“Well, this is a Chinese restaurant that is truly worth visiting. We went on New Year's Eve which shows how important it was to us. The collection of food, how beautifully they are presented on the plate, how cleverly the interior blends the West with the East - these are elements that you should appreciate in person.“
“Atmosphere is warm and service and food are excellent. It is clear that staff take pride in the food they serve, and it does not disappoint! Don’t skip the lamb with hot honey. Wow! The restaurant was a little loud as they do have a larger tables available- a pro and con depending on what you are looking for. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Mama Lee is truly one of a kind. Cooking is her passion and it comes through in the dining experience. Food was great and service was above and beyond. A home cooked meal in Brooklyn. She even packed our kids extra soup to go.Kid-friendliness: Mama Lee went out of her way for our kids with complimentary soup, chicken salad, and lemonade.“
“We started off with some appetizers (shredded potatoes salad and the crispy coconut lava ball). The shredded potatoes salad was delicious and the perfect balance of savory and tangy. The crispy coconut lava balls were also really good but I think next time we would save it for a dessert. I got the beef slices tomato soup rice noodles and it was really filling. I love how much beef slices were in it! My bf got the beef brisket sauced mixed noodles and it was also really good! It was giving peanut-ey noodles with Szechuan spice. Everyone here was also really nice and attentive. 10/10 would highly recommend this spot!“
“I love going to or even just ordering from Shan. Everything is fantastic (although I especially love their dan dan noodles). We usually share the Pork Dumplings in Chill Oil, the Ma-La Szechuan Wonton, Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Soup Dumpling, Crab Roe Soup Dumpling, Sweet & Spicy Udon, and Sliced pork belly w. mustard green.“
“The best thing about the restaurant is the old lady that owns the restaurant! Absolutely! Adorable and soo sweet! The beef noodle dish was so5 stars for 5 seasons1. Owner is sweet! Sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet!2. Beef noodle dish was perfection! Super flavorful, noodle texture perfect! Beef was so tender!3. Price was amazing!4. Fast service! Super!5. Location was good! Not the best!“
“Had a wonderful Sat. evening at Pusu, where the staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. My table enjoyed the Lavender Amethyst and Snow Fall cocktails, cucumber salad (heads up, it's spicy!), salt and pepper fried mushrooms, hot and sour soup, and the standout black truffle fried rice, among other delicacies. Our server was sweet and accommodating. I'll be back!“
“Obsessed with Bonnie’s it had such unique takes on Cantonese classics and each dish was excellent. The atmosphere is modern and fresh - would be cute for a birthday or night out with friends/family. Everyone working there is super nice and personable - great service. Great cocktails too!“
“One of my favorite places in Williamsburg to get Sichuan food. All the dishes are fresh and delicious, absolutely no misses! Service is good. Would definitely recommend reserving a table in advance. Also would recommend getting double cooked pork and spicy fish fillet.“
“Decent FoodIt was slightly overpriced but definitely not bad at allTheir side dishes are expensive and not that greatTheir noodles are what's goodWait-staff is alright. Some of them can be rude, but they treat you nicely for the most part“
“I remember this place before they even moved into an actual restaurant, it was just a small stall shop on 49th street with just a standing table. I cannot find this flavor anywhere else!! I love every single dish here but especially the zhajiang mi xian (no soup version), the sour spicy dumplings, and the pork intestine noodles. ? this place has to be on my list of top 10 favorite noodles.“
“Bring cash to enjoy this amazing spot.Must try the currant roll. Currant rolls are available after 3PM.If you like coconut, you'll LOVE the coconut roll. It is flaky and came warm.If you like the texture of mochi, and you like almond extract, try the cassava pone. There if usually a line out the door so check before walking in.Line moves quickly and service is very kind.“
“Liked the food a lot, it was fresh and very tasty! We ordered the sesame cold noodles, garlic Chinese eggplant, salt and pepper tofu and vegan made weeping tiger salad. Honestly each dish was better than the other, right amount of spice and was light. The atmosphere was kind of dive bar-y which was pretty nice. The prices were a bit high in my opinion though. The service wasn’t very good. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu as we were asking her questions about it. She brought the check right after we finished our food without asking if we needed anything else which I found it very odd and sloppy! Maybe she was new…“
“I'm not Chinese but I often see families here and I imagine this is what my friends always felt or talked about as a nostalgic time with their family eating a big pot of frogReally good tasting even tho I've only gotten the spicy frogStaff is very attentive and restaurant is just clean and nice to just sit chat and eatFeels nice and cozy to just be with friends for an hour eating a lot“
