“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“The guy that works there is amazing, patient and nice! By far the only employee that actually make sure he’s getting the orders correct. He’s amazing!

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

“worker at the store who took my order was super nice, prices are reasonable too, but the space was a little small (doesn't really matter if you want to take out), they also take tap/apple pay if you don't carry cash, drink itself was very good too (i got the brown sugar black milk tea, medium) though it was too sweet at the bottom, but you just have to mix the sugar in with the tea first, definitely recommend coming to this place!“

“This is one amazing bubble tea place in Rahway and it is right in front of the train station. They have unique milk teas like the Hokkaido and Okinawa milk tea which give me the chance to try new flavors. They have a cozy sit out area.
This is a female led business and the owner Ginelle is very welcoming and kind.

They are also offering a free ice cream scoop this summer!!“

PROS:
1. Kim and her husband Mr. Fu run the place and are great. My son dropped one of the sauces all over the floor, and they cleaned it up for him with a smile.
2. SO many topping options to choose from - and you can put in as many as you want. So the poke bowl portions are very generous.
3. The ambiance is cozy and open. We've eaten here with family and friends on more than one occassion.

CONS:
1. Their sushi burrito isn't as big as, let's say, a Chipotle burrito. So don't be expecting that. We stick with the build your own poke bowls and always enjoy it.

“Employees were very friendly :) they are have many selections on their menu. I ended up getting the Mango cream cheese drink. And I also got a chocolate mocha donut with chocolate rice crispy on top. It was soft and delicious definitely coming back. They also give you a little card for everytime you visit they stamp it and on your 10th visit you get the drink for free.“

“Great spot for Bobba tea. It was simply delicious. What I liked even more was that it was a 90-degree day, and the ice lasted in my drink, unlike other spots where it melts quickly. The poke bowl (I got the medium), I was truly amazed at the portion size. It's definitely worth the money considering. Good place to try out if you're in the area.“

“I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. This place is highly recommended by me. 10 stars“

“Really liked the bubble tea and Co flavour options here. You have the option of selecting the percentage of sugar you want in your tea & whether or not you want ‘bubbles ‘ in it. The lady at the counter was pleasant and gave us all the va options. I liked that they have non-dairy milk as well and it tasted as good. The Thai tea is my favourite
We also tried the Taiwanese sausage and it was quite nice.

“This is really good bubble tea. Better than any spot I’ve had in NJ and rivaling NYC. I like that you get actual tea in the drink (it tastes like it) rather than just a powder. “This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often.
