“I discovered Oita about a year ago and I can’t get enough of it. The fish is high quality and tastes so incredibly fresh. Every piece of sashimi melts in your mouth. If this is your first time, you should definitely get the signature roll sampler. It’s fun to try all of their creations, all artfully presented. My favorite is the NY Crunch which has potato chips on a sushi roll! The restaurant is minimalistic and quiet, which is hard to find in NYC. You’re able to enjoy your food and actually hear the person across from you. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. This is definitely my go-to place when I want to splurge a little and treat myself.”
“Extremely welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. The service was very attentive and our server was both quick and entertaining to chat with. The food was quick as well with perfect portions sizes and a lovely range of flavor. We'll certainly be coming back here.”
“Great vegan and vegetarian options. They are good at doing modifications for vegans. Recommend the samosa chaatVegetarian options: Samosa chaat and many curries. Big vegetarian sectionDietary restrictions: Great vegan options and modifications”
“I go to Amituofo on a regular basis, whether it's alone for a quick bite or with friends and family, and I always have a great experience. The ambiance is absolutely amazing! You get to enjoy your meal immersed in plants and quiet music, which was just what I needed. The food was great, especially their kimchi fries which is very well seasoned and super freshly made. Service is usually quick as well, despite there usually being only one or two people working in the front. The young lady is very enthusiastic and is very well versed with the menu. Overall, a great place for a hangout with friends and family.”
“Man I thought I'd ate it all until I made my way to the crown jewel of pizzerias. This place was it , the pizza was New York style thin and full of beautiful flavors, it takes a while to make something this good so be patient . The service was great, the late owners son was super nice , I told him we were out here from Los Angeles. The ambiance reminded of me of Sal's pizzeria in the movie do the right thing . All that was missing was Mookie and Danny Aiello and sons . Great, great pizza , the very best .”
“Alhamdulillah Chinese Halal Foods Here...Marshallah Foods is delicious..I ordered Shrimp Elephant Much Spicy ?? Fried Rice and Mango Bubble Tea....Fantastic taste ..Parking: In the street parking was open and 18th Ave will be 2 hour meter parking...”
“This restaurant is amazing! The staff, ambiance, food & drinks are top-notch. The bar, seating area, and tables were extremely clean, the staff was friendly and welcome to sharing their recommendations, and the food came out very fast. I highly recommend ordering the Bau Buns, Chicken Pad Thai, and Watermelon Margarita.”
“In one word...remarkable. In many...Carlos is a fantastic and knowledgeable host. Chef Michael is clearly in his element here. The Kumamoto oyster was my favorite but the sea urchin with the seaweed oil was unforgettable as well. Ty for having me guys and I'll be sure to be back. ?”
“I put an order to pick up and the service was quick and efficient. But best of all was my order: Tofu Stew, to which I added beef. It was the warmest, heartiest, tastiest “soup” I’ve had in years. And they also add rice and really good kimchi. The portions are big! I could’ve easily share with someone. Definitely worthwhile the order and I’ll be back.”
“Very nice place. Atmosphere very nice. The food was so good. Drinks were good, water didn't taste weird. Service was great. Me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary and it wasn't too expensive but still so good. Would definitely go back.”
“Awesome food, great vibes from this new sushi spot in Sheepshead. Price is standard for sushi in the area but the flavors and presentation were really really great. Our favorite roll and definitely a must try was the sambal tartare!!! (no picture because we ate it too quick it was that good) and the fish in every roll was super fresh. Really great ambience for a date night spot and I recommend the sushi/sashimi platters if you want something with beautiful presentation, and arguably a better deal and quality than the rolls. Overall a great spot, definitely coming back”
“Absolutely loved this place! The attentive service continued throughout the evening, enhancing our dining experience. Our server, Daniel, guided us expertly through the menu. The soulmate roll, a delightful blend of flavors, the red carpet roll, an exquisite culinary creation, and the salmon nigiris, each a testament to the freshness of the ingredients, left us thoroughly satisfied!I extend my gratitude to the server for the impeccable recommendations and assistance in selecting the perfect bottle of cold sake. The seamless reservation process and prompt seating on a bustling Friday night added to the overall positive impression. I look forward to returning to this sushi haven and savoring more of their delectable offerings!”
