“We found this place while working in the area and decided to give it a shot. Located on Lock St in Newark. The outside looks inviting with music playing and seating outside. Inside is newly built with plenty of seats and a bar area. The menu is all online as is the ordering. I ordered the Vermont rooster sandwich which comes with fries .. it's a deep fried boneless chicken thigh on a brioche bun with lettuce tomato and pickles with bacon cooked perfectly. My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm. “If you are a fan of Nandos you will like this place! Dont get me wrong, it's not as good but if you want to save yourself the drive to DC. This is a great option. The fries were out of this world! Ask them to put the seasoned salt on them. The chicken had great flavor but i wish it wasn't just a sauce they put on top vs marinating it with it. The other thing that i noticed is you have to buy majority of the menu items separately, which i didn't like too much.“
