“Everyone is right, the service is very good! All the seafood was large and fresh. Meats were good. Even the drinks were part of the AYCE and I feel like they rarely are at these types of places. Totally worth it! Go early as it gets crowded later at into the evening.“

“Love love love coming to KPOT for BBQ!You get a great deal for your buck!So far I’ve visited KPOT 4 times for dinner on a Friday (4pm) with a party of 2-4ppl.Waiting time usually doesn’t take long.I as a pescatarian crave the spicy salmon from time to time and also enjoy their other seafood options!My hubby loves the pork belly and beef/steak options a lot!2hrs max seating, so use your time accordingly to get the most out of it!Also keep in mind you’ll leave with quite a smell afterwards and will have to wash/air out your clothes/jacket.“

“One of my favorite hotpot places in NYC! One of my criteria for judging a hotpot place is their fish fillet. Some other places have fish fillet that’s super fishy, but this place has super tender and fresh fish. The prices and service were great!“

“My favorite Brooklyn hotpot place. It’s all you can eat for 31 or 39 for skewers as well! With that price it’s amazing. The quality of the food and service from the waiters is also top notch!! Definitely recommend coming here and also calling early to get a seat reserved.“
“My friend recommended this place, but after reading so many bad reviews, i was skeptical. Somehow, some reviews looked fake, so I decided to come with my friends anyway. We came for lunch, and we were pretty impressed with the seafood selection. Most of them are very good and fresh. They gave us a small fresh lobster for the table and abalone per person. The shrimps were alive, but they said no more after 2 orders, which was hard to believe. But I got it, it's expensive. The drinks are included and as well as the desserts. The service was good. The waitress was very nice. We had a great time and will definitely come back again.“
“First time coming here for Palm Sunday dinner only 3 of us foods excellent and service was awesome and friendly. Waitress explain to us on the menu and clean our plate very often and add water to our hot pot when not enough water in it very often. “I am a frequent solo hotpot diner, and while I have found that many places (understandably) seem less than thrilled by a table of one, Lan Ting Hotpot is always extremely accommodating and provides fantastic service regardless. Generally, I don't put a huge amount of stock in to how the service is at a given place, but with hotpot it is vital to have attentive servers. Lan Ting certainly excels in this capacity, as well as having a very solid selection of ingredients, a complete sauce bar, and a quite flavorful spicy mala soup base. Although I am not an expert, I believe the meat here to be high quality. Both the beef and lamb are very tender and the soup base flavors it adequately enough that I often forget to even use my sauce some of the time. The beer is cold, the prices are good, and the people are friendly and attentive. Although there's other hot pot places I would rank higher in certain categories, this is my favorite overall pick and I regularly travel over an hour to eat here. Highly recommended.“
“This place was amazing. me and a friend were looking for something different and we stumbled across this place. The staff was really friendly greeting us when we came in & We looked at the menu and were confused about how to order, but the host and server were very attentive, and suggested many options, based on what our dietary restrictions were.. The food was very very good. Very flavorful and the broth was amazing after we took suggestions on what to cook first how long to cook each item and how we should let it marinate. The neighborhood is really cool and the booths were really big. The bathroom was clean and it seems like we were there even after they were closed but they didn't make us feel like we had to rush or they were kicking us out, which I definitely appreciate it since we wanted to really enjoy our food. I would definitely recommend this amazing restaurant. Will be back soon!“

In order to to be a VIP member, you have to purchase their gift card for $100. But you can’t use the gift card on the same day of purchase, you have to use it next time you come back. But you can still use your vip Discount on the same day, for example the chicken broth soup is 78.99 and vip pays $39.99, the watermelon juice is $5.99 vip pays 4.99. The menu there has 2 price , one listing for regular customer and red letters listing is for VIP members. VIP members gets Almost $1 off on most dishes.