“We've been going here for lunch for years. Yesterday was the worst service we've had so far. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, but we had to ASK for water, we had to ASK to order. Not sure where the wait staff that's been there for a while is but they need to get them back.”
“I have been to Okinawa a few times. We also ordered for delivery to my job. There sushi here is delicious and so fresh . I ordered the sweet potato tempura and the avocado rolls. They are delicious. The owners are the sweetest people. Always so friendly and so kind. Thank you for the delicious sushi and being such nice people. You make going there such a pleasure. Highly recommend!”
“Lovely ramen shop. Nice flavorful ramen and perfect consistency with their noodles! You don't feel too full with their ramen which is nice.We ordered the bunburger and Charsiu Ramen both were delicious. The chasu (pork belly) were particularly yummy. This ramen personally is my favorite as it's lightly salted and not as fatty as other ramen I've eaten. I didn't get bloated afterward, which is always a win.The service was quick as well and the employees were nice. Will be coming back here when I am in the area again!”
“Always love how refreshing the bowls are! Very filling while also not feeling too heavy, and everything tastes freshly made. I work nearby so it was very important that the order was ready on time, and it was a pleasant and swift pickup. Thanks!”
“Overall, the service and staff were very nice and attentive. Ambiance is comfortable and quiet. Ordered japchae with beef, pancit, lechon and fresh lumpia along with a Makku. The japchae was delicious with beef with deep searing. By far the best dish. The lechon is just as others have described- juicy and crispy with a great sauce. The pancit was a little boring but we couldn't tell if it was because we were eating it with japchae. The fresh lumpia was different. Mostly tasted of Napa cabbage and other crunchy veggies. But the Makku- what a delicious beverage. I will definitely be looking for that in stores. I would recommend a visit if you are interested in delicious lechon and japchae.”
“this used to be a staple for me when i worked in the area, but thankfully sometimes i still get to drop by when visiting friends who live in the neighborhood or am picking up random facebook marketplace finds :)i've had various sandwiches and congee, which have been solid overall (though, as some reviewers have mentioned, be aware that the congee might deviate a little from the norm).however, i think my real favorite items on maya's menu are their drinks. i always make sure to order a milk tea, both hot or cold - on this most recent visit, i tried the chai honey milk tea. sooo good. i highly recommend that whatever you get, you order it with a refreshing, lightly sweetened drink that still somehow feels healthy and clean.”
“Kiku is a Japanese Quizine Quality Restaurant. They are family oriented, kid friendly and extremely neighborly. My family have been eating in as well as ordering out for years. I Highly recommend Kiku for a date night out or change in taste.”
“The food is always great from this place. I am a regular and have enjoyed many of the menu items.I am not fond of the atmosphere. The place looks run down and from the outside it looks closed most of the time. Despite it being run down the place is clean and the service has always been good.”
“We were going to an event at a bookstore nearby and decided to have dinner beforehand and Nourish looked like a nice place and was conveniently right across the street. It has a small but cute dining room with mostly two-tops and a huge flower decor hanging from the ceiling and front sliding windows that can be fully opened. There is also a quite permanent looking covered outdoor section on the sidewalk in front. They still have paper menus if you want otherwise can scan a code for contactless ordering. We were in a bit of a hurry but it all worked out because the food came really quickly. We had three appetizers - the fried fish cakes were super delicious - and three entrees - one from the special menu, sautéed shrimps in an edible crispy basket - the food was just perfect for 4 people. Everything's delicious and mildly spicy with just the right amount of heat. This will be a good place to return to next time we are in the area.”
“Wordless dinning experience. Food is fantastic & service is superb. I got Hot&sour mushu cabbage that is delicious. Also highly recommend sizzling black pepper beef and Char siu rib bites. Nice stylish Asian fusion in the neighborhood with bar and dinning one stop.”
