I recently visited Sanku Maots'ai and had such a great experience! First off, the hot pot is super affordable, which is always a win for my wallet. I was impressed by how everything felt really fresh and was prepared right in front of us. It made the meal feel even more special. I went with the spiciest Sichuan broth, and has officially became the reddest, oiliest malatang bowl or food I have ever consumed.
For someone who also cares about protein, they get ++ points for having chicken breast.
It is a bit too salty to my liking but diluting water into my soup solved it. I wish they had more numbing.
