They have plenty condiments in my bag with utensils and napkins. Price was reasonable for this economy shockingly . Young man server was nice and remembered my order by heart.

HOWEVER… D&J Country Cooking is absolutely AMAZING. 💯 I was a little disappointed that they don’t offer dine-in, because I would’ve loved to enjoy my food hot at a table. Instead, I ended up eating it in my car. But let me tell you — it was still worth it. I ordered the fish, yams, and mac & cheese… and it was incredible. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted like real home cooking. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a very kind elderly woman who greeted me with eye contact, a warm attitude, and great recommendations. She was sweet, helpful, and really made me feel comfortable about trying the food. It was a true example of Southern hospitality. I’m giving this spot 9 stars. It would’ve been a full 10 if they had dine-in seating, because the food is so good it deserves to be enjoyed fresh at a table. Hopefully they consider adding a sit-down option in the future because it would really take the experience to another level. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve got to try the neckbones on Wednesday or Thursday next time. Great spot!!!!!”

We had buffalo chicken, cheese and a broccoli one at the table too and all were great! From a Florida traveler it was one of the best pizzas I've had and my favorite of my travels around. Also, the soup with yams dish was not really soup at all - it was more of a thick sauce that you use the yams to dilute a little bit (like what you would do with rice).. We stopped in before the Earthquake Comedy Show and ended up having one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time.
I ordered the burger and fries along with a Long Island Iced Tea. Everything was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and served exactly the way great food should be. Dorothy had the hummus with fresh vegetables, the pomegranate basil drink, and the Margherita pizza appetizer. Every item was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious.
The drinks deserve their own recognition. The Long Island was spot on, and the pomegranate basil drink was refreshing, unique, and unforgettable.
The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in. Friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.
The atmosphere was outstanding. Clean, modern, comfortable, and energetic without being overwhelming. Whether you're there for a casual meal, a date night, drinks with friends, or heading to an event at NJPAC, this place delivers.
Now let's talk about something most restaurants overlook: the bathrooms. Spotless. Clean. Well maintained. That level of attention tells you a lot about how a business is run.
The management clearly takes pride in every aspect of the operation. You can feel it in the food, the service, the cleanliness, and the overall experience.
And believe it or not, even the water was phenomenal. That's not something I normally mention in a review, but everything here was just that good.
NICO Kitchen + Bar has set the standard for what a restaurant should be. We left impressed, satisfied, and already planning our next visit.
In fact, I'll be calling because I'd love to learn more about their business...and see if I can be a part of any potential growth.. That's how strongly I feel about what they've built here. When a restaurant gets every detail right, it deserves recognition.

They used to sell burger dogs it was basically if a hamburger and hotdog had a baby and it’s so good, that’s what I usually order, when we called it in we said “burger dogs” and places the order like normal, they charge a couple dollars for delivery. Couple minutes pass by and we decided we forgot to add something to the order so we call them and ask for it to be placed with the other one. We are told we have to pay a delivery fee again because it’s by card, which didn’t make sense to me at all, he spoke to the owner and they said if it’s in cash we don’t have to pay that delivery fee but by card we have to nothing he can do thankfully we had enough cash on hand but that already made me feel some type of way, once the food arrives I realize it was a burger (not the burger dog so it didn’t have the sausage) honestly I was just so disappointed so I called them and they said they don’t sell burger dogs anyone how people have been getting confused, but correct me if I’m wrong, if a coustomer calls and says burger dog wouldn’t you correct then right there by saying they don’t make it anymore, but over all the food is good but how everything was handled from the miscommunication and then the delivery fee I feel like is unacceptable especially since I’ve been such a loyal customer and supported them before they even opened this location.”
