“Love the chill atmosphere and the food. Service was great. I’m not big on spicy food so I ordered the naked fried chicken which came with a separate chilli dipping sauce, I tried the chicken with the sauce and it was actually a nice mix. It wasn’t too spicy which my stomach was able to handle. I also highly recommend the cheddar cornbread and dirty fried rice!“

“We had a lovely time at Chino Grande - all the food was rich, flavorful, and unique. We shared the avocado salad, congee croquettes, char Siu bites for appetizers and then the garlic coconut noodles, hot & sour mushu cabbage, shrimp saltado, and rice & beans combo. It was hard to pick a favorite dish but the congee croquettes and mushu cabbage were definitely a highlight. Great place for family style eating, with inventive cocktails - I’ll be back!“

“my best friend brought me here to celebrate my birthday and it was such an amazing time! when I say everything was great... the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere. we ordered a little bit of everything and it was all very delicious. we got 3 different sushi rolls, oxtail dumplings, octopus, and the best ceviche I have had!! the coconut mojito, lychee martini, and sun clap were also such delicious drinks! coming back very soon and telling everyone about it.“

“The food here is toooo good I’m obsessed. Everything is delicious, I had the chicken Tikka missala, the butter chicken, cheese naan, mango lassi and rose lassi. Everything I’ve had here has been incredible. The server was also really kind he gave us a sample of dessert and allowed my friend to sample the rose lassi before she bought it. Came on a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain each part of the Thali we got.

Food:
- veg thali (4/5) - this is definitely a good bang for your buck, given that you can ask for refills. My favorite was the pea dish.
- veg jhol mojos (4.5/5) - nice deep flavor, the momos were solid. I’d be curious to try the chili ones and the fried ones next time.
- mango lassi (5/5) - everything you want mango lassi to be.

“I cannot recommend Ikigai enough for the amazing food, beautiful ambiance and thoughtful service. Chef Rafal’s dishes are masterpieces, and you can tell each dish was created with so much attentiveness and love. Every dish was wonderful, but I was especially impressed how dishes that I normally don’t enjoy (like mackerel) were transformed into being a dish that I really enjoyed!“

“This place is incredible. The trick is going to be to resist coming by everyday. We got the “Wake Me Up” congee (pictured). It was perfection. They have house made chili oil to use at the tables. The Hong Kong Coffee Tea was divine. I usually drink my coffee black but this was a treat. You taste the Earl Grey tea essence and the condensed milk tames the bitterness of the espresso without making it too sweet.“

“I live around the corner and had such a lovely time here, I will absolutely be coming back. The rolls, especially eel, were delicious, and so was the Green tea tiramisu for dessert. Also had great sake, and all this was for a reasonable price and in a beautiful setting. And the chef who is a special guest chef on Sundays only does the most amazing brunch! Bottomless mimosas for $20 sets the mood. Hoka available. And then there's the food which was an epic culinary celebration! We had the stuffed shrimp, the blackened salmon and both over grits which were creamy, flavorful and delicious! Sushi was average but on par to others that offer the same special rolls in the area. Nothing too special but we loved that it was super spacious inside

We got the maki special tray B that comes with 10 special rolls for put party of 5 adults +2 kids

There’s also a separate omakase menu that we did not get to try but it does have a pretty decent price point so I wouldn’t mind going back to check that out next time.“

“Non-terrible standard powdered tea boba flavors (Thai tea, Original / Black milk tea / Taro / etc.) with non-terrible tapioca bubbles / boba, at least when I went in the morning (~1130a), not the freshest I've ever had but not bad. Price was reasonable as well for powdered bubble tea.They also had a standard machine to mix/shake the powder+tea and a sealing machine for the top so you can take the bubble tea home in your bag without worries about spilling if desired.Wandering around the neighborhood looking for bubble tea, saw a review mentioning bubble tea in the Chinese restaurant a few stores down, they sent me here.“
