“I had the blackened fish and it was really good.Fried rice and seasoned potato slices as sides. Fried rice was uninspiring. Potatoes were good.How they do sides for combos is weird. The choices for combos are only lo mein, potatoes, fried rice.I asked for plantains and they tasted fine.Its mostly chinese food. Chopsticks, chinese sauces. Its all chinese food too. Im chinese so it worked out.“

“We were hungry when we arrived at the American Dream Mall so we promptly made our way up the Coca Cola Eats food court on the 3rd floor in Court C of the vast Mall.
There were plenty of different food cuisines available in the very quiet food hall and after a look at all the options available I decided to go for some Chinese food from the King Kong Ecpress stall. I opted for their 2 entree and 1 side Combo A deal for $12.99 and had the General Tso chicken, chicken with brocoli and fried noodles. The food was very tasty and very good value.
The total bill for the food & a bottle of water came to a very reasonable $16.83 including taxes.
In the USA prices are quoted before sales taxes, which is 6.65% in this mall in New Jersey and alot higher in NYC!😤
My wife fancied the food from The Geman Doner Kebab stall, but she didn't realise it was located in Block A, which is a long distance away and came back without being able to find it☹️“

One of my favorite parts was getting to practice a little Thai that I’ve picked up from watching Thai series. It was such a fun moment, and the staff were so sweet and encouraging. It made the visit feel even more special.

“Had the Rainbow Roll (which had vegan BBQ char siu, tuna, and shrimp), the Peking Duck Bao, and the Ube crème brûlée. All were really great - the Ube crème brûlée was probably the most surpising and interesting. Portions were still pretty big despite these being small plates though! “I ordered online, and everything arrived fresh and beautifully prepared. The sushi was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. You could really taste the freshness of the fish, they were tender, buttery, and full of flavor. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

The beef with Chinese broccoli was also excellent. The beef was tender and flavorful, the Chinese broccoli was crisp and fresh, and the sauce was rich and savory without being too heavy. My daughter especially loves the beef with Chinese broccoli — it’s one of her favorite dishes!

Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. I would definitely order again!“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

Had a wonderful time tonight. Came in and got a myself a couple plates. Each meal was full of flavor and well done and well prepared. The waitress I had the pleasure of taking care of me was amazing.

I had the Quail and the Pig Out (for two). Except no way in hell am I sharing that with anyone lol. I ate that for myself!!!

I will say the pig out was such a cool and different kind of take on food. It’s one of those plates. You’ll probably always remember. I have dine at James beer award, winning new restaurants, and all sorts of Michelin rated and starred restaurants. The pig out is a meal I will always remember. And to me that says something.

And this is what the pig out is all about and worth the hype in my opinion …

The Pig Out. Chef Chen takes whole Berkshire pork bellies and cures them in thyme, ginger and salt for five hours before confiting them in duck fat for 15 hours. He then shreds the meat and lays it out on a sheet of pig skin, pressing it down and allowing it to cool. This create a terrine of sorts, with the gelatin in the meat binding everything. Once cooled, the pork is sliced into two inch diamonds and heated in a pan, rendering the skin shatteringly crisp. The pork is served with an arugula salad dotted with persimmons (the fruit changes seasonally) and candied walnuts, peanut noodles, a ginger scallion sauce, and a squeeze bottle of sambal. Chen recommends putting a little of the last two on each each piece of pork to achieve the “perfect bite.”

And there you go!!! if you’re in the area absolutely worth a trip. Go enjoy. It’s worth your time.“

“Finally had the opportunity to come to this place. I would like to start off with the service. When we arrived it was packed which we were not surprised. The lady at the front was very friendly. But our server not so much, i get people have off days but we did not feel welcomed. We ordered ceviche, white rice and beans & the chicharron de pollo. As someone that loves ceviche this was not the greatest ceviche i have ever had. The apples and celery threw me off but the reason why it was not great is because the juice had that seafood tate rather than the lime zesty taste. The rice and beans were amazing!! Perfect texture and taste. The chicharron de pollo is the best chicharron i have ever had. My husband and I literally locked eyes on the first bite. It was juicy and had the perfect crunch and taste. I will definitely recommend this place and come

I’m starting to think I have an addiction to the Red Curry Chicken Thigh dish it’s so dang good. Not to be missed if you can take a tiny bit of heat. Other highlights for me are tuna tataki, chicken wings, asian greens, dirty rice, chili garlic noodles and short rib but I’d be shocked if anything isn’t fantastic.

“Do yourself a huge favor and order the Taichung cocktail - the taro foam on top is to DIE for creamy and tasty, and the drink itself is so refreshing and pleasant. The drink tokens for the tea-infused liquors are sooo cool and fun, we all got different kinds and shared. Super yummy. Great spot so close to Grand Central, wish I had known about it sooner! Will definitely be back! Don’t sleep on the beef noodle soup, either. The ube tart was the perfect dessert. Wow, great experience and amazing vibes. Treat yourself here 👏👏👏“

“Came last night with my husband, and the service was amazing! The person at the door and our waiter were both incredibly nice and welcoming.

Unfortunately, we were starving and ordered the tasting menu, but we had to wait quite a while before getting any food. Then, everything arrived at the same time—literally around 14 plates. The tables are tiny, so there was absolutely no way everything could fit. Thankfully, a table for five was available and they moved us there so we could actually fit all the food. Otherwise, I honestly don’t know what we would have done.

I’m not sure what the idea is behind bringing an entire tasting menu out at once. Even the proteins, which are essentially the main course, arrived together with everything else, so naturally, by the time we got to them, they were cold. I would definitely recommend pacing the tasting menu and bringing the dishes out in courses. It would make the experience so much better.

The flavors are definitely there, but I do think the tasting menu is overpriced for what you get. The only dish I really didn’t enjoy was the crepe. I also ordered an espresso martini at the end, and unfortunately, it tasted like watery coffee with alcohol.

I understand the restaurant is new and there are always things to adjust in the beginning, so I genuinely hope this review is helpful. Besides those issues, the service was wonderful, the staff was lovely, and the place itself is very cute!“

I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“