“It had been a long time since I'd been excited about Chinese food, but dining at Noodle Lane on a recent Sunday evening changed that completely. This is damn good food- intensely flavorful, surprising, beautifully presented. We have eaten take-out from Noodle Lane several times and always enjoyed- particularly the soup dumplings- which have to be tried to be believed- but dining in the restaurant made the food taste even more delicious. Along with dumplings and our noodle favorites- we tried two dishes that were new-to-us: Mala Dry Pot with shrimp, and Pickled Fish Sichuan Style. Mala Dry Pot was chock full of things I love- crunch from cauliflower and veg, tofu, sesame, and a delicious sauce, despite the word "dry" in the dish name. The Pickled Fish was unlike anything I've ever had- tart and spicy at the same time, but not too hot, so that the flavors shone through. We had a side of green and fresh seasonal veg and enjoyed a nice Gruner Veltliner with the meal- cooling and bright paired with the bold flavors. Throughout the evening, the service was professional and warm, though the staff was hopping with lots of tables filled and lots of take-out orders being prepared. We were near the kitchen- which has a big window to see where the magic takes place- in a cozy corner. Noodle Lane is such a great addition to the neighborhood- though also worth coming to from afar. The interior is bright and modern but also cozy; a comfortable space for a gathering of two or three friends; and also nice for families. Our kid loves the food! We enjoyed the neighborliness of the restaurant and seeing people we knew, having a short-but-sweet conversation before they left. Our experience dining at Noodle Lane came at the end of an incredibly busy period and it was so nice to simply sit back, relax, and be treated to amazing food. You should come treat yourselves, too!“
“at this point i’ve been to every xian in the city and they’re all consistently the best dishes at the most banging price points with a staff that hustles harder than any other food that’s this delicious but just so happens to be fast. dumplings five star. noodles next level perfect. and the lamb burger was better than i “
“Wow is all I need to say. The food is delicious and they give you a generous portion. My mom loves the string bean chicken and Wendy was able to accommodate her with less sodium. I love lo mein without veggies and that was possible too. Price for two lunch specials is like $20-$21!! The service is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I commute 30 minutes here and it's definitely worth it! God bless your establishment, Taste of China!“
“Wow that mapo tofu with beef was so delicious!! It’s a take out spot, not sure it was once a restaurant as it looked nice inside even with it being blocked. It was very filling, it was a deep bowl filled with mapo tofu beef and some greens and sauce. With white rice. It can easily be missed, the sign they have is not really good. If you know, and if I lived very close, it would be hard not to want to come at least once a week. Amazing value in a very built up part of town. The lady who took my order and gave me my food and utensils was very pleasant.“
“Everything we ordered was Amazing from the broccoli and bok choy to the pork soup dumplings and all the other dumplings we ordered. the shumai was the best we've ever had!!! we will for sure be coming back to Brooklyn for more soup dumplings!!!“
“Best Chinese food I've had in a long while. Thank you for the amazing service, food, and drinks!! Everything was cooked just right and very delicious. The bar was a great place to be, very friendly and great bartender. The tea was so good too.Parking: It wasn't hard to find parking nearby.“
“Atmosphere is a dump. But that’s not why you go here. You come for the great dumplings for 1/10th the price of NYC restaurants. Amazing dumplings! Life Hack: buy a bag of 50 dumplings for around $12 and keep them frozen. Plan fry at home as needed!!!!“
“Overall rating: 4.5I didn’t realize this was a chain when I visited. Clean area and nice service. Not a place to sit down, but rather to go. I had the Szechuan braised beef and it is SPICY. I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. I could come back to try another, less spicy dish, if I’m in the area.Definitely more a lunch to-go spot, than anything else. Recommend giving it a try.“
“Love this place. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area! Dumplings are on point and there's a great variety. Hand made and quite reasonable. already fresh good - a little higher in price in terms of Chinese food but you get what you pay for in quality and taste. The people are friendly and its a nice atmosphere.“
“One of my favorite hotpot places in NYC! One of my criteria for judging a hotpot place is their fish fillet. Some other places have fish fillet that’s super fishy, but this place has super tender and fresh fish. The prices and service were great!“
“Absolutely delicious hidden gem. Vibrant and fragrant dishes from the Xi’ang region. Lots of cumin and peppers ! I heard they were most celebrated for their cumin lamb pulled noodles which were absolutely delicious. I got “regular” spice and it was pretty spicy , but enjoyable ! There is an option to tone down the spice if you prefer but I recommend eating them how the house classically prepares them!I also got the cucumbers which were crunchy spicy and addicting.I will absolutely be returning , my food was ready quickly“
