“Been eating with this establishment since it was called Walla Burger. The best burgers I’ve ever had and would not eat a burger elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages are welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Located within Military Park and wheelchair accessible.“
“our absolute favorite restaurant almost anywhere. Best described as new American comfort Food with the twist. The chef is phenomenal. The service is also wonderful and attentive. A generous poor of wine. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.“
“An honest Irish pub that pours a great pint, has lots of young people at night and keeps you occupied with TVs and a huge number of tchotchzkes that remind you this place dates back to the '30's. Oh, the music playing over their system on Friday night was just right for my crowd. If you're looking for a comfortable place to have a drink, this won't disappoint. If you're looking for an upscale bar...well why are you in Newark?“
“Calamari was crunchy but tender & juicy. The fettuccini with short ribs a delicious burst of flavor. For a cocktail I had a violet spritz but I substituted gin for tequila it was amazing to say the least. This is a hidden gem to be completely honest.“
“Last food stop in the airport, before flying back and I'm glad I chose this dinner spot! The burgers are great and the fries too, the service amazing. It's on the pricey end though ($50 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and a bottle of water) but I liked it a lot and would probably come back next time I fly there!“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“Very clean restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by pleasant staff and seated immediately. My server Mira was a delight. She served our meal in a timely manner and checked to see if anything was needed. I enjoyed my meal and service here. Thanks.Kid-friendliness: Very pleasant and patient staff with my child.“
“Very CLEAN restaurant and staff! Enjoy "pinless" ApplePay transactions and super quick service. They have chicken, rice, and salad platters; fresh pizza; dessert; and even natural shea butter at a price so unbelievable I won't write it in this review. There's a tidy restroom that's usually readily available and a beautifully decorated seating area that's perfect for a quick lunch stop. The prices are very reasonable. Anyone with at least $5 can eat here, but for $10 you can eat heartily and leave very full.Customer service here is what anyone should expect of a standard Arabic establishment. Everyone is very polite, non-combative, and very generous. Well known in the neighborhood, Jersey Fried Chicken boasts a cozy and familiar atmosphere and totes a very loyal and loving lot of regular customers.Dietary restrictions: Great options for diabetics and plenty of natural and unprocessed options for someone looking for a real meal.Kid-friendliness: There's a restroom and clean tables with low seats they can eat in with an express bus stop nearby. Perfect location to stop in and have lunch. During the day, it's quiet and calm. There's a school nearby so after those hours things can get a little crowded. Young adults LOVE to come eat here since it's priced well and very conveniently located.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp at the entrance and there are no steps into the restroom. The tables have lightweight unattached chairs that slide out very easily from tables at regular or counter height for your convenience. The counter is a bit tall, but besides plenty of room to move a power chair around, the staff is friendly and the front is easily accessible. Did I mention that the debit reader has a long cord and supports ApplePay and GoogleWallet?“
“Nice spot, good food and the young lady that helped us and the gentleman cooking the food were friendly and helpful! Definitely going back!Loved the Black History Month menuI had the Lauryn Hill Bowl And tasted the Kyrie Irving slider. Also had a smoothie that I can't remember the name of but was really good and mushroom coffee.“
“My experience at this White Castle was very good. The food at this location tastes better than any other White Castle. The sliders and chicken rings are good and I pair them with a Dr Pepper. The store is very clean and the service is alright. The prices are also very reasonable.“
“This Burger King is located near a hub of transportation, and thus it seems, almost always busy. The food is alright, but there occasionally are a vagrant or two taking up seats or even falling asleep in them. One of the night people however, does have a connection to access to homeless services which, according to a conversation I had, has helped a few find either shelters or warming centers.Vegetarian options: Few veggies. Garden Salad. Not much else.Dietary restrictions: Signs posted regarding calories and potential allergens informationParking: Modest sized parking lot to sideKid-friendliness: VeryWheelchair accessibility: Accessable entrance. Sufficient maneuvering room inside.“
“I solely come here for the pizza. This place is Halal, so there is no pork which I like. I typically go to the drive up window, and most of the guys are pretty friendly and laid back. The pizza per slice is currently $2.00. Now, this area is extremely busy, with buses, tractor trailers & loads of cars and ppl walking about. Keep your doors locked and windows up. It's not unusual to be distracted to only find some random guy at your passenger side door! Regardless of this, I do recommend the pizza. Also, they NEVER close!“
“So this is not the closest but it’s the best in customer service in my opinion. I normally have to go shortly after work when I know ANDRE IS THERE HE HAD A GREAT PROFESSIONAL AGENDA great customer service and my orders is always right with him on the mega phone lol any other time after that it’s mediocre customer service and food dose not be exactly what you ordered them knowing when you get home to find out your not gonna want to drive back. I all said this is a great location overall my top choice.“
“I’m Re-reviewing this location for a 3rd time giving the store back 3 more stars because the female manager today was kind, polite & understanding why my order was messed up. She deserves a few stars because she noticed this is an ongoing issue with staff and student ordering on the mobile app. Please make sure to stress u don’t want any sauce or mayo. And if u do- it’s very Heavy. We Thank you!! ?**Side Note: the location being closed entirely on Saturdays & Sundays is definitely hurting the business. Most weekends, students look elsewhere for something different then campus food after a long week. Professors and community members alike. Maybe the hours can be looked into? Especially when summer comes along & many students stay Newark residents all year. Thanks :)“
“Where do I start lol. I've been going here for the last 3 years and decided to give them a review since they have earned it. I been to a lot of fried chicken shops but none have came close to this one. The food is always great never had an issue, they use good quality ingredients. The service is very good always smiling and professional. If you've never been to palace definitely put it on your bucket list you won't be disappointed. There portions are very good too there not cheap like other stores in Jersey.I've lived in New Jersey all my life this place has the best chicken by far. the flavor of that chicken is so good and not too salty. Try there Italian cheeseburger or cheesesteak I usually get those as well. Everything is good can't wait to try some more stuff on there menu. Best chicken in the country hands down.“
“My server was DonnetteAbsolutely loved the server. She was efficient and kind. I ordered the Nashville chicken and waffles. The flavor was good, but I do wish they'd have allowed the chicken more time to drain before adding the sauce. Everything else was great. Good music. Good food. Good atmosphere, and timely service.“
