We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I have been to many hot pot places and this is the very best I have ever been to. It’s one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is always super fresh and delicious, the staff is super amazing, and the ambience is spot on for a fun and relaxing dining experience. To top it all off, I have food sensitivities (gluten free, in particular), but I have never had any issues here. I always get the mushroom soup base. It is soooooo flavorful. I don’t live close, but always try to find excuses to go to American Dream Mall just to dine here!“

She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. But what is compelling me to post this was truly the regarding the service I received here. It brought me to tears!!! Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. “Great Food, Great Service Great Atmosphere. So we were bummed when we saw they closed the original location because how much we loved the place. We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see.
