“I threw a 30th surprise party in the speakeasy and it was absolutely amazing!! Guests were raving about the place, food, cocktails, and service. The staff were attentive and made the experience outstanding. Definitely recommend having an event here!!“
“My friend and I had such a delightful time for dinner tonight at Soothr! We started with piping hot Hoi Johr, plump little crab and pork dumplings wrapped in crispy soy skin.Absolute standout dishes were the Roasted Eggplant Salad (zippy flavors, comforting, and amazing with the fried egg and crispy shallots on top) and Koong Karee (luscious shrimp curry with white rice). You need to order those!!!We also ordered the Duck Noodles after hearing the hype, and they were tasty. Unfortunately, it was a tough act to follow after the Koong Karee. The duck was super tender and juicy but we ended up twirling the remaining noodles in the karee sauce. It was that good, we didn’t want to waste a drop.Ended with the mango sundae, which was perfectly refreshing and satisfying. Our waiter PJ was amazing — you’re in good hands if you ask him advice on ordering. He provided excellent service and always kept our water glasses full. Thank you, PJ! We will be back again soon!“
“Solid food and good ambiance. Good for a date or to catch up with friends.A friend and I got the tuna tartare, uni spaghetti, and broccolini to share since we weren’t too hungry. Each dish did not miss.Service was friendly but if I can be picky, I think the amount of times my water was filled was a little excessive and at times distracted me from conversations with my friend ??♀️“
“This was everything you wanted in a dinner experience. For starters there is something fun about walking the graffiti lined streets of the LES into an unexpected fine dining experience. The staff from our actual waitress to the Som to the people delivering our food were personal and fun and added to the experience. One of the owners (Raymond) even came around to chat. The food was outstanding; prepared to perfection but also taking risks which I love to see. At $112 the tasting menu is very reasonably priced for Manhattan and what you get. Instead of making the price unattainable they offer add ons if you want them. We got the caviar hand roll which was decadent and delicious but the tasting menu is great on its own as well. I’m already planning my next visit and will be rotating this in as one of my faves.“
“Outstanding experience! Steaks, Chicken Parm, Sides where amazing! The Vinyl Albums getting turned. Feel the hospitality from owner Kevin & wife Sophia & Staff! Just amazing! oh - the martini's and wine where amazing too!!!“
“If you want a delicious burger, that’s the place. Excellent service by the stuff at Au Cheval, knowledgeable of their menu and very friendly. The burger obviously it’s a must, the salad is fresh and full of flavor, the wings are incredible with a bit of a kick (wet towels provided). I also recommend the bone marrow, very delicious.“
“Incredible Israeli food. Ignore the fake 1 star reviews from individuals who have never even eaten here and came to the reviews to spew hate. The Salatim were on point, the lamb/brisket was incredible, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and had us laughing the whole night. The fries with the tahini ketchup were also incredible! If you complain about the price then you didn’t come to the right place, do your research. This place is priced for the high quality food, world famous chef, and experience. Thank you to the whole Laser Wolf crew! We had gotten engaged the night before and our meal was flooded with extra treats from the staff, they went out of their way to congratulate us and make our dining experience 10/10. A reminder for Google reviewers to limit your comments to the food and your personal experience at this restaurant. Food should unite us, not divide us.“
“Have been back a number of times already (both in the Parlor and in the Taproom) and continue to have great experiences. Was at the Taproom on a Friday evening for dinner, it was busy but felt energetic and lively. Our server remembered us from our previous visits and she was terrific. The menu changes occasionally and provides some different selections. Tonight we had the Lamb Stew which is one of our favorites and also enjoyed the All Day Irish Breakfast (may seem to be a little unusual to have it for dinner but it was great!) Highly recommend!“
“What a fabulous meal we had a Semma. Love the atmosphere with the thatched walls and ceilings, plus for a small restaurant, they really gave ample space between the tables in our section of the restaurant. Service was very warm, informative and attentive.Things we loved:Semma Sour - this is a fabulous drink. Highly recommendGunpowder Dosa - absolutely superb, generous and delicious. Accompanying chutneys were also fantasticLamb app - super savory, delicious little lamb bones in a nice pile really gave the meal a great startLamb shank - incredible. Soft as butter, phenomenal sauce.Stuffed peppers - amazing curry, a real highlight.Did not love the oxtail as it was frankly too fatty so 2 out of 3 bites were literally globs of fat. Not the chef's fault. I think we just misordered and should have opted for a fish dish instead.Would definitely return to Semma. Where we found Masalawala sort of ungenerou in the portions, Semma is more than ample. We look forward to returning if we can ever get a reservation again!“
