“Very nice and quiet place with an outstanding menu and service. The food is awesome and delicious. It has coffee and sweet stations, a bar station, and a big dinner room for many customers.
After a few weeks, I came again with my wife and had lunch together. I chose prosciutto and rucola flatbread, which is a delicious rectangular pizza. I recommend it.“

This place seems super new, and I've started stopping by after my classes at NJIT since it's nearby and opens early enough. The baristas/workers have great customer service and are very kind and welcoming! The space is quite small as there's only 4-5 tables, but considering the location, it's good for grab-n-go customers.
The food I've had so far are the blueberry danish, almond croissants, and the classic sandwich. Everything tastes fresh and it's great that the pastries are toasted/hot when they serve it. The drink selection is amazing, and the drinks I've had so far are the best in the area! The drinks seem pretty consistent-tasting too!
This place is my new favorite breakfast spot near campus and I'll be showing all of my friends this place ?“

“The guy that works there is amazing, patient and nice! By far the only employee that actually make sure he’s getting the orders correct. He’s amazing!

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

I was just sitting in my office sipping on a latte that I ordered earlier today and had a moment of joy because it's so good, despite being a few hours old. Their espresso drinks are excellent, their cold brew is excellent, their drip coffee is excellent. And they get fantastic baked goods from a local bakery.“

“So far I have tried only pastries from a bakery and they didn't disappoint, quite opposite. They have the best pastel de nata!!
It is flaky and delicate with balanced sweetness.
A circle pastry with walnuts has a lot of walnuts and not very sweet too.

My wife says I'm a coffee snob. I've been a customer of TM Ward for about 7 years and I am very very happy with the product. They have a lot of varieties, great prices and great coffee. I am always changing up and its rare that I don't like the coffee. There Kona Blend (which has 0% Kona) is currently my favorite its smooth, tasty with a great aroma. Better than actual Kona. They roast to your liking and since I'm not a dark roast fan the coffees are exactly as I like it. I grind all my coffee (even drip coffee) and what a difference that makes. For espresso I get the Portuguese Blend and it tastes like I'm having a coffee in Portugal. You can't go wrong with TM Ward.“

“Red House Roasters is a true find in a rather gritty part of Newark on a small side street parallel with McCarter Highway. For years I thought it was a funky music studio until I actually stopped by. It’s a small beehive of coffee roasting, and you can walk in and shout Hey Richard and Richard , the co-founder and Newark native, will ask you about your coffee preferences and then steer you to the barrels of freshly roasted beans to let you smell and decide. The 12 oz bags generally range from $12-14.“
