“I have never had a better pork Katsu in my life! My friend offered to take me here and I had no idea what a treat this was. I had to take one home for my son. When I say the pork was still crispy when I got home 20mins later! Perfection and can't wait to go back!“
“My husband is on a Renal Diet and depressed because of it. We come to Kura, Fort Lee weekly. He can eat like he used to and thanks to the Sashimi options stay in target. It’s fun. And even if our adult daughter’s @empirestateofmurray can not come we bring g back prize balls. It’s a win-win. Shout out to Rossana!“
“I went to this place with my toddler today. Place was very clean and welcoming. Loved the food neat and fresh! My toddler loved udon and shrimp tempura roll. there is various choices for kids too. Not too salty nor sweet. The owner and the server was so nice to both of us and very friendly. Would definitely visit again!“
“Oh. Em. Gee. I'm a sushi lover & I honestly feel like I never really had sushi until dining here. This is an experience on a whole other level. Quality trumps quantity here & it's worth every penny. Every bite melted in my mouth. Ambiance: A+. Service: A+. Food: A++“
“Located in Fort Lee, this is a small sushi restaurant mostly concentrated on takeouts rather than dine in. One must keep a close eye on the place as people can easily zoom past this location without realising. The service was pretty quick and the staff is friendly. The restaurant doesn't have much ambiance as I mentioned they are mostly a takeout place. I ordered a Bergenline roll, which is spicy tuna, rice roll, avocado, and prawn tempura. The sushi was really good and the wasabi too wasn't as spicy as I was expecting it to be.Overall a great local place to grab sushi and these people have reopened after a year, I would really request fellow readers to support this local business and help them grow!“
“We had a wonderful Omakase experience with Chef Masa. He did surprise us with foods that were entirely new to us (like Sea Urchins). All the fish served were sourced from Japan and tasted like nothing we had before. The place was really hard to find because it was late evening and their front entrance is on a by-lane next to the back entrance of Kiky Jewelers.“
“This mom-and-pop hole in the wall sushi joint isn't aiming for Nobu, and that's part of its charm. With top-notch fish quality and surprisingly generous portion sizes, it's a unique experience. The large order, a feast for 5-6 adults, comes with an abundance of ginger, enough to start your own sushi joint.A friendly suggestion: pre-mixing the spicy tuna and salmon with their sauce, seasoned with Ichimi togarashi, could add an extra layer of flavor. Run by a mom and pop, this place exudes potential. I'll be back, perhaps on a quieter day, excited to delve deeper into what this unpretentious spot has to offer.“
“Allow me to extol the virtues of my recent dining experience at Raku Izakaya, an establishment that exquisitely marries culinary mastery with impeccable hospitality. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.Raku Izakaya's menu is a symphony of flavors, expertly curated to delight even the most discerning palate. Each dish presented an artful fusion of traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary flair, showcasing the chef's dedication to both tradition and innovation. From delicate sushi rolls bursting with freshness to robust izakaya-style small plates brimming with bold flavors, every bite was a revelation.Yet, it is not only the exceptional cuisine that distinguishes Raku Izakaya, but also the impeccable service and attention to detail. The staff exhibited a genuine passion for their craft, effortlessly guiding me through the menu and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience exceeded expectations. As I reflect on my time at Raku Izakaya, I am filled with a sense of gratitude for having had the opportunity to partake in such an exceptional culinary journey. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Raku Izakaya to anyone seeking an unparalleled dining experience that transcends mere sustenance to become a true culinary adventure.“
“Got the teriyaki chicken lunch special today. $14.34 got me juicy teriyaki chicken, not too salty, salad with the typical ginger carrot dressing which wasn't too tangy, carrots, broccoli, brown rice and miso soup. It was a bargain if you ask me. Everything was greatVegetarian options: Sushi rolls, sides, apps & moreParking: May have to park on the side or behind, but sure to find something.“
“Great experience and highly recommended. Their Omakasan was better than expected, but that was not it. We also ordered yakitori and miso cod. Oh so goooood. The night ended with great ice cream and it's not just some ice cream that tasted like freezer burn. Get the red bean ice cream and you will not regret it. Highly recommend to rsvp at the bar. If you don't have a rsvp, you probably won't get a table for walking in, just FYI!“
“A nice little sushi shop in Fort Lee. I had sushi/sashimi combo and a dragon roll. It was delicious, prepared well, and the fish was very fresh. Only difficulty going there can be finding parking. But on a mid week day or evening this should not be problem.“
“Best paninis ever! Friendly staff. Food is always delicious and fresh. I wish they were open later but I understand their hours. I could eat here everyday. Prices are reasonable. $9-13 for a panini. Not bad prices as it lasts me usually for two meals (depending on how hungry I am, and if I can stop myself from scarfing the whole sandwich down because it is so delicious it can be hard to stop myself).“
“If you are looking for fresh raw fish in New Jersey, I highly recommend it.Ilpoom Medical Soju was especially good when eating raw fish. The four of us ate it happily and it was worth the money. If u really want korean style sushi this is place where you looking for....“
“I recently ordered from Akasaka this past weekend and I have to say this might be my new favorite sushi place. I ordered the sushi & roll platter to share with a few friends and we all agreed that the rolls and sashimi tasted so fresh. They were so accommodating when I asked to get toro sushi (for an additional fee) in the platter instead. Their miso soup was seasoned perfectly, not too bland or salty. Also, I love how they gave us plenty of wasabi and ginger. Support your local business and order from Akasaka!“
“Best bubble tea in NJ! I really love their unique and delicious flavors. Definitely my go to when I’m craving bubble tea. If you like coffee try their cappuccino smoothie with coffee jelly, and if you’re adventurous and looking for a new flavor try their chocolate bubble tea with tapioca jelly!“
“Its BYOB and they have All You Can Eat option as well. I ordered A la carte but the prices for AYCE is not bad at all considering the taste, quality, and large menu they offer. Service is great as well, our server actually gave us several complimentary dishes as well. Even without that I would give service a 5 star since the servers are very attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant. Also, you cannot get sashimi at this quality even at some higher end restaurants near here.My top picks:Yumyum rollJalepano double yellow tail“
“I love Anytime because the vibe is a bit more fancier than other regular pochas you would go to in Fort Lee or Palisades Park. The servers are always nice and attentive. The food is top notch. If you order the honey makgeolli (rice wine) the servers will slice up real honey and put it in your glass.“
