“One reason I love Yelp? The large swath of opinions just inches from each other. Scrolling the reviews for Pora and you'll see, "Thee worst ramen I've ever had. so bland and flavorless," mighty close to, "Possibly the best mall foodcourt ramen I've ever had!!" (I'm not sure if that extra "e" for The/Thee in the former has more 'weight' to it than the extra exclamation points in the latter.) What I can bring to the discussion... the Mrs. absolutely loves ramen and she loves this place. If we're bound for this mall and looking for grub? It'll always be ramen and she'll scoff if you dare to use any utensil besides chopsticks. As for a simple guy that doesn't really know much about ramen? Two visits spaced a year or so apart. Both times getting their vegetarian option. Flavor... first time was 'hmmm, okay' (too much corn, a bit boring), second time was 'oohhhh damn!' (less corn, and it packed a punch from the first slurp to the very last). Pricing... for the hefty (heavy) portion of (scolding hot) soup loaded with noodles and finely-diced veggies - more than fair. Deceptively filling. In this food court my heart belongs to Falafel, Inc. - but Pora isn't too far behind. (Oh, and just between us: I wasn't having much luck with just chopsticks and had to cheat with a spoon!)“
“If you like soup, you'll love it here! I had the vegetable soup and added chicken. Miso base and noodles were flavorful and thick! They put bok choy only, wish I had other vegetables but that did not stop how tasty it was! My husband had the beef noodle. The beef was so soft and flavorful beef broth and had bok choy. I'm glad it came in bowls you can take home. I ate the rest later that day!“
“Stopped by HLS in AD to get my favorite mango sago. Did the order thru kiosk. Order was ready in few minutes. Bowl was full of mango and sago. Sago tasted real good. Mangoes were little sour. Also should have had more mango to match to quantity of sago. Nevertheless, me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. The store was clean. Lots of were sitting around and having a good time with their HLS desserts and drinks.“

The store was very clean and welcoming, and the manager, (Mark, I think?) was very attentive and detailed in answering all the questions I had, (and believe me, I had a lot!) I could tell he was knowlegable and passionate, and I’m excited to visit again.“
“I'm seeing the bad reviews, and I can see how a place like this isn't going to be top of the game for much of their food. I wonder if our experience was different because we got there right when they opened. We got the veggie noodles with sesame sauce, which I thought was actually pretty good. It's not super flavorful, and the flavors aren't popping or anything, and they could probably do with some salt, but it was piping hot and fresh. Didn't get anything else, so can't speak to that. But I think this place is trying to be too many things - they have a lot of items on their menu. Uncertain whether I'd go back, since there are so many options for food in this mall, but it was a fairly decent experience.“
“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“

“I visited during the grand opening special and ordered a bubble tea and a taro bubble tea! I think both tasted good, nothing special, but I did like the chewy texture of the boba! I also thought the staff were very welcoming and nice! They gave me a boba plushy keychain and a donut as part of their promotion! The space is a bit small inside but has a few stools to sit! This is a great addition to the bubble tea options in this area!“

“Love the milk teas here! I always get one when I'm at this mall. (I think there was a different bubble tea shop here before but no matter, they're both really good.) Taro or brown sugar milk teas with boba are my usual tried & trues, but I had a lavender milk tea with lychee jelly recently and it's fantastic! The lavender is subtle and the jelly is ambrosial. Sounds like a bizarre combination but it works! They also do fruit teas and slushies. Would love it if they add rose tea in the future. There is only one size and it's large - the cup quality is nice, not the flimsy kind of flexible plastic that are used at so many bubble tea places. I can actually keep it and reuse. Service was quick and very friendly. I didn't get the name of the girl who took my order but she was lovely. The location is on the 1st floor of the hall section connecting the main mall area to Nickelodeon Universe.“
