“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“
“Great experience at Madame for dinner with another couple. Martin on the staff was exceptionally good, very attentive and incredibly cordial. Every course was delicious. Although, the chocolate creme brulee made for a great finish to the meal.“
“Went for dinner and had a great time. Ordered a cocktail that was similar to a Moscow Mule which was nice and refreshing. We had the Deviled Eggs and Sticky wings which were both delicious. For our main, the Pasta Ragu, Broccolini and Truffle Waffle fries - all delicious. The servers seemed a bit too busy and we had to look for them a few times but I'd definitely recommend it for a nice casual dinner.“
“Ahh! Such a beautiful date night at Cellar 335. Advance reservations are necessary to ensure that you get a table. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. The restaurant is in the basement and has a speakeasy vibe to it.The food and the drinks were unique and delicious. For food, we tried the avocado fried rice (customized without egg), the crispy tofu bao buns and the spicy cornbread - the portion sizes were great too. For drinks we had Shipwrecked (the best!), Pole star and a spicy drink. They did not have many of the cocktails on the menu so best check with them before you decide on one. Definitely ask for the dessert menu - we tried the passion fruit panna cotta and it was the best way to end the meal! Our hostess, Alli was very nice and friendly. This restaurant is expensive, but definitely worth a visit for the lovely ambience and the great food/drinks.Vegetarian options: There are some great vegetarian options available and a few others can be customised and be made vegetarian.“
“If I could I'd give this place 100 stars! Their chicken tacos are by far my favorite, after four years of not living in NJ I had to come back to get these tacos, they are so delicious. Their guacamole flight is also so good, must try their pork belly guac and spicy jam one. Órale is doing it right!!“
“This place never fails! Their food is out of this world and their service is on point. We’ve been here 3 times total and each time we get so excited about what we are going to order and the new items in the menu. This place is great for date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommend the lasagna fritta!!“
“The menu is a sweet merry-go-round that licks my brain like a dish in ratatouille. This past time I indulged with The collard green melt. Think about a vegetarian Ruben without pastrami but instead an earthy perfect collard, a pepper spiced Russian dressing oozing out the sides because of my vigorous bites, and a marble rye time capsule of perfection. I licked my nubs and used the fries for plate cleaning. But... I digress. The menu always changes but it never fails. There are a couple of these brilliant finds on every new iteration. Surround all that with nice bartenders that exude the word craft, some swell bluegrass on hump day, and the aer of 1970s Missoula. it's always a jersey city staple.“
“Very good! Stopped by as it's a quick walk from Hoboken. Service was so nice and food was good! We shared chicken sandwich and pulled pork nachos. They also have a few cocktail options that were very good. Portions were great to share and we would love to come back to try other things. Would recommend, thanks for a great brunch!“
“Great local spot in the Heights. Pizzas are great, the beer selection is fantastic (They have Alchemist beers! I hadn't seen those since I left Vermont), but their cocktails can be hit or miss. I wish they had high chairs since this neighborhood has a lot of families. Maybe someday they will! Staff are really friendly and the service is great.Parking: Street parking if you can find itKid-friendliness: No high chairs or kids menu, but they are cool with kids“
“No complaints! Everything was delicious and the service was great. The staff was friendly. My husband & I went on a date night. We had the burrata which was amazing! I ordered a dirty martini which was great as well. For dinner we both had the steak frites, which was cooked exactly how we ordered it, and I am in love with the brandy peppercorn cream sauce. Dessert was the perfect ending. I enjoyed the vibe and music. We ordered a pizza to go for my child and it did not disappoint. Finally a great restaurant away from all the downtown traffic and lack of parking. We will definitely return to try more food!“
“First time coming here but the service and the vibes were very fun. The place has a lot of room for tables which is nice when coming with a large party of people. Bartenders catered to our needs and made our experience very memorable. Will definitely come here whenever we visit the “
“Journal Square is a large Path Train Station. It’s clean and has very frequent service to the World Trade Center and 33rd St. The station was built by blasting through rock. So you can see some rock formations at the station. My experience at this station is very good.“
“Had the pleasure of working with Gabriel and team for a private party at 143 Social, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Good communication leading up to the event, great at handling our special requests, SUPER helpful team on site on the night. Multiple guests commented on the quality of the food and drinks and how attentive all the staff were. Big thanks especially to Dan and Juan who consistently went above and beyond to keep everyone happy. This team couldn’t have done more for us“
