“Walked by this place a million times and finally went to try their inari sushi because I've never had it before, I regret not going earlier, the sushi was great, the restaurant is cozy, and I couldn't ask for better service, I'm not a buddle tea fan but I will definitely be returning for the food alone, looking forward to trying their different options“

“Store layout is great! Would be a really good hangout place if no covid to worry about. Their "cold signature milk tea" is the HK style tea and different than the other bubble tea you had. Highly recommend the "curry fish ball" and their egg waffle (we had the classic style). Will definitely visit again!“

“EDIT#2: I finally got to try the new Papaya Mango Coconut slush and it was really good with alot of papaya flavor and pieces of the papaya fruit. That drink is a 5 stars one. As usual, the Peach Four Season Fusion is also great.

EDIT: The store reached out and apologized fairly quickly and rectify their mistake. This was appreciated so thank you. When the fusion fruit teas are made properly it is definitely 5 stars. The peach and mango teas are really good. I tried the drink they gave me by accident and some of the bobas in the drink were a bit too hard for me. Felt like the center wasn’t thoroughly cooked through. I like the soft chewy type more.

This Teazzi is horrible. Last time I ordered from here my drinks were diluted. It was towards closing time so maybe they were running out of tea but they should have mentioned something when I picked up or make something else. This time the drinks were not as diluted but they gave me a wrong drink and I didnt noticed until I got home. I got someone else’s milk tea and I am missing the papaya drink which is way more expensive than what I was given. DOUBLE CHECK your order!“

HEYTEA (Long Island City) Bubble Tea • $$
42-20 27th St, Long Island City

“HeyTea in Long Island City brings the brand's signature drink lineup to the area, and for fans of the menu it is a welcome addition.

The drinks themselves are the main draw and largely deliver. The Coconut Mango Boom is the standout order and comes loaded with a generous chunk of actual mango that makes the whole thing feel more substantial than your average fruit tea. The Triple Matcha is another strong option for anyone looking for a matcha drink. Toppings are consistently chewy and the flavor balance across most of the lineup leans on the lighter, less sweet side, which works well.

The atmosphere is cozy and the space has a comfortable feel to it that makes it easy to settle in for a bit. Staff are generally efficient and straightforward, which suits the format well.

Where things get complicated is the wait. This location runs long on order times fairly regularly, and during busier stretches or when delivery orders are stacking up, a single drink can take thirty to forty minutes.

If you are already a HeyTea regular the Long Island City location is a convenient option for the area, and the menu quality holds up to what the brand does elsewhere. Just plan accordingly on timing and you will leave happy.“

Once had to put in a large group order and they completed everything on time and packaged everything together very well. I love the variety of vegetarian options and always add cilantro to everything. I really like the mushroom banh mi sandwich.“