“Came here for the second time, no matter how spicy it is. The two of us ordered hot and sour noodles, boiled fish, Maoxuewang, and soup-filled meat pot stickers. Eat them all! They're all delicious, no surprises. There are so many food options on 8th Ave, I’m not disappointed?“
“Guys u need to get the mango puddingMy biggest regret in life is not eating more of the mango pudding I should’ve eaten enough to make me so full I projectile vomit everywhere it’s the best thing I’ve ever had in my life I need it so bad I still dream about it to this day pls add it to ur Menu pls. Can I just buy it like that pls I need it hahhhhhg pleas I need it so bad PLEAAASEEE“
“food tastes amazing!!! the chinese food is great and the buffet looks nice. as usual i ordered the beef noodle soup and it didn't disappoint me... there were plump pieces of beef, carrots, vegetables, thick noodles, and the most wonderful salty soup. the wontons also tasted good but the wonton skin was too thick, it could be good for dumplings but not wontons. the bowls are huge so we ate some here and took them back home. this place is also pretty crowded in the mall and you might have to wait for people to finish eating to sit down. ???? ?“
“I order delivery from Seamless and it's the best Chinese food option IMHO as an Asian person living far from Queens. I started off ordering some quick lunches of comfort food--just the fried chicken with fried rice. And wow was I surprised at how succulent the chicken was! It wasn't dried out! It was flavorful! It tasted better than fried chicken I've paid twice for! Recently we ordered Singapore noodles, General Tso's chicken, and Kung Pao bean curd. All delicious. The GT was a little soupy (I like it on the drier side) but all were soooooo yum. All in all I wouldn't sleep on this place; it's a solid choice when you're looking for a quick, cheap, Chinese food meal.“
“Been coming here for years and I'm always satisfied with the food. I moved to Buffalo, and everytime I come to Brooklyn, I have to get their food. I have a lot extra, so I take it with me to Buffalo. The staff is friendly. No disappointments.“
“This place has fantastic dumplings, but the pork soup is what killed my vibe with this place. I give it 4 stars because it is a dumpling spot and the soup takes that one star away. Meat was like rubber and the broth tastes watered down. Dumplings yes, soup is a no for me.“
“Been coming here for YEARS. Never disappoints. Consistently amazing food!! Literally everything on this menu hits the spot. One of my absolute favorite places. So happy that as a vegetarian I can anything here !!Vegetarian options: One of the best places to get vegetarian Asian food!!! Enjoyed by vegetarians, vegans, and non vegetarians alike.“
“This food is absolutely delicious and a great value! I always do delivery/takeout, and the food never misses. Everyone there is super friendly, they’re very quick, and the prices are great. Their $11 combo (entree, fried rice & eggroll) is amazing and usually lasts me two meals. They also have some of the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had. 10/10 for sure!“
“I go to this place to order roast pork, duck, etc. all the time. This place is average, not the best and not the worst. I do recommend the salt and pepper pork chops (delicious). For some reason, I ordered over the phone for 1/2 pound roasted pork (half fat/half lean) but when I got home it was all lean. I was very disappointed and I knew it would be pointless to complain. Service is above average at the establishment.“
“A++++ I usually never eat Chinese take out, it's greasy, unsettling and just overall experience. But this place is sooo different, I decided to give it a try after a reviewer said it non greasy. I ordered coconut shrimp with pork fried rice. It tasted good, well made. O man, the portions were huge!! How the heck they give you more than 20 shrimps for 12$. I feel bad, because how is this place making money. To the restaurant owner/chief: thank you for being so kind but please be sensible lol on how much you serve because you need to make a profit too.“
“Easily the best Chinese take out in the neighborhood! Good quality and great value! Though admittedly my girlfriend and I only ordered from one other place. Nonetheless, when I opened up the General Tso's chicken and roast pork lo mein combo platters, and the crab rangoons, the aromas hit my eye like a big pizza pie.The portions were generous (with more than enough leftovers for another meal for the both of us). The fried rice was fragrant. The noodles were well-seasoned and sauced. The rangoons were crispy, slightly sweet, and not overwhelmingly heavy. What else can I say? My girlfriend, who comes from a family of Chinese take out restaurants, gave her seal of approval. Even though they forgot our soda, the food is worth five stars! We will be coming back for more!“
