“Excellent food and outstanding staff. Our server was Jen and she couldn’t have been nicer. My nephew, Max Clayton, is performing in White Christmas at the Papermill. We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) “This restaurant is a gem! It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and they have an extensive bar (brilliant list of bourbons) and the menu is eclectic.

Every bite is mouthwatering and the portions can be shared. The octopus was my favorite followed by the rigatoni. The cocktails were strong and textured.

The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. This hotel is refreshing and deserving on locals and foodies support. Dining here is an exquisite experience and I highly recommend it.“

“Not even exaggerating: this was one of my favorite dining experiences to date! Had a surprise birthday party for a friend in one of the private back rooms, and the staff was so accomodating, helpful, and friendly. Our waiter, Chris, was especially awesome: he was super sociable and patient with any questions we had about the food, the hotpot process, and splitting the check. The energy of this place was so warm and inviting- anyone looking to host a night out with friends: rest assured, you will have a great time and memorable experience here. I haven't even started talking about the food.

The wagyu beef is absolutely worth the cost. There are more affordable items on the menu and they are also yummy but guess what? Everything felt priced so accordingly that it is 100% worth spending that extra money on those special menu items. The thin wagyu melts so perfectly into the delicious broths, the thought of it will keep me up at night. Treat yourself and get that meat!!

And my god. The broths. Holy cow. I got the spicy broth, and it was the perfect level of heat* that, combined with the huge selection of sauces, made the proteins and noodles DIVINE... THE RICE CAKES TOO omg.. The tofu, fish balls, and mushrooms were all also really well sourced, just really premium products priced very modestly for how quality they all were. *note: be ready for the peppers that have the slightly numbing/tingling effect- not on a Szechuan level, but a nice and perfect build that makes each ingredient have a beautiful taste profile.

We had the table with personal pots/induction stoves, so all the proteins/veggies we shared, but we would also pass along samples of the other broths to each other, and I wish I had ordered my own bowl of the seasonal vietnamese pho broth too because the one small bowl I sampled was heavenly.

I will definitely be back again to try the drinks, they looked fantastic and the ambience of the bar felt so nice.

“We had our wedding after party at the Waiting Room, for ~50 guests.

I cannot recommend them enough! Service was impeccable from start to finish and pricing was competitive with downtown Hoboken.

The event coordinator, Avery was prompt and incredible helpful in getting all of the details right. Mike was attentive and delivered on every ask on the night of. Jessie was a gem behind the bar and was wonderful in the planning phases to help me nail down the drink package! Ryan showed incredible range with his DJing and kept the dancefloor lively all night.

Cocktail menu is fantastic as well!

“Just got home from our 1st visit. The meal was spectacular. My wife had foie gra mousse and I had the beet salad both were great, entree black bass and duck breast both cooked to perfection the dessert was wonders. Great attentive service. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Sadie and the gen. Manager Melanie, they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend, parking might be hard to find. I will return and soon, they are going to offer the foo gra in puff pastry, I go just for that. I found it reasonably priced. My wife enjoyed her 70th birthday meal as much as I did.“

We stopped by The Living Room one evening before we headed out to Brooklyn for some exploration. Jose and Peter were such amazing bartenders, it was difficult for us to leave! “The silk city pop up event is the most adorable event with beautiful decorations and fun drinks in the cutest cups. You also get to see the barrels because they are in view so that's interesting as well. The drinks were out of this world. Totally recommend“

“Been to this place quite a few times and we are big fans now! The two items I would say are absolute must have are the steamed veggie momos and the paneer tikka tacos!

Those tacos are genuinely so so so tasty! And the momos here are our absolute favorites in JC / NYC. I don’t think anyone makes better momos than them - and if you disagree, we are happy to do a taste test haha. We have tried the fried momos and steamed momos and while both are great, we are partial to the steamed ones!

The owner, Mr Rana, is super friendly. He accommodated us on a busy night on Karwa Chauth, he is always super friendly when we walk in with our baby in her car seat or stroller and helps us make space and get her situated very comfortably.