“Once you walk in, the place gives you a cool industrial feel. The food came out quickly and the staff were friendly. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and the crispy duck bao. Great portions and tasty! Looks great for a date night and the cocktails sound spectacular”
“Location: 4521 Ave N,Brooklyn N.Y. 11234Service: Pretty good nothing really special but they are quick to serve and respond.Ambiance: Quite clean and tidy. Inside is cozy and spacious.Food: Super satisfied. I'll put the description in each photo so you know what food we ordered. 4 SPICE WINGS- non spicy but superrr good, non creamy sweet and sour sauce, crispy like the calamari and flavorful from outside to inside meat. BO LUC LAC-- oh this one was cooked well, the sauce was super good paired with the veggies and the steak. It makes you eat more haha. You DEFINITELY should try. Great Vietnamese food experience. Highly recommend and worth your money!!”
“I've ordered delivery from Wangs for a number of years now and their food is always solid. I usually get 3 Chicken Wings, with a side of the cucumbers and a couple Foco mango juices. If you're wondering if 3 wings is enough to fill you up, it IS! I've also had the Mac and cheese (delicious) and the side salad. The chicken is consistently really good. The hotter sauce is definitely hotter, so I only order that occasionally and usually do Mild. The chicken is juicy, crispy and always arrives hot. This is also one of the few places that sells the Foco mango juice which, if you know, you know!”
“I loved Gulya service at the Sky Wise. She was the sweetest and super attentive to our needs. She was so sweet to my mom on her birthday and she will never forget. I appreciate her very much. The restaurant was such a vibe, the ambiance, performances, music and food. It’s a great place to celebrate!”
“I been going here for years. The customer service is always great. The food is great. The drinks are great. What else can you ask for? Best avocado and shrimp tempura sushi I ever had in my life.Vegetarian options: Veggie options are so wonderful. Spicy edamame is delicious and avocado sushi with the soy sauce.”
“Been eating here for almost 4 years, the food is always good, my personal favorite is Hibachi combo, salmon and beef, miso soup is the best I had, and I been to other places that serve miso soup, none can get it quite right, best miso soup. Service is amazing, always feeling welcome and everybody is mad friendly. I even forgot my keys there for 2 weeks and they gave it to me the next time I was there, you’ll get your money worth every time. Definitely dine in because it’s so homey”
“The Gram had me out on a rainy Sunday because I liked what I saw, so off my friend and I went to Somethin' On Myrtle. The place has a clean, classic, almost speakeasy kind of look and was a bit smaller than expected but the ambiance, Higasa and Maigasa umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, and the DJ, was cool. But the shining light was our server, Everlon. Was there only one person making the drinks? Was that same person cooking the food? The wait time was considerable but Everlon kept us abreast of the situation and was pleasant the entire time we were there. She could teach a course on good customer service, she was amazing. The drinks were right when we got 'em! Flavorful and a delicious blend of spirits that will creep up on you if you are not careful so please, DRINK RESPONSIBLY.The food was tasty and fresh. We ordered the Oxtail Dumplings and the Jerk Chicken Sayta. I was aware before I entered the place that the Oxtail Dumplings were the star of the show but that Jerk Chicken took its spot. Spicy and full of flavor, the jerk wasn't overbearing in any way. The chicken was moist and I was miffed they only had four skewers - I wanted more. The three dumplings were also good, though I did expect them to be more savory. The only "downside" I would say about the whole experience is that we almost didn't tip Everlon. We read the 18% Service Charge as the gratuity built in but it turns out that goes toward the restaurant - luckily we asked before we left.As it stands this place is fairly new but if you're looking for a different take on some West Indian classics then you should head on out because there is Somethin' on Myrtle.”
“This is my local sit down sushi restaurant for several years and then since the pandemic, I've continued to get takeout there and they've been really vigilant about keeping their employees healthy and there is no inside eating anymore. I miss that but I'm not ready to eat in anyway and I love the takeout lunch specials and the people there are so nice and they always know me like you do if it's your local restaurant I highly recommend it it's pretty great sushi for the price.”
“Pleasant Chinese restaurant across from Pratt. Nothing fancy, casual dining. We had a nice waitress. The guy who brought food out seemed unhappy, almost slamming our dishes on the table. The sichuan fish in broth was flavorful and nicely done. My cold noodles with chicken were a little too dry but not bad. Dumplings in red oil, pretty tasty. Eggplant appetizer, decent flavor but seemed like it was left in the microwave too long (?), basically almost disintegrating when picked up. Definitely seemed precooked.”
