“We were treated to a very varied drink experience. The different drinks on the menu helped us sample drinks according to what we were interested in. I have to say the Speakeasy was probably my favorite, especially because of the presentation. Some of the drinks we had were a good combination of different flavors and spirits.“

“Great place or brunch. The service was impeccable and our food came out in great time and was delicious. I loved the ambience. What a gem in Fair Lawn. We ordered the eggs Benedict’s and the Coconut French Toast. So good and perfect for a girls brunch or group gathering.“

“I normally don’t write reviews but this place deserves a nod. To start, we were with some out of town friends who were impressed with the valet parking. Walking in, the staff were super friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do. We sat in their dining nook which is really private, feels like you have the place to yourself. I have always judged a place based on their scampi, and this is what lead me to write this review. Without question, the best plate, period. Annnnddd that’s even after I had to pick out the mushrooms!!?!!! The deserts were great, too.After dinner cocktails in a dimly lit parlor… ha! We’ll be back.“

“A fun place to visit with friends or a date night. They decorated the place for Valentine's Day and even folded the napkins into hearts. The first time I came was for the drinks so we just sat at the bar and ordered chips and guac. It was really good so we came back months later to try their actual food. The steak on the stone was cool because you got to cook it exactly to your liking. The plantains were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the green salsa, as it was bland. I would have just stuck to the original. For the dessert we tried the churros, dulce de leches and the brownie and ice cream. The brownie is a very very small portion but it is also rich and decadant. I would probably recommend putting it on a smaller plate presentation wise. I think I liked the churros the best which had two dipping sauces. Drinks were fun and delicious too.“

“The cafe owner, Sondra, and staff did such an amazing job for our daughter’s baby shower! It could not have turned out any better. They were so accommodating for allergies, even adding new dishes at the last minute as well as vegetarian options. We were not rushed and were treated as family. The food was so delicious and everyone mentioned they wish to return for dinner again. The food was abundant and the chef even treated us to a show as he prepared fresh mozzarella, plating it for a delicious caprese. “My husband and I love this place. We go frequently and sit at the bar to eat and watch hockey. The food is always good and my husband enjoys the beer list, which is updated frequently. A special shout out to John and Brendan behind the bar who always make us feel welcome.“

The 2nd one was in a short glass with another dry lime wedge that tasted different and not as good as the 1st one. Bad lime season so not the bars fault.Parking: Very small parking lot. Few spots in the street. After hours you can park in the post office parking lot across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: None in the front of building. I don't know about the back.“

“I had a birthday party there on Saturday night, November 4. 50 of my closest friends and family were there and raved about everything. The food is out of this world. If you haven’t dined there, do yourself a favor and get there as quickly as you can. Danny runs a very welcoming place for people to gather and share stories. JoJo and Ryan behind the bar are so friendly and accommodating and last night the Koverups played, which just was the icing on the cake. Fabulous band! Will go Back. “Dietary restrictions: I still like the beef but it was actually bison meat. I am on the whole 30 diet. It’s very strict and only allows quality meats, veggies and fruit and that’s it. I was reluctant to get any sort of “fast food”. But I did not find fast food at Bareburger. It’s obviously the highest quality meats and ingredients. I had a double bison burger filled with caramelized onions and avocado and wrapped in collard green wrap. The food was of very high-quality and it was delicious. The bison was lean but not dried out like a hockey puck it was moist and tasty. Overall it was a great choice than a great experience. Even though it was a pick up both the server and bartender that helped me were very helpful and pleasant. As my massage therapist is in town I will be back!“

“Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“

That set a good tone for the evening and we all loved our food. The Waygu burger in particular was amazing and cooked to perfection. The prices are a little high in general, but I would say they are about normal for Ridgewood. They have good cocktails for $18 each and they also have some nice local beers. There is a small side room that it looks like you could rent out, and it looks like it holds like 15 people or so.“