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“
“if you want to have tasteful food in a great location with good service look no further! oysters are super fresh. Egg Benedict in nice variations and the banana pancakes are just a blast!Dietary restrictions: they will ask you prior for allergies etc.“
“This is the perfect place to take your friend who comes to New York often enough that people think she lives here. Get here around 4:23 on a Thursday and you’ll only wait 40 minutes in the wind to get a seat at the Coop, where you’ll spend 10 more minutes trying to puzzle through their menu. Your friends and you will pick different items, curious if it’s actually good, but once the drinks and sandwich’s come, you’ll wonder how you’ll ever go to another bar.Cocktails are a few more dollars than the average New York drink, but the quality is at least double (no pun intended).“
“Okay, I’ve been here a few times now and Shuka does not disappoint. I’ve been with a large group of friends and by myself. This latest time was by myself, I sat at the bar. The bartender was sooo friendly and was very attentive my entire dinner. The drinks were so good and the food is always delicious. They have a great wine selection. It’s a great place to share plates if you’re there with a group. Get the Shuka feast if you’re with 3+ !I had the gin/cucumber drink and 2 glasses of one of their wines. The dips are a great start, specifically the beet one. I also got the meatballs and then the shrimp kebab. Honestly everything was so delicious. I wish I had room for more. Finished the dinner with their olive oil cake. The absolute perfect dinner. Can’t wait to go back. Shuka should be a must visit on your list.“
“Hav & Mar was fantastic! Great food, upbeat vibe, attentive service that was not intrusive. The Branzino was cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce served on the side. Ceaser salad was unusual and delicious. Tuna tartare was excellent. Bread basket was unusual and came with interesting accoutrements. Delicious yucca and sweet potato fries were crispy with just enough seasoning. It was my first visit but definitely not my last. I'll definitely be back. I'm still dreaming about the Branzino!“
“Wow, what a night, with flavors that can barely be described. They are so perfectly crafted. The almond miso soup packs so much flavor. The skewers are delicate. But the star of the show is the mazemen. I'm not sure I've ever had a dish like this and not sure I'll have one again. Definitely add the egg to give this dish and edge you will tell everyone about. The staff also deserves a shout out as everyone is so pleasant, knowledgeable and they make it seem like they've all been working together forever.“
“Not a huge fan of their ramen. Got the classic tonkatsu ramen. The soup base has too strong of dashi flavor which overpowers the tonkatsu flavor. The charsu were super thinly sliced, lack depth and flavor. Not charred. I've been to hundreds of ramen joint both here in the states and Japan. This one is good but nothing to rave about.“
“Ambiance is always low key and chill no matter how packed this place gets the vibe is always chill and never rushed.. as many places in city are crammed this one is no exception. After being say in between two dinner parties along the benches we felt smothered and opted for seats at the bar. Ofc, the chicken is worth it all. Its almost a crime to eat here and not have the crispy seasoned to perfection chicken drizzled with hot honey!!! 10/10 recommend! Enjoy“
“The Noortwyck is excellent. It's a rare restaurant that's elegant without being stuffy, that executes perfectly without showiness. It just works for so many occasions, and has become my go-to in the West Village.I'd recommend any of the pastas they have available, and definitely save room for dessert.(Also, their take-home Thanksgiving pies are incredible; they're the reason I look forward to November every year.)“
“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“
“Immediately as we walked in, we were hit by an amazing aroma of food to Billie Holiday playing. I was immediately impressed. Service was good, food was quick to come out, and servers were kind and speedy! Would rate this 10/10 if I could, definitely coming back!“
“Well, this is a Chinese restaurant that is truly worth visiting. We went on New Year's Eve which shows how important it was to us. The collection of food, how beautifully they are presented on the plate, how cleverly the interior blends the West with the East - these are elements that you should appreciate in person.“
