Jiang Nan NYC Reviews
We loved this spot. The pickled grilled fish was surprisingly flavorful and the toppings you could customize and add to it are great. The Shanghai soup dumplings were so good! We had the pork/crab soup dumplings, definitely some of the best soup dumplings I’ve had in NY. I’m also so happy that they have water spinach as a veggie dish! It’s not too greasy either. I definitely want to be back and try their Peking duck and many other dishes the next time I’m in the area!
I ordered an Uber Eats from this place and the food is very tasty. Bacon fried rice, sweet sour tenderloin and baby cabbage in chicken broth. The cabbage is a winner, as the chicken broth really enhances the tender simmered chinese cabbage. Definitely a winner!

Maybe because I am Taiwanese, I feel that many dishes tend to be oily. What impressed me most was the stir-fried bean sprouts (vegetarian), which really covered the bottom of the plate with a layer of oil. , it should be oilier than the stir-fried vegetables in Taiwanese...read full review
