“Pleasantly surprised to find this authentic spot full of amazing flavors in the middle of our Williamsburg day trip! Walked in for lunch, we got lucky to get in before a big party, but either way their service is great- I asked for recommendation and I was not disappointment. I only wish I had more mouths to feed at my table so I could have ordered everything to try. I thoroughly enjoyed the “husband and wife special” chilled beef and tripe in chili oil and peanut bits, and the sautéed green beans. I believe if you get the lunch special for the dishes you’d get a side white rice, which is much needed to mix with all the delicious sauces! I also ordered the dan dan noodles which were also very delicious. They have quite many options in their menu and all seems really great to eventually try. If you enjoy sichuan flavors this is your spot!“

“We tried the restaurant for the first time. We went on a Friday night and every table was taken and the place was very loud. People kept coming and going the whole time we were there. The food was very good, a bit spicy for me even asking to tone it down, but enjoyable non the less. We would definitely go back.“

“ANOTHER REVIEW INCOMING!
The atmosphere and service at this place is just so welcoming. Amazing restaurant design with long lengthy hallways and plentiful outdoor seating in the back. That alone made me want to come back.
The dishes were all tasty, but I did not try any pork or beef dishes so I feel as if this review is incomplete. Everything was tasty but besides the chicken dumplings I think I would order completely new items next time.
Make sure they get you started with the pickled spicy cabbage. It was delicious.“
“The cart has been here for years and still remains my favorite place to get take-out for rice noodles. They are completely made to order and the owners are super friendly, the noodles super delicious and budget friendly. There’s a variety of options/combinations/sauces you can get with your rice noodles and I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.“

“Love this place. I started eating at this place when it was a hall in the wall. The owners moved to this current location and I followed. It is one of the best noodle places in Brooklyn and very reasonable priced. I come here at least once a week. The reviews are accurate. Crossing the bridge noodle is my favorite. My friend loves the beef stew noodle. When we are extra hungry we order the hot and sour dumplings too. So Yummy! They have the air conditioning blasting and a fan going during the summer time so you can still enjoy the delicious noodle soup!“

“This was my second time here and we had a bunch of things! The standouts for this place was the crab roe Tofu, the summer max (cocktail), the pea shoots, fatty beef in sour soup, the feihong spicy shrimp, and the fish blossom(sweet and sour). This place is definitely a must visit and will definitely come again.“

“A very fun and entertaining meal. Everything was really good - my favorites were the broad chili noodle and mushroom Peking duck. They really like to add a bit of flair with their meal presentation. I do wish that you could eat the mapo tofu rice after it's set on fire - who doesn't love crispy rice? I guess they use some sort of accelerant that makes it inedible.
We overordered because the entire menu sounds really good - the leftovers heated up well. The staff was really attentive and helpful.“

“Not just the place you go to when lil’ tif is too busy. Chiko is delicious. Mapo tofu, dan dan noodles and string beans were all great and the two mains were generous portions for the price. Also I really appreciate it when a restaurant doesn’t skimp on the white rice ($2/bowl).“

“I stumbled upon this place on Instagram and was amazed by the affordable prices. While I looked on the table, it mentioned no msg and artificial flavors. While most items are priced around $8, you can even find a lunch small dish for $5. Though not conveniently located, it's the sole dining option on the block. It operates on a self-service basis, saving you on tips. The service was good, and they speak Mandarin and don't seem to
understand much English. The atmosphere was calm, although it did get busy as I was leaving.
Although they advertised a free soup or soda on Yelp, they were out of soup. However, they did offer soda and I selected sparkling water. The ambiance was festive, with decorations from the recent Lunar New Year, and there was a TV playing old school music. I'd like to note that they accept only cash payments or an app called Cash, which isn't very popular. Also, a restroom is available.
Overall, my experience was positive, and I would definitely consider returning.“

“My favorite spot for the winter with their nice soup noodles for about only $10 per bowl which is really nice with how much they give you and how warming you will feel every bite. it is like any other restaurant, you wait until they seat you, wait until you are ready to order, you wait for the food, eat, tip and leave. the place is usually really packed during lunch time so either be lucky/wait to eat or not go at lunch.“

“It can be chaotic here and I didn't understand the system the first time I came. So, the people against the counter is where you line up. Those against the wall have ordered already and are waiting. Service is sweet, patient and friendly. The "everything" is great! Yes, everything. They have the best bread I've ever had in ten years. I drove 35 mins to get here, then spent another ten looking for a park, found one two blocks away and too close to a hydrant but took the chance.....yes, worth it.“

They are only take out....will definitely be back and try something else when im in the area. On another note their front service workers are not very friendly, but I went and gave the 5 stars on account of their products.“

“Came here quite often tho usually for takeout. I’m always a fan of their potstickers and the sour and spicy soup. There are potstickers are quite packed with meat and the skin is a bit thicker than other stores the sour and spicy soup is my absolute go-to dish here.“

