“Loved everything about my experience here. Had the rotisserie chicken, ddukbokki fries, and some drinks and it was honestly so delicious and filling. I would absolutely come here again- huge thank you to Kevin for the honest + on point reccomendations, as well as, thinking creatively, and on the spot to make a cute/litt birthday moment. Had the best drinks I've had in a long while here, and would even contemplate stopping by just for the drinks alone.“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

“Came here for the chicken skin and the bami giew goong and both did NOT disappoint. Chicken skin was crazy crispy, comes with this sweet-tangy dipping sauce that I could've drank straight. Gone in like 2 minutes.

The egg noodle with shrimp wontons soups on side was so comforting — wontons were packed full, broth was light but flavorful, loaded with cilantro and bok choy. Def the move if you want something warm and filling.

Portions are big, food came out fast and hot. Definitely coming back to try more off the menu 🍜“

“Cute little place for a quick dinner! The chicken is incredibly tender, juicy, flavorful and fell right off the bone. Loved the crispy fried chicken wings, the pan fried pork dumplings, chicken fried rice and scallion pancakes. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Pleasant experience!“

It’s our favorite late night restaurant in our neighborhood and we knew we needed them on the menu for our wedding. “I really wanted to love this place. This was my second visit, and while there are a lot of things they do well, there are still some areas that need improvement.

Food:
As a Korean, I thought the chicken itself was really good. It was crispy, and I liked that they offer so many sauce options. My favorites were the Sweet & Sour and Spicy Garlic. The Smoky K-BBQ, it was meh- it wasn’t sweet, spicy, or smoky enough and tasted pretty bland. The SOS Spicy was extremely spicy (Buldak-level), so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to heat.

I’ve tried a lot of Korean fried chicken spots in NJ, and I’d honestly rank this as one of the better ones. My biggest complaint is the sauce application. The chicken wasn’t coated evenly, with a lot of bare spots, and they weren’t very generous with the sauce, so there wasn’t enough to coat the pieces that were left plain.

The Blooming Onion was tasty but a little too greasy.The dipping sauce was also meh. The Korean Corn Ribs were good, but the portion felt small for the price.

Service:
This has been the biggest issue on both of my visits. They gave me an estimated pickup time, and I arrived after that, but my order still wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting another 5+ minutes even though I was the only customer there.

I know it’s World Cup season and everyone wants to watch the games, but the cooks were watching soccer while cooking instead of focusing on the orders. It gave the impression that the kitchen wasn’t paying full attention.

Overall, this is a good spot with some really solid food, but it has plenty of room for improvement. I hope the manager sees this review because with a little more attention to consistency and service, this place could easily become one of the best Korean fried chicken spots in the area.“

“This place has been on my bucket list for a long time so I was looking forward to my visit.

I got the chili chicken leg with fries combo, which was made to order. The dish was beautifully presented and the chicken was perfectly cooked. However, I thought that the seasoning was unexpectedly sweeter than I would have liked. I appreciate that gloves were offered.

Beware that if you dine in, there is only a portable AC that absolutely struggled to perform; I found the temperature inside unbearably hot. I felt bad for the staff, who were fantastic.

I'd come again to try something else, though maybe for takeout instead.“

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! “Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“

“Plenty seating and the small tables are close to another. You can order via the counter or kiosk on the side. Ordered the Hainanese Chicken and Nom Yen. Boneless chicken thigh was juicy paired with the sauce which was a tad sour(in a good way) to compliment each other, while the rice absorbs the juices. As for the Nom Yen, personally not for me but it tastes like Strawberry Pocky with 2x more sweetness if you have a sweet tooth. If the seating does not fit to your liking there is a park nearby with benches.“

“Hard to find decent priced, good food in the area. This avenue in particular has a high turnover rate for business.