“Definitely sit outside if you can! Even if it's cold. The heaters work well enough that you don't need a jacket. Our server Marisa took great care of us. She had great menu knowledge and was friendly and quick. Everything we ate was delicious. I wish the French toast could come in a half portion, though :)“
“best burger in downtown jc! staff is friendly and love it when they have the outdoor seating open. my go to for comfort and casual. also, love that they are accomdating to allergiesDietary restrictions: they have gluten free bunsKid-friendliness: always families with kids during the day“
“Everything was great! It wasn't too loud, we got got our food pretty fast. The short ribs were melt in your mouth amazing, and the hot honey carrots were excellent. I also really enjoyed the brandy sauce that came with the new york strip.“
“This was just a one night stopping point for us on a longer road trip, and it was a great little reprieve from driving! The hotel is beautiful, comfy, and quiet. And there are so many delicious restaurants within walking distance! We’ll definitely be back.“
“Our second time at the restaurant, and we loved the food, service, and ambiance. We ordered coconut shrimp, noodles, fish, and eggplant. The coconut shrimp was totally the winner, and we all loved it. Our server, Raymond, was friendly and checked on us a couple of times if we needed anything. It is a casual spot for dining, but the restaurant is pretty big to have a good capacity of people. I definitely recommend the restaurant for a good dining experience.“
“Good food, very attentive service and great ambiance. We ordered-Wednesday all you can eat mussels- was ok-Pistachio Buratta salad-very tasty-Meatballs- good solid diah-Sourdough bread -loved the bread,it was just the right level of crunch-Paperdelle - very tastyAll dishes were good overall, but nothing over the top. I definitely recommend it for a nice dinner night out :)“
“I love this place! Good music, Good vibes, it very chill and laid back in here if your into that. No entry fee. Great service! I don't know if it's the same Dj every time, but the Dj that was there the night I went was amazing. Throwbacks and current songs all perfectly mixed together! They even had a Christmas theme going on when I went. It's a great place with great music and drinks without all the chaos. Mixed demographic and everyone is nice and seems to get along. Will be back.“
“Well, well, well Ani Ramen what do you have to say for yourself? Answer me or prepare to fight!! Alright then take this…I hope that it’s mostly good things and positive self talk because you served up some tastiness.Noods and tasty broth really came through on this frigid windswept Jersey City day. The boa buns were soft and savory with some juicy crispity chicken. The little sausages were alright crispy with a slap of bbq.The wait staff delivered the goods with prompt politeness. The atmosphere was chic from the lighting to the tabling.I 100% slurped my way to contentment. One helpful caveat. There be a 3% add on for the payment of the plastic variety, but it’s cool cause this gurl paid in greenbacks.Happy slurping my noodheads ?“
“If you’re looking for an unforgettable night-out with your friends, date or partner, this is a vibey place with electric music, dim-lit ambiance, and hip interiors. Grab some real fancy cocktails and dance the night away to some absolutely fun songs! I love their food as well! They have a beautiful rooftop garden which is open for summers. The oasis with vines and flowers is a pretty sight amidst the urban jungle. Couldn’t get enough of my experience and can’t wait to head there again this summer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
“The food was good, service good; just not 5 star worthy. 20% Tip is included when you get the check so be mindful of that. When my friends and I split the meal with our cards, we were each charged with the 20% tip included. I wish I would have known that prior to us splitting the check.“
“Food and service are def 5 stars. The view and atmosphere here is incredible. Great flavor with a good price for the area. Food comes quick and fresh. The menu is simple, But great. The bar selection is perfect. Seats are comfy and there is plenty of room inside or outside. They work as teams and won’t cut corners, they are always checking on you. Def recommending this place to friends and family. Parking is around the area, and I did not see a valet service. I have reviewed pretty much most restaurant in this area and I and Very happy with my experience here. See you On my next trip.“
“I love this place so, so much. The food is always consistently great, except for the one time one dish was a little overcooked and the bartender/wait staff surreptitiously removed it from our bill when my date and I had only a softly spoken conversation with each other about it (great service). The cocktails are great, too, like really great. The back heated/covered patio is super cute. There are about six really great bar/restaurants I've discovered in JC, and Dullboy is near the top of that last.“
