“If you want an authentic taste experience, you have to try MrDak. They take pride in three core principles: organic chicken, clean oil, and tasty sauce. ?
With a wide variety of flavors, each bite of their fried chicken is a crispy, juicy, and tender delight! ?✨
They also have variety of other delicious Korean dishes.
We indulged in their Mr. Jjimdak, a braised chicken dish with house specialty sauce, glass noodles, veggies, and rice cake. It was bursting with flavor, and guess what? They even offer a free bottle of soju with this meal! ??
Overall, MrDak offers not only incredible food but also outstanding service. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine! ??✨
We ordered
Combo wings and drumsticks
Kimchi Pancake with cheese
Mr JJim Dak ( Braised chicken)

“Overall, the food was tasty, the grilled chicken feet was a bit too spicy for some people. The portion was pretty satisfying. The only thing is that they included taxes in the total but didn't indicate that on the bill, so I calculated the tips based on the total, which means I gave extra tips…“

“We had our lunch here in Auust 2014. We ordered the Korean tofu soup and bibimbap with oyster. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was friendly. It was like home cooking, and the favor would not overpower the taste. The price was reasonable. Will definitely return for this genuine Korean cooking.“

“saw this place thru a tiktok video series made by their son and wanted to give it a try for the longest time. they were closed the first time we came but today was the day. we ordered two double smash burgers with fries and a potato korean corn dog. these were probably the best corn dogs i have ever had. these were way better than the ones you get at Tangram or the other food halls. it was crunchy and not oily at all. i absolutely will get it again. the smash burgers were amazing! we were not expecting them to be huge and full of flavor! the owners were so so so sweet and attentive. we decided to try their twisted donut and omg it was one of the best donuts i have had. they were made to order and it was so soft and fluffy inside. the cinnamon sugar was a nice touch to it. i HIGHLY recommend getting the donut ? the owner also brought out two fried oreos covered in their two sugars that they offered for us to try. those were also really good too!! wayyy better than the American version you get at the state fair. will most definitely be coming back and letting others know about this lovely place! ?“

“I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“The chicken is nothing short of incredible—crispy, golden perfection on the outside with meat so juicy and tender, it practically melts in your mouth. The secret is in the double-frying technique, which gives the chicken that irresistible crunch that doesn’t quit.
But the flavors are what really set this spot apart. The soy garlic wings are my personal favorite—sweet, savory, and utterly addictive. If you’re a fan of spice, the hot and spicy option packs a punch without overwhelming your taste buds.
Beyond the chicken, the menu offers a great selection of sides that perfectly complement the main event. The pickled radish adds a refreshing tangy crunch, while the sweet potato fries are the ideal balance of sweet and salty.“

“I have been a fan of their food for the longest time! Even when their location was in the Murray Hill area. The food is always fresh and home made as the owner cooks everything. They really care about the food they serve, which is rare these days! My parents and I always eat well when we're there. They serve you an appetizer of tomato salad with cilantro which is so good. I highly recommend their seafood pancake(it is the best!), their soy marinated crabs, and their tangs(various hearty soups). Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. They change seasonally based on what ingredients are currently fresh.“

“I ordered takeout for the third time and the food is still amazing as ever. My favorite is the kimchi fried rice and the donkatsu with cheese. The price is super affordable too.
The first time I came was a while back and dined in. Atmosphere was very relaxing and the workers were attentive and welcoming.

“Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. It may be difficult to find parking close by as it is on a busy street. Restaurant is spacious and clean with a bell at each table to ring up the wait staff. Wait staff were pleasant and patient, and quick to tidy up finished plates. Food was delicious and the tofu soup is perfect for cold days.“

“Korean Street food such as donkatsu, teokbeokki, and fried chicken are the main items on the menu. The taste of the food is average but not bad for the price. Atmosphere is quite nice with a couple of tables available for seating. There's also no restroom available for customers.“

“This place is THE place to go!!! We get food here almost every other week, we know almost all of the servers and they know our go to. Not only at this location but the Long Island location as well. The service is amazing, fast, and customizable as there are different menus for everyone. The sides are delicious and the meats as well, try everything should be the motto for this place because there is a dish you will fall in love with like we have. We love this place a little too much!! 10/10 recommend it’s the best all you can eat hands down.“

“First I worried because it looked not many people inside at 5:30. However each side dishes tasted great. Grilled mackerel tasted so good and fresh. Bossam, steamed pork was good. Ssambab was great with full dishes of fresh vegetables ( I didn’t expect that much because it was winter. All veggies are expensive)Potions enough. I was so satisfied. I will happily recommend this place to my friends. Owner lady looks pride if her food and not so fast but enough kind to refill side dishes. We cleaned all our orders.“

