After visiting the Maplewood store I was turned off because the service and food in Maplewood was horrible. But with a lot of convenseing from my daughter in love. I tried the one in Newark and am very please with portion size and freshness. I will return when I back down in Newark again.”

The mascarpone filling must've melted because it wasn't visible yet the flavor was there and that's what matters!The bread pudding was delish, a creamy sauce on the side as an option would be nice - not necessary! But I love me some sawce.Ambiance and service was perfect for a chill brunch. Good music and warm, inviting decor.** The not so great was a pretty big leak in the bathroom ceiling that required 2 buckets to be placed in the center of the only bathroom. And the blueberry compote on the French toast was cold. Both things are easily corrected and wouldn't deter me from returning or recommending. I absolutely plan to return ! Especially in the warmer months because they have ample outside seating .”

The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious. I love everything about this place, only drawback the inside could have more room for additional tables but the food, Serb ice and atmosphere- oh and prices- are spot on! I had onion rings with my cheesesteak they were good too! No parking lot but there was plenty of on-street parking and the guts that work there are super helpful and pleasant! Don’t go to Prados - Run to Prados!! Highly recommended!”

Poor lady was running from the counter to handle takeout orders to the kitchen to coordinate orders, to the tables to handle the seated guests, back to the counter, it was A LOT. I think she said her name was Oré. She was super sweet and held it down, but I felt bad she had to do all that. Overall, it was a nice casual spot to grab a bite. Might be better for takeout if it gets super busy.”

I have coworkers who say the salads are really good too, I have to try those next. If you use the app you get $8 off every few orders which is nice if you're a frequent shopper like me!”

My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm. For the Entree the seafood pasta was fresh and a generous serving portion for 5-6 people alone in 1 serving. We also had the picadinho, which was my favorite- excellent... not too greasy! All were delicious but my favorite were the flan and chocolate mousse. We were all seated in the patio at the back of the restaurant which had a great breeze from outside on a nice summer temperature... our day happened to be rainy which was relaxing to see and hear from where we were seated. “Ate here with a group of co-workers (total of 8 people) after work on a Tuesday evening. It had a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent starting from the appetizers all the way down to the dessert! The calamari and the shrimp during the appetizer was on point. The sauce on the shrimp was great dipping for the bread. For the Entree the seafood pasta was fresh and a generous serving portion for 5-6 people alone in 1 serving. We also had the picadinho, which was my favorite- excellent... not too greasy! And had a good portion of salad with steak. Then we each had a serving of different desserts that we shared- flan, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, cheesecake, and some pudding.”

“Good food, same original cook. 1 of 2.But they also like to do the one thing I hate restaurants doing. The tip is included ( 20%)and it’s on the initial bill but once you pay the signing receipt comes with tip area for you to fill and they don’t bring back the original receipt which they should. This is to trick you to tip twice. That for me killed it. I won’t be going back because it’s wrong morally . But again, good food.Parking: It’s across the street. Not inconvenient at all. “My first time here was an experience. The establishment was decorated to the T with such vibrant colors and great decorations. Each way you turn there would be something that catches your eye. We ate the Birria tacos and the lamb which was moderate. The service was incredible. Every worker there was so friendly and helpful. I was told that the nightlife there was good so I can’t wait to check it out. The parking is a bit hard around that area so thankfully they offered valet.”

I've tried different restaurants during visits in NJ but this last visit I came across Temmy's restaurant & it was the best hands down 100%! She was so kind to direct me on where to buy good bread for my ewa aganyin. The jollof rice & efo riro was banging good?. I'll buy food from here anytime, anyday I'm in NJ/NY. Will recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic Nigerian food”

Plenty of parking. The rice was soft. It wasn't grainy and unflavored. It was cooked through and the grains opened up. it was flavorful. You can tell it was from today. The chicken was a little too sweet and oily for me. You can tell they burned it in sugar for too long, but it was still much better than the competitors. It was soft and cooked through as well. “Talure is an amazing server!! She was attentive and kind. The pizza was to die for as Jackie kept us engaged as she cooked. You can see the pizza cooking in the grill which gives a great feel.
