“Okay so I do think this is a chicken and burger joint now combined together on the outside of the building. I really didn't notice the time for the chicken place. It was any small corner lit up attached to a burger place. With that said I am not mad at it as I ordered the bulgogi burger which was so good. Very soft and flavorful and I also ordered a order of 10-piece wings. I split it between soy, garlic and sweet and spicy. Now for me I am a Korean chicken lover and I just did it fully get the full experience of Korean Chicken meaning that in every bite it is very crunchy and it is packed with the sauce flavor on top for me. I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.“

“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~“

“Very hospitable and attentive staff. I ordered the bibimbap and cold noodles to go. I think this may have been the best mul naengmyeon I've ever had, this restaurants version of it is very flavorful and well balanced. Atmosphere is comfortable as well. I highly highly recommend!“

“I've had the chicken wings and strips and both were delicious! Got them with the sweet and spicy sauce, can't remember what it was called and couldn't pronounce it even when I was looking at it. The chicken was super crispy and glazed with the sweet and spicy sauce. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Could have been a bit more spicy but still awesome. The fried rice was a bit lacking. Got the kimchi and pork belly variety. The kimchi was not the spicy kind I am accustomed to from other Korean restaurants I've been to. It kinda just tasted like pickled cabbage, which is effectively sauerkraut. And their were only a couple cubes of pork belly. Would definitely not order it again. Not worth the money. Will definitely go be going back for the chicken and lots of other items I am curious about!“

“5/24 Update, the restaurant invited me back for a meal to redeem their service. To be fair, the restaurant was busy for yellowtail season so understandable.

The food was amazing, we got the scallops rice, salon pasta, Wagyu ribs and the clam soup. I prob would do without the scallop rice for future but everything else hit the spot. Esp my favorite, the clam soup.

Thank you Won and the Capitan of the restaurant for taking care of us! I will definitely be back soon again.

Previous update: Came as a party of one, was seated immediately. Sat and waited for 30mins, no one came to serve me or take my order.

“Absolutely wonderful — hands down one of the best meals of the trip. Every dish we ordered was excellent: the watermelon salad, tuna, mandu, steak and potatoes, tteokbokki, and the sesame bread and butter pudding were all full of flavor and beautifully presented.

I loved the Korean-fusion small-plates concept — creative, shareable and really well executed. The cocktails were also excellent.

We sat at the bar for a 5 p.m. dinner before a 7 p.m. show, and the timing was perfect. Service was sharp, everything came out at just the right pace, and the bar had such a lively, engaging atmosphere with great conversation from the team.

“I loved it all! We got the shared galbi dish with two cold noodle dishes. The banchans were stellar, the other reviews didn’t miss on those, but for me the spicy cold noodle was truly amazing. I’d almost just want it as its own dish, but very happy we got it.

I’d recommend the galbi to anyone or the mini galbi, eat it with some kimchi!“

“Dining at Joo Ok in New York felt incredibly special to me as a Korean. I had visited Joo Ok in Korea several times with my parents, so I came with fond memories and high expectations. Somehow, the New York experience felt even more refined and memorable. The cuisine has evolved beautifully while preserving the traditional techniques, flavors, and soul of Korean cooking.

Every course was thoughtful, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in Korean culinary tradition. Even the desserts carried a sense of jeong, the warmth, generosity, and affection that are so uniquely Korean. I especially loved the beautiful tableware by Korean artist Myung Wook Huh. The vessels were works of art in themselves, and seeing the food presented alongside pieces by Korean artists made each course feel almost like an artwork of its own. There was a beautiful harmony between the food, the craftsmanship, and the space.

The interior was warm and intimate and made me feel as though I were back in Korea, while the New York city view outside created an almost dreamlike contrast. The service was gracious, polished, and genuinely warm.“

Specializes in tofu dishes so we plumped for the spicy tofu hotpot but also ordered some tasty beef and zucchini pancakes and spicy gochujang chicken. “The best Korean cold noodle in Manhattan—and maybe all of NYC! They’re Pyongyang-style cold noodles served in a mild, delicate broth. The noodles have a high buckwheat content. I would rank them alongside some of the top-tier, authentic cold noodle houses in South Korea. A little more generous amount of garnish would be great, though.

Hwangtae hot noodles come in a clean, delicate, yet flavorful broth, finished with fresh perilla oil. I could tell high-quality ingredients (pollock and perilla oil) were used.

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. “We arrived around 7:25 pm Sat night. After a ~25 mins wait time we got a table. From the time food arrived to done eating it was about another 30 mins.

We ordered the beef bbq combo for 4 + seafood pancake + raw beef tartar. All food is good. My fav meat is the next to premium short rib. There are 6 different kinds of side dishes for free. All very nice.
