“Brooklyn's Xiang Tian Xia Seafood Hot Pot in New York offered an enchanting culinary journey that left an indelible mark on our dining experience. Gathering with friends today, we decided to explore this highly acclaimed hot pot establishment, and after the experience, we are convinced it is a dining destination not to be missed.Firstly, upon entering Xiang Tian Xia, we were greeted by the rich aroma of hot pot, instantly transporting us to a gastronomic wonderland. The pervasive fragrance filled the entire space, tantalizing our taste buds. Seated at our table, the warmth and professionalism of the staff further impressed us. Their enthusiastic and knowledgeable service enhanced our overall dining experience. The variety of hot pot ingredients was overwhelming, presenting a cornucopia of options. Fresh seafood laid out on ice trays, an array of neatly arranged vegetables – from prawns and fish fillets to assorted mushrooms and leafy greens, each exuding an enticing aroma. This extensive selection allowed us to indulge in the diversity of hot pot, offering a plethora of flavor choices. The hot pot broth displayed remarkable ingenuity. In addition to the traditional clear broth and spicy broth, Xiang Tian Xia featured various innovative flavors like tomato soup and curry broth. Opting for the signature spicy broth, it provided a perfect balance of heat and deliciousness, adding layers to the entire hot pot experience. The clear broth offered a refreshing taste, enriching the dining process with a spectrum of flavors.Throughout the entire dining experience, the service staff not only patiently answered our questions but also consistently monitored our dining satisfaction. Prompt and precise responses to refilling water cups or replenishing ingredients showcased their attentiveness. This thoughtful service made us feel like honored guests throughout the meal.“

She came around and served us hot tea and free dishes!!! Such a sweet sweet human. Would come here just to see and support her!!! We got the beef noodles (AMAZINGGGG, noodle texture was perfect and soup was so well flavored), three cup chicken (fried chicken texture with sweet/savory sauce coating), shrimp egg (SO UMAMI it's crazy), shacha beef, sweet and sour soup...all delicious!! i recommend them all! you can't go wrong here. “Steam Box Rice Roll has been on my radar for quite some time now, but I've always been hesitant to go in since I've read that the wait can take up to 40 mins. Thankfully, when my sister and I passed by yesterday, the place was empty, so after grabbing drinks next door, we finally tried Steam Box.The establishment itself is on the smaller side, sparsely decorated, but immaculate, with two small tables against both the left and right walls. Larger parties of 3 or 4 will have difficulty finding seating, but the tables are perfect for smaller parties of 1 to 2.Upon entering, we greeted the staff and asked if we could dine in. After getting the okay, we ordered at the counter. I ordered the Curry Fish Ball Steam Rice Roll with Green Onions for myself, while my sister ordered the Beef Steam Rice Roll with Cilantro. We could've finished there, but my sister, being the chatty person she is, asked the staff what else was popular. At that point, the heat was getting to me, and I felt like bashing a certain someone, but I reined myself in. The staff, on the other hand, was super nice and answered that the Pork and Beef Steam Rice Rolls were the most popular rolls. She also highly recommended the Char Siu Steam Rice Roll and Shrimp w/ Salted Egg Yolk Steam Rice Roll, so we got one of the Char Siu Steam Rice Rolls with Cilantro too. I also asked my sister repeatedly if she wanted an egg (because I wanted it!), but the little dummy didn't get the hint and said no...Anyhow, the service was fast and our order came out in a matter of minutes. The rice rolls were soft, chewy, and incredibly tender, almost like silk; and, while the rice rolls themselves were relatively mild in flavor, they paired perfectly with the delicious fillings and condiments. The Char Siu surprisingly ended up being my favorite rice roll, as it was the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and umami taste profiles, but the Beef came in close second. The Curry Fish Ball was slightly bland and on the lighter side, but otherwise still okay.I look forward to coming back and trying some of their other rice rolls, next time with corn and egg!“

