The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

The ramen and drinks are always incredible, and the restaurant itself is super cute and a great place to catch lunch or dinner— unfortunately the staff have always been rude. Theyre impatient and mumble when asking questions, and generally aren’t the kindest in communicating with you, which is a shame— I really like this place! I just wish the people were more polite, or at least professional.“

I am shocked that they’ve been in business for more than a year and I just found them now?Being an avid bubble tea lover along with my kids, I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is a hidden gem in the heart of JSQ. The owner is very down to earth and a people person. You won’t step out of that place without a smile. She will make your drink according to your preference. You can make as many adjustments as you’d like and she will do it with a smile.

We ordered 2 Oreo shakes and a latte bubble tea. I ordered them in M size, but she gave me in L size? and still charged me for M. My kids loved their Oreo shakes and I very much enjoyed my latte. I can’t wait to go back and try the other bubble tea flavors and the waffles and crepes.

“Employees were very friendly :) they are have many selections on their menu. I ended up getting the Mango cream cheese drink. And I also got a chocolate mocha donut with chocolate rice crispy on top. It was soft and delicious definitely coming back. They also give you a little card for everytime you visit they stamp it and on your 10th visit you get the drink for free.“

Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. This cute little place is located on Washington, between 5th and 6th St. What I particularly like about Gong Cha is that they have seasonal items (variety of mango-themed teas in the spring and early summer and pumpkin line up in the fall). My second favorite thing about Gong Cha is that you are in control of your sugar intake, e.g you can pick 25%, 50%, 75% etc level of sugar. Same principle applies to ice levels.“
