“Had a great experience at Toast x Bowl! I ordered the Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and it was absolutely fire. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I also tried the Passion Fruit Pear Fizz, which was super refreshing and paired really well with the meal. We also shared the shrimp rice bowl and truffle fries, and both were just as delicious.

The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had a really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and everything came out fresh and looked amazing. You can tell they care about the quality of the food.

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Hoboken now. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!“

“Really good food, the crepe cakes aren’t halal friendly though (they use beef gelatin) so make sure to ask. I got the banana split and mango w/ rice balls. I loved everything I got and I didn’t feel the “sugary sick” I usually get when I eat desserts outside. Robert approved“

“I absolutely love Purple Rice! The food here is consistently delicious and always worth it. Even though I live in Midtown Hoboken, I find myself stopping by often just to eat here. Everything I’ve tried has been so satisfying. The staff is also very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and great service—you won’t be disappointed!“

“The service provided at the restaurant is excellent; the staff were always smiling. I arrived without knowing what to order, as I’m not very familiar with Asian cuisine, but I absolutely loved the dish the young woman prepared for me based on the specifications I gave her. “This little gem is so New York, and I had the best time here last Saturday night. It’s a tiny space run by a lovely husband-and-wife team that makes the whole experience feel warm and personal. The set menu was outstanding, with so many great flavor combinations, many of them inspired by traditional Nepali dishes. They also offer a thoughtfully chosen wine pairing that complemented the food really well. Service was excellent throughout, and I especially enjoyed hearing the stories behind each dish and the inspiration that went into creating them. Overall, just an outstanding dinner and a place I can’t wait to return to.“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

“I go here often for lunch. Plenty of variety, and fairly quick service. I always get the ribs from Tejas + kids mac n cheese. Everything else was good too, but the Thai food here is lacking (they used italian pasta for the pad see eew (not rice noodles) and pasta was very al dente both times i tried here). Havent seen if they improved for that restaurant yet but I always come back for Tejas!“

I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. It wasnt very crowded but the space is awesome I would like to go back on one of their event days. Overall good experience will come back for sure.“

I had sushi with some fried rice and I was very pleased with the taste. But the best thing I liked the most was the decor from the floor to the table setting. Some of the dishes reminded me of the dishes I had at Eleven Madison. My favorite was the crab noodles and the scallop dumplings.