“Order: Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, Thai Tea, and Thai Iced CoffeeThe food was delicious and it came out in a very timely manner. I wished I had stayed at the restaurant to eat because the decorations are really nice. I would come here again. Thank you to the staff for being extremely sweet, respectful, and professional!”
“Korean fried chicken has been my pick for fried chickens in the past few years, but @pecking_house definitely brings a very interesting twist to the food with popular flavors in Chinese and Taiwanese restaurants such as chili and salted egg.I preferred the salted egg fried chicken because I’m a s***** for all things salted egg!Favorite side dish was actually the corn bread - it was so good and different from the usuals with that apple honey taste! Dirty fried rice comes in second for me!”
“It was a rainy day so the restaurant was very quiet and calm, just how I like it. I took my hubby and my kids to the restaurant to celebrate his birthday, so it felt very intimate. The food was AMAZING, the oxtail rolls were delicious and my daughter loved the orange chili chicken wings. The music was nice, not too loud. Overall it was great experience and I would definitely recommend to friends!”
“This our second time dinning at LaMode. The first was amazing. The food.. the service ... the vibe. The second time with Tracey as our host/waiter was by far was even more special. I, 100% recommend the steamed Snapper. Wow Many thanks for your service ~ Max and Alexander”
“Came here with a medium sized group for an early dinner. Coming with the group gave me the opportunity to try a variety of sushi, sashimi, and rolls. I didn't have any complaints. The most interesting item I tried was the crispy duck roll. I liked the fusion of various East Asian influences. They have two private dining rooms in the back with smart TVs making it convenient for small events or meetings. They had two gendered single occupancy restrooms; the one I used was handicap accessible.”
“They have a cat robot deliver the food in house. So cool for kids at heart. Food was great loved chicken dumpling soup pouches. Vegetarian dumplings also good.Vegetarian options: Veggie dumplings were great.Kid-friendliness: Robot talks and comes to your table.”
“Nice service, interesting layout of the place, and ok food. Waitress was lovely and very attentive. The layout was cool since it's 3 large picnic tables to share with others - cool concept for having dinner with a laaaarge group. The bombs (right of pic) were very good in my opinion. The sushi was also good but I prefer the bombs better. Will def come back if i ever wasn't to go out for a quick bite.”
“You know what would make this restaurant amazing? Air conditioning in the summer time. The food is delicious. I adore the tacos! I also LOVE the kimchi fried rice with a fried egg & bulgogi. This place is too cute & the service is always wonderful. Thank You for existing!”
“A bowl of noodle soup always hits the spot especially with the cold weather approaching. I was overwhelmed with the amount of options they had because they all sounded really good. I ended up opting the beef brisket noodle soup + wonton noodle soup for take out and it was immediately ready by the time I went to pick it up. Didn't have cash on me either, but luckily they accept card! The wontons were by far one of the best I've had. They were very plump with a generous amount of meat and shrimp. The meat was seasoned very well and I enjoyed every bite of it. The beef brisket noodle soup was great too and they gave a lot of tender pieces of beef. I especially enjoyed the tendons that came with it. The broth itself was very warm and comforting. I wished the noodles were a little thinner and bouncier, but that's also just personal preference. Would def come back when I'm craving something comforting and filling.”
“Ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats app. It was less than 30 minutes before closing and they still took my order. I ordered chicken satay and crab pad thai. My food arrived hot. I'm at work tonight so I only had time to try the chicken satay so far...the chicken was perfectly cooked. The seasoning is authentic and so flavorful. The real star was the peanut sauce, one word amazing!!! The reviews steered me in the right direction. I will definitely order again! I will update my review later about the crab pad Thai.”
“The Food Presentation and Flavor are 10/10The Vibe is without Question 10/10I had the Pleasure of Meeting the Owners and they’re Amazing Warm Welcoming and Truly Treat you Like Family! An Absolutely Great Addition to the Neighborhood!!Everyone at The Monkey Kingswe had the Pleasure of Meeting were Awesome!Thank You Guys it was a Pleasure!Welcome and I Look Forward to All Future Endeavors!!Much Love and Well Wishes!!!”
