comforting Korean food
One of the best seafood pancakes and sundae I've had. This was my first time trying 청국장 (清國醬), or cheonggukjang. It has a very strong smell, almost like a really strong cheese, with an intense, deeply fermented flavor. It's quite rich and very filling, worth trying if you're curious about traditional Korean flavors.
We got the soondae gukbop and the meat head gukbop. Both were delicious and had plenty of meat! The gukbop soup had a nice rich, deep flavor even before adding in the seasoning. The owners were friendly.
