“My absolute favorite place!“

“First time here yesterday and the food is great! I love all the selections and there’s great vegetarian options. Their egg fried rice was super fluffy and soft, worth the try! I got about 1.5 lbs of dry pot at 0.5 spicy and it was too spicy for me. I also think the saltiness can be reduced. Service was quick and restaurant is clean.
Would definitely come back to try other items.

Portions are very generous, the staff is super welcoming, and the prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. “If you want to recharge your energy, this is a must-visit, one-of-a-kind wellness food spot in Palisades Park, NJ.

With chicken so tenderly slow-cooked that the meat just falls off the bone, the combination with the rich, deep broth is pure art.
Aside from the classic chicken Baeksuk, the lineup including duck, neungi mushroom, lacquer, abalone, and Haesintang is incredibly impressive. Depending on your preference, it was great to be able to choose between the deep 'herbal broth' or the savory, chewy 'nurungji porridge.'

The variety of side dishes isn't huge, but the sweet and sour pickled vegetables served with it make an amazing combo with the Baeksuk.

On top of that, with the complimentary pancake that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, it is a generous spread that will instantly bring back your lost appetite.

The portion is so huge at about 3 to 4 servings, the more people you go with, the better the value.
I highly recommend it for bringing your parents or as a group gathering spot for friends.

Because Baeksuk dishes require a long cooking time, a phone reservation at least 90 minutes in advance is an absolute must! If you just walk in, you might not be able to get a table, so make a reservation before you visit!“

“I have been to many hot pot places and this is the very best I have ever been to. It’s one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is always super fresh and delicious, the staff is super amazing, and the ambience is spot on for a fun and relaxing dining experience. To top it all off, I have food sensitivities (gluten free, in particular), but I have never had any issues here. I always get the mushroom soup base. It is soooooo flavorful. I don’t live close, but always try to find excuses to go to American Dream Mall just to dine here!“

“This place is cute and friendly, but the food was insane. It was so good so fresh and fun you get to make your own food at the barbecue table. The staff was incredible. The quality of the food was incredible. The sauces were so different than other places, and I just kept dipping all the meats and seafood and veggies into the sauces. Highly recommend.“

“We finally tried the hot pot here, and it was honestly such a great experience! The broth was absolutely AMAZING so rich, flavorful, and comforting. Every single ingredient tasted fresh, from the thinly sliced meats to the veggies, dumplings, noodles, and skewers. Everything was sooo good! 🤤

The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant has such a fun, cozy vibe, making it the perfect spot for a family dinner or a meal with friends.

One thing that really stood out to me was that they have a separate prayer area, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our visit even more comfortable. It’s always appreciated when restaurants consider the needs of their guests like that.

“Our daughter took us here while we were visiting NY for her graduation for Wagyu Shabu. I normally don't like places with many prices, but since our daughter chose it so we enjoy with her. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one.
For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu.
The place is clean and nice.
For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced.
We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it.
Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things.
The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it.
The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow.
The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty.
The vegetables are fresh and clean.
After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy.
I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like.
This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy.
So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.“

“If you're craving hot pot in the LIC area, this is a solid choice. Price obviously depends how much you get; dining as a party of 4, we spent around $50pp. Everything can be requested or ordered via the iPad (including a call service button), so there's limited direct contact with staff. I like how they provide bags for jackets to make sure not ALL of your possessions come out of the restaurant smelling like hotpot.

While it makes sense to have a big table to hold all of our ingredients, I felt the distance from one end to the table to the other was large! We had to raise our voices to talk to each other.

The sauce bar has the essentials as well as 2 side dishes (altho I don't remember what they were, I didn't end up getting them) and orange slices (we ate those at the end of the meal).

There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant, so there was a bit of a line when I had to go.“

“It was an amazing Shabushabu experience, we got The Premium Course ($178 per person), where the meal was mostly served with A5 Miyazaki Wagyu.

Attentive service where the staff explained which sauce to pair with the meat. I never thought you could dip your meat into different combinations of sauces. The best pairing was the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu with Karajiru and Nori paste.

Overall, a very cozy and delicious meal.“

“Such a cozy and ambient environment. The food is definitely as good as haidilao, but without the loudness and crowdiness. The meat was super tender and delicious and came out very fast. We had a 90 minute time limit which was more than enough. The service was very reliable. Highly recommend the lamb and the spicy broth. They let us take the broth home with us which will make a great meal. Will definitely come back. The $34 all you can eat is very worth it!!“

“I ordered the mala dry pot, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was flavorful without being overly salty, and the spice level was perfect. “Found this place by accident. And OMG. One of the best Chinese skewer we've ever had, we tried Chubby Skewer in midtown, this place is better than that! Servers was friendly and helpful. Will be back for more.

“Parking comps for upstairs for 3hrs. The sauce bar is good, the snacks are interesting and the pots can be 1,2, or 3 styles of soup base. Good pricing and only issue is seating is for 4 or 6; one table of 8 available. So big parties may need to split up a bit. Definitely a fan of the snacks, good service, and they gave a little toy to the kids, too!

Broth has gotten better in 2026, but service a bit less and they are less busy. They had to add an all-you-can-eat option on M-Thu (Fri before 5p) and while that is good, overall they are struggling a bit to keep the same foot traffic as before. A bit of a bummer as they do have a good selection and are convenient.“

The beef in our sukiyaki was soft, and super yummy. The veggies were complimentary and rounded out the flavors of our dish. We ordered extra prime beef, and veggies and noodles. As a Chengdu native who was born and raised in Chengdu for more than 20 years, when I first came to the United States last year and ate it for the first time, I thought it was delicious and authentic, even better than many skewers restaurants in Chengdu. “Tried it for the first time today and it was amazinggg. Hidden gem in the mall food court. We tried the beef rice bowl and the fried crispy chicken rice bowl. The chicken was crispy and the spices blended together so well. The beef bowl was also some of the best ive tried.

I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“
