“First time coming to this friendly establishment and so close in Port Washington! We where seated in comfy seats and accommodated very fast. The food was very large and fresh. In particular the Ojingeo bokkeum(spicy squid) , bim bap, and Jajangmyeon where excellent. Lucia our server was very nice and held the upmost service even with our large group. “This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.

They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.“

“SEOUL TOFU is a solid option if you’re craving some good old-fashioned Korean food. This replaced Witch Topokki but they didn’t change much other than their food menu. You can still see traces of the old restaurant on the table and on their silverware.

Seafood Pancake 10/10 - So crispy! I like pancakes that are crispy all around the edges and contain a lot of seafood.
Grilled Yellow Croaker 8/10 - Good value but a tad too salty.

VERY affordable burger (smash burger and chicken sandwich were $5) and the quality is top notch - great quality beef and well-seasoned chicken. “Hands down, this place is awesome. I can't tell if it’s a hole-in-the-wall spot or not, but the menu is stacked with delicious Korean stews and soups. “Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“I ordered Mackerel Ssam, and it had a lot of colorful vegetables, so it looked good and tasted good. I tried it once and it was so delicious that I keep thinking about it!

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“Fairly new KBBQ spot that specializes in grilled duck. The meat is super fresh and all the side dishes are really tasty, as well as the Makguksu. They are a little understaffed so service is not the quickest but it seems like they just opened so they'll figure it out. Give it a try - Duck BBQ is the holy grail of KBBQ there is no going back!“

All the takeout food is house-made, with a great variety of banchan (side dishes) and authentic snacks. I tried a unique banchan with jellyfish, papaya, turnip, and carrots—it was refreshing and perfectly crunchy. I also had pancakes, pork dumplings, and chicken over rice, all of which were delicious. The chicken rice bowl was served warm, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be back to try more items.“

The food is great we love coming here regularly. The host is always cold towards us, she’s much more polite towards other Koreans, could be a language barrier. The Resturant is always cold temperature wise, wear your jacket.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid. Authentic korean restaurant with all the dishes you can think of and bbq if you like. The only thing that was a letdown was their rule when ordering bbq. Minimum is two orders of meat. I never knew about this rule because we usually go with larger groups and order a lot. It was only me and my girl this time and we both wanted our own main dish with a little bbq meat but unfortunately had to go without the bbq this time.

No fuss. We ordered a seafood pancake for appetizer and seafood soon dooboo and dolsot bibimbap for our main dishes. Came out to about $60 before tip so very affordable as always.

Place used to be 24 hours but I see they've cut their hours to midnight. Anyways. Always a good place to go for a guaranteed good time. Come early or book a reservation otherwise there will be a wait. During peak times on the weekends, you might be waiting awhile.

They coned off two metered spots for customers so it was nice to pull up and park right in front.“

Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.“

“Food was very good! Portions were bigger than expected. The dumplings had thin wrappers and a crispy crunch. I very much enjoyed them. The Bimbimbap was flavorful. The Burger Steaks were a bit sweet which was unexpected, but yummy. The cold pasta salad was very refreshing, slightly sweet and had a good balance of all the flavors and veggies. I'm not a fan of cold macaroni salad, but this one was so tasty. The fish cake had a nice soy sauce brine. I have never had a fish cake with that depth of flavor in it. The kimchi had a good crunch. “The staff and the food was amazing! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. The host Mia and Elena was delightful and our server Minerva was gracious and accommodating. i enjoyed the spicy rose rice cakes and the tofu spicy pork with kimchi. they were delicious. i will say the kimchi stew was not it. it was soo salty and lacking flavor. not sure if it was an off day or just not good but it was not edible at all. we did not attempt to finish it after trying a sip. i would come back for the rice cakes and give the udon a try because they sound delicious.“