“I work nearby so my coworkers and I order from here often, about once a week or so. We prefer this takeout restaurant over the other ones in the area. I usually order by phone and so far, never got an incorrect order. That's always a plus! I believe that the one who answers the phone is also the main cook. Since it's often a one man show, please remember to be patient and kind. My usual go to is the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special with a side of Coke! The flavor is always consistent and delicious. My workplace ordered a tray of Fried Chicken and Lo Mein a few times over the past few years and it was just what staff needed. I did see that they also sell fresh fruits in a container (pineapple and watermelon) for about $2. The price is very cheap compared to the other Chinese takeout places that I've visited. Perfect combination with thick hand ripped noodles bathed in lots of spices broth. It's not for the weak. It tastes like home in an unfamiliar place! I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. It tasted better than fried chicken I've paid twice for! Recently we ordered Singapore noodles, General Tso's chicken, and Kung Pao bean curd. All delicious. I ended up opting the beef brisket noodle soup + wonton noodle soup for take out and it was immediately ready by the time I went to pick it up. Didn't have cash on me either, but luckily they accept card! The wontons were by far one of the best I've had. They were very plump with a generous amount of meat and shrimp. The meat was seasoned very well and I enjoyed every bite of it. The beef brisket noodle soup was great too and they gave a lot of tender pieces of beef. I especially enjoyed the tendons that came with it. The broth itself was very warm and comforting. I wished the noodles were a little thinner and bouncier, but that's also just personal preference. For some reason, I ordered over the phone for 1/2 pound roasted pork (half fat/half lean) but when I got home it was all lean. I was very disappointed and I knew it would be pointless to complain. Service is above average at the establishment.“

“This food is absolutely delicious and a great value! I always do delivery/takeout, and the food never misses. Everyone there is super friendly, they’re very quick, and the prices are great. Their $11 combo (entree, fried rice & eggroll) is amazing and usually lasts me two meals. They also have some of the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had. 10/10 for sure!“

“Only one chef on the line. Very kind, but was scolded for "you have to call in first". Otherwise a great corner Chinese spot.Vegetarian options: Yes, ask.Kid-friendliness: There's a kid running around the restaurant all the time.Dietary restrictions: Just ask“

“Easily the best Chinese take out in the neighborhood! Good quality and great value! Though admittedly my girlfriend and I only ordered from one other place. Nonetheless, when I opened up the General Tso's chicken and roast pork lo mein combo platters, and the crab rangoons, the aromas hit my eye like a big pizza pie.The portions were generous (with more than enough leftovers for another meal for the both of us). The fried rice was fragrant. The noodles were well-seasoned and sauced. The rangoons were crispy, slightly sweet, and not overwhelmingly heavy. What else can I say? My girlfriend, who comes from a family of Chinese take out restaurants, gave her seal of approval. Even though they forgot our soda, the food is worth five stars! We will be coming back for more!“

“Wow! So happy after walking past this place over ten times I finally went in! I noticed on the weekends that it’s busy so I figured it’s a good sign..and I love dumplings and haven’t found very good ones in park slope so today I got 6 pork and shrimp to go. I was waiting for the bus and couldn’t possibly stop myself from eating them while I waited and YES! so delicious, tender, homemade with love and care, whole pieces of shrimp and juicy pork. Tasted super fresh, and worth the 10 minute wait. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Food (4 stars): I really enjoyed their beef noodle soup! The broth is not too salty or spicy. The meat is perfectly tender. Good amount of bok choy. Pretty solid for the price of $11 The restaurant is really small and casual. I would definitely come back for a quick bite.“

“- Fried Buns and wonton combo: I really enjoyed this combo. The wontons were big and very flavorful. The broth was very rich. The fried buns are essentially fried soup dumplings which is something new that i havn't seen been done before. - A4 Sour and spicy duck vermicelli noodle soup - I was not a fan of this, but may be my own personal preference. It had a bit of a kick to it but ultimately didn't like the sour soup.- Plum Juice- was refreshing but i've had better- Overall Yozi was a nice try, the food came out quick.- Order at the counter, Pay first. Pay cash to avoid paying tax“

“I’m so glad that they are only 2 mins away from my house. The nice lady at the front still remembers me after almost 10 years, when I was a teenager back then. My mother and I still go there even though my diet has adjusted. The food is delicious and the prices are really good for the portions. They also have good convenient hours and have been one of the few Chinese food places open late. Parking is hard in this area since it’s by the precinct and a bus stop so if you have a car, just call ahead and make your order. The only issue I have with them is that they don’t deliver and it’s cash only but there’s an ATM inside which is helpful“

“I ordered lunch special - Beef with broccoli and Wanton soup. If soup was a little off for my taste, beef was great, portion very large - same size as regular dish in the most Chinese places all for $9.95. Lady there was very nice and polite, food was done in ten minutes! Will go again next time.“
