101 CHICKEN Reviews
Super friendly staff, and the chicken sandwich was SO good! Definitely my favorite! The Supreme Chicken is my second favorite, and it’s a must-try if you like spicy food. The Hot Pepper Chicken has this unique flavor that’s oddly addictive 😂❤🔥
robot chicken? chicken robot? A ROBOT MADE MY CHICKEN!!! 🐔
is that not crazy? I went to 101 chicken in fort Lee / near the George Washington bridge and was able to try their chicken. My expectations exceeded. The chicken is ⭐crispy ⭐well battered ⭐sauced very good ⭐and not too saucy 😋

Based on the reviews, 101 CHICKEN is a Korean fried chicken spot in Fort Lee with a tech-driven approach, using a robot fryer and a fully visible, spotlessly clean kitchen that looks like a small lab. The restaurant was featured on Netflix’s “K-Chicken War” competition, where they won Grand Champion. The name “101” stands for binary code, fitting their tech-driven cooking.
The menu includes options like the 101 Potato Crispy Chicken, Supreme, Original Hot Pepper, Soy Honey, Garlic Crumble, 101 Tteokbokki, and Cheese Balls. The 101 Potato Crispy Chicken is the most unique item, with a potato-crusted coating that gives a sharp, crunchy bite and a slightly sweet, tangy “tomato snack” profile. The Supreme is sweet-spicy Korean style with a creamy layer. The Original Hot Pepper has a mild spicy seasoning with a light mala-style tingle. The Soy Honey is a light, sweet-soy glaze. The Garlic Crumble has crispy garlic bits with a touch of sweetness. The 101 Tteokbokki is simple and nostalgic, like street-style tteokbokki. The Cheese Balls are crispy outside, chewy inside, and a little sweet. The chicken is consistently well-fried, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the flavors are clean and balanced. Boneless dark-meat thigh is the best match for the seasoning. The food always comes out fresh, and the portions are generous. The Yuzu Ranch sauce is a favorite. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the establishment is clean.