“On the way to another cheong fun shop, we were driving by this cart and saw the long line of Chinese aunties waiting, so we had to stop by here instead (it's practically authenticity-certified, how could you say no?). While the long was long, it goes by pretty fast considering they make each dish as it is ordered. The ladies running to shop don't speak much English, but they're pretty patient and nice. The shop (from what I remember) only takes cash, so remember to take note before stopping by. My boyfriend and I ordered the shrimp and beef rolls and they were so delicious. We were also offered spicy sauce and soy sauce which really enhanced the flavor. Prices here were also unbelievable for the quality and portion you're getting (a small can easily fill me up). Highly recommend supporting this small business.“
“It's such a hidden gem! The quality of the food was good. The service was good. I got the original crossing bridge noodles and my companion got the kimchi crossing bridge noodles. The kimchi crossing bridge noodle was good that I'm considering getting it next time. It's not as spicy as I thought it would be. Its my preference that the place is small, but cozy which was great for the cold weather.“
“I been going to this place for many years now and they still have all the best dishes, also if there's anything that you feel that's not on their menu they have know problem making that dish for you Thank you China Tang kitchen for being in my neighborhood.“
“The food here is soooo good. I pass by so many times but barely notice it. But I’m so glad I finally went in. I got the wok fried flat noodles with shrimp and it was so yummy — shrimp cooked to perfection and the noodles were tasty, and the portion big enough to share. I wasn’t a fan of the veggie dumplings but I loved the crystal shrimp — the best I ever had (more please). Mom got the famous HK clay pot rice with fresh sliced beef. It takes about 20 mins to come but it was so worth the wait.“
“Letter grade from the city: AClean: YesService: Polite, efficient, & fastI discovered this place about 2 weeks ago, & have already ordered takeout 4 times!! I have bought the lunch special once, & the combination platter special 3 times, plus wonton egg drop in addition twice as well. Each time I placed an order it was for either two or three people, & each time the order was ready in 8~15 minutes! Very quick! Every person would be happy with their order, feeling full & satisfied. The prices are good for the generous portion sizes, & the food is indeed very yummy! ? All of the food is well seasoned & never dry.I highly recommend this place for Chinese takeout local to the neighborhood.“
“Heard this was the best place for Chinese in the area. While there were a lot of choices on the menu, I opted for the chicken and Chinese sausage hot pot with hoisen sauce. It sounded wonderful but it was lacking Chinese sausage. I had three pepperoni sized slices. While it lacked Chinese sausage, I'm glad I love mushrooms because it had tons. My friend had human beef. It had good flavor.Of note has the horrible taste of the water. Not sure if all Sarasota has bad tasting water but it was nasty.I will try one more time and get the soup a d will bring my own bottle water to drink.“
“I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Grill on Lee, a kosher restaurant in Brooklyn, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic!**Pulled Beef Salad Perfection:**I opted for the pulled beef salad, and it exceeded all expectations. The beef was incredibly tender, and when paired with the fresh salad, it created a delightful symphony of flavors. If you're in Brooklyn and craving top-notch service paired with mouthwatering dishes, Grill on lee is the go-to spot. Highly recommended!“
“Ok, the food is great, the portion is large and the price is good. It is also important that they have an A in health and exquisite flavor! It is unfortunate to see someCustomers treat staff badly. I imagine everything the girl must endure.“
“10 mins for 2 orders of noodles and 1 duck dumplings. The duck dumpling dough is purple and extremely soft and squishy. Like mochi but without the extreme stickiness and without choking to death. The beef braized soup has flat chunks of beef similar to oxtail. I assume it's a meat that's normally tough but is cooked to be softer.Food is light and savory. 10/10 I reccomend this spot for anyone making a big journey to this complex.“
“The best chinese food in the neighborhood. Pickup only, no delivery. There is no point in calling in an order because they dont start cooking it until you get there to pick it up. I always have to wait, and place my order again as though I never ordered it in the first place.“
“Great east Asian halal food here, the service is really good as well. The only negative is there's no seating available and they don't accept cards, but the food made up for the lack of tech and seats. I highly recommend this restaurant take outDietary restrictions: Everything is halal here.“
“This place is so good! Such a solid neighborhood staple. As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised at how good all the plant-based dishes are (trying to cut back on how much meat I eat). The portions are generous too, and it's a nice change from some of the greasier Chinese food I eat. The lady who works at the front counter is super sweet - always nice chatting with her. The food always comes out hot and fast! Smoothies are great too.“
“Umi Premium Sushi & Seafood Buffet offers an exquisite dining experience with a vast selection of fresh sushi and seafood. The ambiance is inviting, and the staff are attentive and friendly. From the beautifully presented dishes to the top-notch service, every visit to Umi is a delightful culinary adventure.“