“This is not Deoksugung Palace, but has been changed to a raw fish restaurant. We went to Wassada Hoepocha for lunch, and the two of us ordered a large portion of assorted raw fish and ate a lot. If you go to other places, they serve a lot of sukidashi, but the sashimi is served in 4 pieces of each type on top of something like a stone, and they use dry ice to create an optical illusion, but here, the sukidashi is served simply, but the sashimi is really steamed and served in abundance. The salmon is eaten with red pepper paste and wasabi sauce, the tuna is wrapped in seaweed and dipped in oil sauce, and the flounder is eaten with ssam sauce, so it's really delicious. The sashimi was so plentiful and fresh that I thanked the chef and he really impressed me. The owner served me very kindly, so I enjoyed my meal. Oh, and after you finish eating all the raw fish, spicy spicy spicy stew is served in an earthen pot, so make sure to save some. There is a $20 difference between the medium size and the large size, so I ordered a large size to try to eat as much raw fish as I could, but I ended up getting so full that I ended up packing the rest. This is enough for two people to eat together. I think I will eat it generously. Sea Story was $200 for 4 people a few years ago, but it seems to have gone up now. This is a place where 4 people can fill their stomachs with sashimi for half the price. I highly recommend it to those who are serious about sukidashi.“

“Very nice restaurant with kind people. We don’t speak korean - but it went just fine with their guidance. The portions are generous and really excellent in quality. Fresh and high quality, and the prices are very good. I will definitely come back again. As noted by others, it’s no longer called Nawabari. Has a Korean sign. Even if you don’t speak Korean, no worries. They are very welcoming and nice! Worth the trip.“

“Since crispy cloud came to town, my life has been significantly improved.I LOVE their taiyaki, smoothies and açaí bowls. It’s important to note that it’s not that “fast” but that’s because it’s currently one person working there and she’s making everything fresh. It’s completely worth the $$ and time for me.“

“Very flavorful beef bone soup.
They only have one item on the menu and they do it right! You can choose mild or spicy.
Side dishes were simple but reminded me of my childhood in Korea. Roasted seaweed, rolled eggs and radish kimchee.
It gets packed most of times so lunch is a good time go.
Parking: Lunch time is easier to find street parking. Meter parking.“

“Posting review while enjoying the food. This place is amazing. Freshly-made kimbap, generous portions for an amazing price, and excellent miso soup. Really had mom and pop shop feel with actual Koreans running it (not that that should matter per se). Everyone behind the counter was so sweet, too. We had the vegetarian and mushroom kimbaps (latter has fish cake) to meet the $10 minimum for paying by credit card, both were very satisfying.
For the price and quality and just the feel of supporting a local shop, I definitely want to come back often.“

“So, I have been trying to try the famous Modoo halal ramen since last ramadan, as always, it was a 30 min wait, understandable they're very busy. We get seated and order our food. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We had to keep asking for napkins. Our water was never refilled, and the server forgot the order of the table next to us. The food was incredible, however, which made up for the experience, but seeing as the service was struggling, I was not impressed.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. The service was selective but the person serving me up the galbi was great. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “Lovely servers. Our family of 8 were not very knowledgeable on korean bbq etiquette but the servers were so kind to help with it. Their small dishes [bonchon?] were all so yummy we asked for 2nd and 3rd rounds. No fuss. Price is quite reasonable too. We ordered the big pork combo and were surprised by the portions. The shop does the BBQ on a clear grill, not sure if it is a gimmick or it actually differs from the traditional metal frames we usually see. They do cook everything quite fast so it was a bit hard catching up once the meats were done. Would come back.“

“Tasty Korean restaurant on Northern Blvd! We came with 8 people and split into 2 tables and each table got the Chef Special to split between 4 people. We got a mix of squid, pork and chicken, with added ramen, and fried rice. Our table got the “non-spicy” version but it still had a decent kick to it. Great meal if you are planning to split family style. If you try to order this with 2 people, you will be stuffed! The staff were super nice, cooked the meal for us on the grill on our table, and were very interactive.“

“A good fried chicken spot find. The meat quality was very good and comes with a very decent amount of tenders. Was seasoned well with the sauces and the springs onion is a must have to add to your order.Only thing it falls short on is the crunch. Theres no breading on it which is fine, but the chicken itself also lacks a crispy shell.“

“Food was amazing!
They said new management from 4 months ago.
So many high quality side dishes and good service.
We had the marinated pork ribs. The serving portions were good and I liked the marinade. I also really liked that they cooked it over coals, so it tasted much better.
Insanely cheap lunch menu prices“
