Cinco De Mayo Bar & Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a great dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. Set in a former large home, the restaurant provides a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Chicken Quesadilla, Chicken Chimichanga, and Camarones Enchipotlados, which come in large portions. The Camarones Enchipotlados are particularly known for the generous amount of shrimp and the delicious flavor of the sauce. The restaurant also features a live mariachi singer, enhancing the overall experience.
While many guests praise the margaritas for their taste and the food for its quality, there have been some complaints regarding additional charges for children and discrepancies in prices, particularly for the appetizer platter. Some reviewers found the chimichangas lacking in meat and flavor. Despite these issues, the restaurant remains a popular spot for families looking to relax and enjoy a meal, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking can be challenging as it is located behind a church, and there is limited wheelchair accessibility due to steps at the entrance.