“I usually don’t goto places like this because I’m from Brooklyn and I dress like a bum. The service was amazing, they didn’t judge my dirty Brooklyn cyclones hat and were very attentive. Second, the food was amazing and loved every bits of it.The appetizers we tried were the tuna tartare, chicken gyro bao buns and saganaki fondue. All were amazing! My main course was the salmon and I can’t describe how good it was because my vocabulary is limited. But anyway, once again the service was amazing. I would recommend this place even to gnarly out of borough people like me!“
“OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024“
“CHILI has been my recent favorite discovery. It has a beautiful old-world charm and a delectable sichuan fare. LOVE THE FOOD! It’s authentic and delicious! I would say this place is a good choice for a date night, casual meetup, family dining or just a solo meal. It’s kid-friendly too! So many repeat visits here already and I cannot get enough!Ensure you make a reservation before you go. This place can get quite busy especially on Fridays and weekends. During odd hours, you can do a walk-in too.“
“AMAZING atmosphere and view especially from balcony. Drink is strong and pricey as you would expect for the place. Bartender was unfriendly and provided just the bare minimum service. 2 out of 3 drinks we ordered were also wrong. Will come back for the view if in the area but would not go out of our way for it.“
“We went last Sunday night for a family dinner. We ordered White bean Hummus, Hamachi and Tuna appetizers(tiny portions), Gruyère fritters as starters. Can’t remember what else. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork Katsu and the citrus marinated chicken, Gnocchi w Duck Ragu for dinner which were also well prepared and accompaniments were flavorful. Part of our dinner was the charred octopus appetizer. This dish was quite overcooked and chewy. The sauce on the side was the only way we got through the plate. In retrospect we should have sent the item back as it was an expensive selection but we did not want to be rude. This was also unexpected as our other choices were tasty so we did not know how to deal with this miss. All in all this dish was a disappointment. Staff was friendly, vibe was nice and the restaurant was quite full on a Sunday evening. We noticed a gentleman watching over the dining room and I am guessing that was to make sure patrons were either well taken care of or not over staying.“
“This top-heavy menu can make the meal’s start somewhat chaotic. By the time the main courses rumble to the table, though, it’s clear that Le Rock’s heart lies in the roll-up-your-sleeves, tuck-a-napkin-in-your-collar bistro tradition. There is steak au poivre, of course, but the peppercorns are pungent pickled green ones and the meat is a big pan-seared hunk of bison filet with a tenderness you never find in beef.“
“Could not say more positive things about this place - they had an extensive drink menu with well balanced cocktails and yummy food. My fiancé had been searching for chocolate pecan pie this past holiday season with no luck, so we were overjoyed to find out that they had it. The vibes were splendid and service was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back.“
“The wine selection is outstanding, accompanied by a superb food menu that's straightforward and user-friendly. The ambiance is wonderfully minimalist, and the food is served at the ideal temperature with exceptional flavor. We enjoyed the Long Island duck and pork tenderloin, as well as steelhead trout and gulf prawns for starters. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in NYC.“
“I'll start with the breathtaking panoramic views!!!! What a stunning restaurant!!!! If you are not familiar with what to order off of a Korean menu, just ask for recommendations. From start to finish what an excellent dining experience! Right before theBilly Joel concert, very fitting to have a bottle of red & a bottle of white! If you're in the K-Town area 1250 Broadway to be exact, go straight to the penthouse!!!!“
“I was so excited to finally be able to be able to eat here as it's been on my list for so long! When we first arrived, the hostess was a bit rude and short with us when explaining that everyone in our party needed to be there prior to being seated. After we were seated, however, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Our waitress, Lydia, provided some wine recommendations based on what we told her we were looking for, and they were perfect. She walked us through the entire menu, giving us her top picks from each section. Among 5 people, we split the pear crostone, the spaghetti, the tagliatelle, the crab squid ink pasta, and the cacio e peppe, along with the roasted chicken and the crispy potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The group agreed that the roasted chicken was one of the best things any of us had ever eaten. In terms of pasta, my personal favorite was the tagliatelle, but the crab squid ink pasta was another fan favorite. The Brussels were delicious, and the potatoes were cooked so perfectly. To finish, we shared the chocolate chip cinnamon cookies and the salted chocolate cake which were both to die for. Thank you so much to Lydia (and the chef of course!) for making this experience so memorable for us!!!“
