“Visited this location with my boyfriend and had a really nice server. Our food took a while but she made sure she came to us and let us know everything was coming out in like about 12 to 15min. She brought us out half our meals because she said she didn't wanted us waiting with nothing. We appreciated that. Other servers at other places would just let people sit but this young lady kept it professional. She explained everything and gave us refills without us even asking!“

“I was searching for a place to go to while waiting for an NJPAC show and this place popped up. It is in Military Park just a few minutes walk from the theater. It is small and casual, not really a place to comfortably hang out for a long time, but great food and friendly service. I tried the shrimp burger (so juicy and huge!) with sweet potato tots (crispy, fresh and delectable). Really enjoyed the food.“

Great atmosphere and the Service was great as well. My bartender, Sara was welcoming, warm and quite skilled. She made me the best old-fashioned I've had in a long time. Believe me, I've had my share of bad ones. It went well with the pizza. Great vibe in this very chill atmosphere.“

“I’m Re-reviewing this location for a 3rd time giving the store back 3 more stars because the female manager today was kind, polite & understanding why my order was messed up. She deserves a few stars because she noticed this is an ongoing issue with staff and student ordering on the mobile app. Please make sure to stress u don’t want any sauce or mayo. And if u do- it’s very Heavy.

**Side Note: the location being closed entirely on Saturdays & Sundays is definitely hurting the business. Most weekends, students look elsewhere for something different then campus food after a long week. Professors and community members alike. Maybe the hours can be looked into? Especially when summer comes along & many students stay Newark residents all year. Thanks :)“

“Great place in Newark for "pastel de feira". Esfihas are not so great but the kibes are delicious. Their croissants are the best though. The sweet ones are the Portuguese croissants and they are a big bigger than the salt croissants. Not that they are salty, but they are neutral and definitely not sweet. The regular croissant is the American croissant and they are smaller in size. Absolutely delicious! Fluffy, buttery, perfect texture that melts it when you eat them. “My wife never been to a white castle due in her life, I got her hooked on the frozen white castle burgers from Sam's club.
I been running to Newark it was the perfect opportunity for her to get fresh burgers and fries. First trip she bought 10 second time it was 20 burgers we had to share the joy ?
First trip the fries seemed stale however the second trip fries just amazing.
Place is a tad run down probably not a very nice neighborhood ?
The employees seemed very nice and took care of things fast and professionally.
