“Ordered vegetable lo mein and vegetable fried rice, and was pleasantly surprised. Both dishes were better than any airport Chinese food that I’ve had, and the servings (in large bowls) were generous. Utensils and chopsticks were provided. The low mein wasn’t ruined by excess cabbage or celery, and the fried rice wasn’t eggy. Service was okay (10-15 mins). Pricing was pretty good, given the silly mark-ups that you’ll find for most food and drinks in EWR. Seating is first come - first served, at the same kind of tables as you’ll find throughout EWR. (So you might meet a mystery dining companion across from you.) The only surprise was how early the restaurant closes (7:30). Other than that, a great experience, and I’ll be going back next time I’m travelling through Newark.“

“I’ve always ordered food for delivery here and the food has always been great. Tonight was my first time dining in. The food, service, and ambiance was amazing. Our server Deedra was very attentive and provided great service. The music playlist was perfect. I will definitely come here again!“

“Service was quick, the pork and chive dumplings were delicious, and even tho they serve it with soy sauce instead of dumpling sauce, it’s an airport. Don’t expect 5 star restaurant authentic dumplings. They’re good
Many thanks“

“I came from Pennsylvania to eat here, the food is very good, the service is excellent, good music and a pleasant atmosphere to taste some excellent Peruvian dishes. My congratulations to everyone who works here, 100% recommended and the lady who serves is very friendly and pretty like any Peruvian.“

“Evening Staff is super friendly!! The female cashier was so hospitable and “I assume” the manager was the male because he was very knowledgeable and very kind to the patrons of the community! I’m not from this area but I would definitely come back just because of their quality of service!“

“First time going, and far from the last. Amazing Japanese tapas all cooked over White Charcoal imported from Japan. Lucky enough to sit at counter overlooking the grill and sat next to the owner, a gentleman who started in the restaurant biz in Tokyo. The two sampler of seafood and meats and homemade sauces were just outstanding. Service was top notch. BYOB is an added bonus.“

“I went looking for Ramen in Staten Island but ended up in this place instead. Note: this is a CHINESE noodle shop, not Japanese, so don’t be disappointed. However, I enjoyed the results very much. Braised beef noodles and smashed cucumber salad. Very good, very different to Japanese noodles.
The only thing is the atmosphere is absolutely insane. The owner is obsessed with Dragonball Z, so the store is full of DBZ memorabilia . You can only get DBZ themed soda… no Coke or Sprite. Music was horribly loud. But I liked the food and the kid who served me was nice.“

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care. They quickly remade my roll and had me out the door with my tasty, customized, rolls. Excellent customer service and food! Thank you.“