“Such a neat and stylish dining room. Service was super friendly and everything we ate was delicious: soup, clams (raw and fried), salmon, and more. only miss was the dip with house made potato chips, but the chips were divine. We will return.“
“This was a very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere but I would definitely recommend it for a date night. We wanted to get the burger which is very hyped but we couldn’t because they only make 12 of those per night. The rest of the food was decent but not anything amazing. We ordered a bunch of plates and got to share the dishes which is what I would recommend.“
“Bangkok Supper Club is undeniably the best Thai restaurant in NYC. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy and warm atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The host's warm welcome adds to the inviting ambiance, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food--it's simply outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Lin Yang (beef tongue) grilled charcoal, a dish that bursts with flavor and tenderness. Another must-try is the octopus with fried onion, a delightful combination of textures and tastes that leave a lasting impression. What truly sets Bangkok Supper Club apart, though, is the exceptional service. I can confidently say it's the best I've ever experienced. The servers Pat are attentive, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Overall, Bangkok Supper Club is a gem in NYC's culinary scene, offering not just incredible food but also a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service that make every visit a delight.“
“WE LOVE LEITAO!!!! We were looking for a new experience for my Mom's 75th birthday. We often have Asian fair for special occasions because we know there's something for each of us. But we also love other types of food so we decided on finding a Portuguese restaurant. All roads led to Leitao. And we were not disappointed!!! We ended up arriving earlier than our reservation but they had no trouble accommodating us immediately. The staff is beyond friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating. The food is spectacular. They took into account my Mom's mobility & vision issues & even sent out a special dessert for her birthday! We love this place & will definitely be back!“
“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“
“Amazing dinner experience for valentine's day. It was packed when we arrived but were promptly seated as we had a reservation. We had the prix fixed menu which consisted of 3 courses. The apps were amazing and almost stole the show before entrees arrived. We were so taken aback how great they were and couldn't stop raving about ever so tender and flavorful octopus and Cavatelli duck ragu. For entrees, we chose duck breast and the American wagyu steak cooked properly to medium and medium rare and had amazing tenderness and flavors with a beautiful presentation as well.Only minor gripes were the cocktails we had ordered were a tad too sweet and fruity for our enjoyment and we had to switch it up to something off their menu and classics which they accommodated gladly. Service was attentive although it was a hectic night for v day. The desserts could improve and didn't live up to par like the apps and entrees. Flourless chocolate cake was rather dry but Panna cotta was beautifully presented and scrumptious. Overall it was definitely worthy of a former 1 michellin star restaurant experience in my heart. Wish them the best of luck to getting back their hard earned michellin star.“
“We celebrated our anniversary at this amazing place! At the beginning, I was impressed by the person at the front. She took our jackets and led us to our table. We even did not ask where the toilets were, because she provided us that information. Our server Kritwamorpan provided an amazing service! She explained the menu, was extremely friendly and made our evening! Probably, one of the best services that we've had!We ordered Toro Shoyu and Gindara Yuan as appetizers! They were delicious!Futo Maki were tasty, but I would not order them again. Because of their size. They were failing apart. As a main dish we chose Salmon Ikura Donabe. It was delicious! Which is the perfect size for 2 people. Our server Kritwamorpan brought it and did a small show of mixing everything together! She was so attentive that filled our plates again when we finished 1st time.As a dessert we took Panna Cotta. It was tasty and not a big portion. At the end of the dinner, we were so impressed when we got our celebration present! So lovely experience! This place is amazing!P.S. I was surprised that tips are starting with 18% for such top notch service! In comparison to other places, where staff is less attentive and they have bigger tips suggestions.“
