food made at a high level with the best ingredients isn’t as deserving of its worth when people will show off they paid $40 for mediocre pasta or sushi or even lifestyle items. What I ate here felt like the cleanest, freshest food I’ve had in months and I just got back from Seoul.
Sandy the owner deserves praise and renown. She’s also incredibly friendly and talks about food with passion and joy.
Anthony Bourdain said he wished he had the Korean restaurants when he was growing up in this area. I wish he could’ve tried the gimbap here.
Pro tip: the table items are meant to be eaten as fresh as possible. It’s not convenience or grocery store food kept in a cooler. There’s a board behind the counter with various fully cooked dishes and meat like bibimbap, or lunch and dinner sets with bulgogi or kalbi, you can order ahead online.“
“Very attentive at the checkout and those who arrange boxes are very friendly and help you quickly find things. Approximately three years ago I had an incident there with children who made racist comments towards me and another Asian girl. I thought those at the store wouldn't do anything but in those days they had police surveillance. ?? Tip: AVOCADOS from this store will almost always be the best. ?“

“Great place and food! My friend and I went to a concert in NY and stopped by Saturday at midnight for a bite before heading home. I saw a lot of good reviews about the seafood pancake, and they weren’t wrong. Fresh, and crispy on the outside! Love! I tried gopchang gui for the first time and it was good too.“

“Some delicious Korean fried chicken and cooked by a robot! The chicken was cooked perfectly, where the outside was super crispy and snaps while the inside was moist and juicy. The staff was super friendly and loved the atmosphere.
Great location as it's within a plaza, so there is plenty of parking.“

“It’s one of the places that’s been around a long time and food has been consistent in my opinion. It’s nice they’re open late till 10pm but kitchen closes 9:30 so make sure to arrive before that and place order otherwise no food for you. I personally like the kalguksu (hand cut noodles) but traditionalists will want the tofu in the boiling clay pot and have rice. Haven’t had anything bad here.“

“I came here to pick up some food and the the lady at the counter was very nice, and good at multitasking haha. the food was alright, tasted a little underseasoned, but once I added some salt/soy sauce to some stuff when I got home, it was great. there's a good variety of food though, and the pickup process itself was fast and efficient.“
“We stopped on our way south at this small strip mall in fort lee nj. The breakfast was perfect. All food made to order. A great selection, and a lot of pastry. Our egg and bagel was tasty. Clean rest rooms plenty of parking right off the main road and fast easy service. We will be back.“

“I’ve been a fan of Gamja TangTang for a while, and I’m so excited about their moving to the new location! The new spot is cozier and more modern. The food is still as incredible as ever. “Healthy treat.
Busy takeout. For a change, dined-in.
Did not dare to order top-of-the-line Special Bokjuk.
Just regular abalone porridge. Nice side dishes - kimchi, soybean paste... all diced nicely.
Royal Tteokbokki in non-spicy version nice with bulgogi & mushroom.
Opens 10am. Wish it was earlier.“

“Nice ambience, good food and mostly responsive staff.I had a tiny piece of plastic in the food which the server apologized for. Rest i5 was a good experience. Their name is different on the board "Soft Tofu" which can create confusion for some. They've parking in front of the restaurant.“

“I visited because I wanted to eat Korean food while on a business trip.
When I entered the restaurant, I felt like I was really in Korea.
They even took orders in Korean... Anyway, it looks like they really put a lot of care into everything from the main dish to the side dishes. I enjoyed it so much.“

“This place serves delicious tangsuyuk. The kanpunggi rice, jjajangmyeon, and jjamppong are also tasty. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend the Chinese bibimbap (a mix of stir-fried pork rice and squid rice).
The staff is very friendly.
Parking: It's unfortunate that parking can be difficult during peak hours.“

“There are so many Korean fried chicken restaurants in the area and it’s very difficult to choose the best one. For me, when it comes to takeout, it’s a no brainer. I trust Don Chicken Fort Lee branch to bang out chickens, scallion sides and rose topoki to my liking. Every single time.
That original boneless fried chicken with the seasoned shaved scallion is a paring created in heaven. The fact that the leftovers taste just about great makes me oblivious of quantity control.
I am not sure about dining in, but this Fort Lee branch of Don Chicken is so reliable with the takeout. Highly recommend.“

“Bada Story is hands down one of the best Korean restaurants in NJ! The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, perfect for a casual night out or a special gathering. The seafood dishes were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean seafood experience, Bada Story is the place to go. Highly recommend!“
“I have a sugary diet, so I make very careful food choices. I can't cook because I'm busy with work, but I use Duri side dish restaurant a lot. I especially like it because the kimbap is delicious and the lunch box is filling and tastes clean. Highly recommended!“

“WOW WOW WOW! I am truly blown away at this place for everything it has to offer. It's tucked away at the end of the plaza, however they have some of the highest quality and most TENDER meat I have ever put in my mouth. We dinner in for the new KBBQ meats they just added to cater to a larger audience and it is truly the most tender meat I have ever gotten at any restaurant, not just for kbbq. They have servers cooking for you, cutting you portion sizes, and serving you. They are the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met while dining at a restaurant even though I don't speak Korean. They friendly encouraged me to try different ways to eat the food to showcase their culture and it was like eating at home with a family friend.I highly highly highly reccomend this place to try. You can see we got the beef short ribs and the nunkkoch galbisal which was INCREDIBLE. The photos look as good as it tastes forsure. I barely needed to dip in sesame oil/ salt because this meat was so tender.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect for kid or catching up with friends over food!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! They have an onramp.“

“This place has both Korean BBQ grill and traditional Korean dishes. Actually it has a surprisingly wide selection of traditional Korean dishes despite the name. Interior is nicer than most others. Service was great (they grill it for you table side). Parking available. Lunch specials too. Very comfortable and delicious spot. I will be back!“
