“I go here often for lunch. Plenty of variety, and fairly quick service. I always get the ribs from Tejas + kids mac n cheese. Everything else was good too, but the Thai food here is lacking (they used italian pasta for the pad see eew (not rice noodles) and pasta was very al dente both times i tried here). Havent seen if they improved for that restaurant yet but I always come back for Tejas!“

“It really does not get better than this. Came on a Saturday night with my girlfriends at 9pm (prior reservation) and had a blast. The service was great, served came by plenty of times to refill our water. The sushi was amazing!!!

The live show by this magnificent trio deserves all the accolades in the world. I have not seen any other restaurant where people got up from their tables to dance to each song. This place is perfect for birthday celebrations or any kind of milestone celebration.

“This Cambodian-Japanese place is well crafted with very unique and classic dishes as someone who grew up in Japan. The vegetarian curry with katsu tofu was incredible and the Peri Peri tofu lunch set is delicious. Great service and well kept and run. Will go again because I have tried the vegetarian ramen before and it was amazing, diverse toppings and great umami flavor.

“First time dining at Monkey King and from the minute I stepped in to the restaurant to the minute I left, I LOVED everything!! Manasi, Ian, Thieanna, Kat, Lance, Raj, and Alexa really contributed to making my experience amazing. Thieanna recommended a drink and even changed it up a bit to my liking and it was SO GOOD (I’m picky about alcohol) Kat also had great suggestions for food and I LOVED every single one of them. Everyone’s energy and the ambiance was so lovely. The place is beautiful and they definitely deserve that auto grat+ more.

The mushrooms are a MUST! The cucumbers were refreshing, the shrimp toast was so good with that sauce it comes with!“

On calling, Cameron answered my phone and held onto it until my partner could return to collect it.
I’m due to fly home to Australia on Monday. Had Cameron not ensured my phone was safe, my last days in NYC could have been awful. But now my overriding memory will be of the friendliness, honestly and helpfulness of the wonderful New Yorkers I have met.

“It is one of popular Asian cuisine in sheepshead bay . It is very clean restaurant. We have been there since they were opened. We never have any issues with food . “Went here in the mid afternoon in a Sunday and it was a perfect t lunch. The restaurant decor is ADORABLE. The menu is creatively designed and had good options. My friend is vegetarian and had a good variety to choose from. I am not vegetarian and also did not feel limited at all. I had the beef pad Thai and it was DELICIOUS. My friend had the garlic sauce with tofu and veg and that was also flavorful. Both main dishes had large portions. Drinks were good! Service was friendly and good too! The menu has many options from appetizers, sushi, sashimi, omakase & Asian food Plus the sake & beer options compliment the authentic cuisine. The well-informed staff are attentive & fun. Spring roll was your usual the but the tofu soup was great and very flavor. The green was curry was INCREDIBLE. Full of flavor with a hint of spice. The chicken was nice and soft. Very filling and absolutely worth the visit.“

We had a mushroom appetizer where you could grill the mushrooms yourself over a small grill and it was really fun. The staff are very nice and conversational- the waiter explained to us the history and traditions surrounding the mushrooms and gave us great advice on what drinks to pair them with.