“Cheap eats are what this place is all about. Nothing is expensive, but what I ate was delicious, and that's what matters. If you want a glamorous restaurant, this is not your place. This is a bare bones, good taste place.I got the peanut noodles ($3) and a ten piece chive dumpling ($5) in January of 2024. Super flavorful items. The noodles taste like a hot oiled peanutbutter. The chive dumplings have a strong pork and chive flavor, no sauce needed for me.Great place to add to a food crawl.
Parking: Parking is scarce.
Wheelchair accessibility: Way too cramped for a wheelchair.“

“Great place to get noodle soup and other stuff. I typically get the beef slices noodle soup with either kimchi, mala, or tomato soup bases. Always comes out piping hot with generous portions of noodle and soup. Decent amount of beef but for the price it is more than worth it. Their fried chicken is always good too. They are on the border between crispy and crunchy, and the meat is piping hot and juicy.“

“I do take out usually and sometimes dine in. Order at the counter, seat yourself and grab utensils yourself. Basic but cute interior. I eat on a budget so I just get the basic noodle soup with tofu for $5. They also have combos if you want noodle soup with dumplings or some other meat. Flavor is great, also one of the few restaurants that takes card, but they do have a $15min“

I ordered the Szechuan braised beef noodles and a side of marinated fried chicken, my friend ordered the marinated beef rice bowl. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, I especially loved the subtle spice with the noodles. The sauce served with the fried chicken was also delicious! 5⭐️“

“Also known as Ling Ling Kitchen.Solid Chinese take out spot. I got so lucky that this place is less than five minutes away from me! Great prices, big portions, and a no-contact ordering/delivery/pickup process. Who could ask for more these days?I usually order a shrimp lo mein and chicken and broccoli for pickup, and it's ready within 10 minutes. The first time I went to pick up, when I got there I was happy to see robust protection for the staff and customers in these crazy quarantine times. There's a plastic tarp and a pickup box so there is no contact the entire time. If you pay with card, you use a little slot in the tarp, and if you pay with cash you use the box to the side. Receipts and change also go through the box.The food itself was tasty, flavorful, tender, and exactly what you're looking for when you want Chinese take-out. Seriously -- the brown sauce hit the spot! The lo mein noodles were perfectly cooked, and even though I got the small size the shrimp to noodle ratio was very generous. The chicken and broccoli was also perfectly seasoned and a good size for the small. I only paid $15 for the food and two drinks!Check this place out if you want to satisfy your craving for Chinese takeout. It's worth it.“

“In this building on the lower floor is where an
Underground of the most delicious food in Brooklyn. Booths, tables, It’s a city of Food by itself and some of these dishes are just delicious. And that is what I found in Hana. During the late 70s and early 80s I would go to Chinatown in New York City to get delicious food. then stores open up in Brooklyn, mom and pops Chinese food and I liked it but I didn’t love it. It was just too fast. I came to New Jersey,to visit and we ordered Chinese food from a place called Chinatown Resturant and I thought that I had walked into the 80s. The food was so good. Last week Sunday I went to downtown Brooklyn to the market. I didn’t know what to choose because it was so many vendors ,foodies. I decided to eat Asian food and I stopped by this small room of four people behind this booth ordered shrimp and rice. They gave me so much. I didn’t think I could eat it but it was so fantastic so 1978 1987. That’s how good it was. It was original Asian food, Chinese food.
I don’t know what else to say to you, because thinking about it and not being able to go there at this moment, it really hurts my feelings. It was the texture. The shrimp popped in my mouth. It was not dry and not wet and it was very hot from the skillet and the smell of it the amount of money which was probably $13 for the huge container she gave me I took one more bite and I said he’ll with it. I’m eating it all.
This is not something that you go home in Brooklyn and go back-and-forth to the refrigerator. Just trying to finish it. I’m finishing it right now and I did , and I’m happy and that’s why I’m sending you there because I know you’re gonna love it. Trust me on this one they know what they’re doing.
Vegetarian options: There are many stores in this building and there are places where you can get vegan food, but I did not go as far this time as I wanted to walk around please go there and see for yourself
Kid-friendliness: It’s a wide-open space and there are a lot of stores in this building and there are family places to sit on benches with tables, something like picnic tables so there’s no problem for children there they’re welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: From the street level there are elevators where are people who have wheelchairs or canes can come right up on the elevator and go wherever they like in the building“

“I ordered the Spicy & Tingly Beef Muscle Hand-Ripped Noodles. It was very flavorful with the right amount of numbing spice and a generous amount of veggies (cabbage and celery). Also, the meat was very tender. I’ve had this in many other locations and I have to say, this is the best one yet. 10/10“

“Completely happy!!
Do not choose spicier than mild. It's really spicy enough... it was delicious. The four of us also took 4 different dishes and shared them with each other.
It actually doesn't matter what you choose, meat or fish, dry noodles or noodle soup, it was really delicious. (2 of us actually thought it was on the spicy side, but we enjoyed it very much.)
We are only here for a few days but will try to come back again. 😀“
