“Tried three drinks here and overall it was a really solid experience. The milk teas were smooth and creamy. The boba had a nice chewy texture so it felt fresh.
The yogurt tea in the middle was refreshing and light, perfect if you don’t want something too heavy. You can taste the yogurt instead of just sugar, which is a big plus.
Packaging was cute and clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Portion size felt fair for the price. Overall, a great spot to hang out with friends and try different flavors. Would definitely come back to explore more options.“

“I love Heytea and this place was great. This time I tried the brown sugar milk boba without the tea since I can’t have caffeine. It was really good. I think the milk was thicker than I expected. I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. Went through the menu and wanted to try the tiramisu latte… great location very close to Empire State and other things.. Pricing was OK.. was about 8 to 9 dollars for a latte, including tips.. slightly higher than regular coffee shops, but good for once in a while, flavored coffee.. tiramisu latte was actually very good.. He did put some small quantity of rum on it and it tasted so good… also tried taro boba and it was good . Looks like a Taiwan based coffee shop… it was surely different and refreshing.. good experience.. 4 stars ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

- Flavor: Fair selection available. I get Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. The tea has nice hints of bitterness. Texture-wise, more like a tea diluted with milk than the creaminess of an incorporated milk tea.
- Boba: Lower amount of Boba. Although the Boba has nice elasticity, they're too small so you can usually only chew once.
- Price: An average bubble tea (7$ overall, 2026) compared to what I consider the average price (7-8$)
- Overall - it takes the average up a notch for an overall nice bubble tea but doesn't have the kind of pull that would make me go out of my way to get one.

- Extra - They also serve ice cream and have an extended store area which would be fine for quick hangouts.“

Extensive menu with plenty of fruit slush options (no milk), smoothies (with milk), bowls, or boba. I'd prob rec not getting the boba, since nyc is blessed with boba-specific spots lol

I just finished a workout, so I opted for their large Powerful Chia ($11), which had banana, mango, pineapple, and chia seed. I got almond milk, since they didn't have oat milk at the time. Price point was relative on par with other chains. You can add Orgain organic protein for +$1.

All ingredients are blended right in front of you, which is always great to see. Overall, would return to a Hawa!“

Eddie the owner and his family run the spot and heavily involved in the community.