“Best experience!! We had a private event at American Brass in January for about 20 people. Everything was perfect! The restaurant is gorgeous, and the food was delicious! We loved the style and atmosphere of the restaurant. Our menu included a champagne toast, appetizers, their amazing focaccia bread, steak frites, the polenta, passed desserts, and a cake. They were also able to accommodate a vegetarian option. It was all so good!! Everyone really loved their food, as well as drinks at the bar afterwards! The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tegwyth, American Brass’s Events Manager, was so thoughtful and instrumental to planning our event! She worked closely with us for months leading up to the party and had great suggestions. Ellen, American Brass’s Executive Pastry Chef, made us the most beautiful and delicious cake. Everyone was raving about the cake! Juan, our server, was also phenomenal and went above and beyond. The restaurant is directly across from the Gantry Park Piers, great for photos. Everything was beautiful and polished. It felt fancy and well put together. Highly recommend American Brass and their team for small weddings and events! Thank you again!“
“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“
“It's not only one of the best tikkie bar..it looks speakeasy..on 2nd level..Victorian style restro cum bar on 1st level.Sunken Harbor Club is incredible...We went ground floor by mistake because we had reservations for 2nd floor....after sitting we realized deco is different from Google pic ..then we go to 2nd...Ground restro bar is also very good fully equipped by Victorian style..deffinatly high-end bar..I was originally a bit hesitant because I often find social media-driven speakeasy culture to be pretty unbearable, but this place truly felt like something special. The aesthetic of an underwater, haunted, nautical secret society works really well, and they don't hold back in committing to it through decorations, furniture, and the menu...At the end before closing they made wonder atmosphere by water balloons and colourful LED.Server was very lively and wonderful. She remind me my Scotland trip..by the way she entertained customers... very cheerful person“
“Absolutelly wonderful experience. Every single member of the staff is friendly, respectful and professional. The food is out of this planet, delicious, beautifully presented and served. The wine list is very interesting, diverse and extensive. 100% going back.“
“I have been trying to go for almost a year!!(been label want to try on Google map)Today I was in the AreaIt was packed!!Was only a 30min wait for lunch! Was totally fine! run to Ktown to get some groceries, by then I was seated.Didn’t know what to choose as everything looks delicious!!Went with the garlic chicken BBQ lunch special.Beautiful presentation!!each bite were amazingWill definitely go back and try the other options !!“
“Lobster saffron risotto was yummy. Hubby’s red shrimp spaghetti was apparently rather salty for his liking but this is NY. We find NYC’s food quite salty compared to our food back home.Concierge was very kind to offer us a glass of bubbly. We were severely jet lagged and needed somewhere to quickly grab our supper. So we went to this place as it was near from our hotel. It is not the cheapest restaurant in NYC but food quality (lobster was cooked perfectly), service by Genara and Concierge made our dining experience so memorable. The only downside was the restaurant has two dining areas and we were seated in the most inner part. It was highly rowdy..! I wanted a quieter/ more intimate ambience as the restaurant oozes out this romantic atmosphere. Maybe next time? Will def return.“
“The food here was really good and the bottomless brunch option was a great addition to the meal. Our waitress, Daisy, was such a lovely person and was quick to meet any of our needs. I would definitely come again for the food and atmosphere!“
“It was an amazing experience that I give 5 ⭐️’s The menu was innovative and interesting and I love that the chef guides all the courses that come out of the kitchen. Being sea to table ensures the highest quality food and the technique from chef Daniel shines through in every dish. I will definitely be back!“
“I was on a work trip and have very special eating needs and Hemant and staff really came through for me on very short notice!!! I will forever remember and HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!! Thank you Hemant and Staff for going above and beyond for me!! Darcy T.“
“I didn't have any food, so I'm leaving that blank. The atmosphere was so much fun. The staff was good, nothing spectacular, but definitely pleasant staff. I'll definitely be back. It was a last minute invite so definitely surprised. Didn't plan on doing a review but the place is a great experience. I can't wait to go back and take in the full experience.“
“Everyone here went above and beyond. Hostess accommodated my party of 5 when they were fully packed, our server recommended all the best plates and drinks, and the ambiance was immaculate with the crowd enjoying their food and company. Their interior was also spot on with the disco chill vibe they were trying to set. All the food came out to our table fairly quickly and also got devoured fairly quickly lol. 10/10 recommend reserving a time to eat here!!!“
“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!“
