“PYO Chai is such a cool place for anyone to enjoy desi flavors for bubble tea! I really appreciate the thought that went into the decoration and wall art, and the menu is very diverse and unique. They seem to have a lot of specialty flavor combinations, which makes each experience different. A heads up for anyone who is lactose intolerant, they are not able to adjust the milk of the chai, but they can for the boba options. They were kind enough to make a rose milk tea with earl grey and oat milk for me, even though it wasn’t on the menu! The flavors were really nice and well balanced, but the bubbles were difficult to chew and not the greatest quality. I’d definitely like to try more of the menu when I’m around!“

“This is a great restaurant. The owner and staff are very kind and serve amazing dishes. I could definitely taste my beef noodle soup was made with fresh ingredient and homemade noodles. Everything was perfectly spiced. Will definitely come here more often.“

“When every Chinese FOB within a three-mile radius flocks to the same boba spot, you know they’re onto something.
I found myself coming back more times than I’d like to admit for their House Special Milk Tea—a strangely addictive blend of oats, milk, tea, and perfectly chewy boba. It shouldn't work, but it absolutely does.“

“The sandwich and salad we ordered were fresh and delicious. The iced coffee was perfectly brewed and tasted great too. Order ahead if yourbin a rush as everything is prepared fresh, so it takes a few minutes longer. Excellent place! I will stop again when I'm in the area!“
“Really soft and eggy egg tarts, but pricey
- Caramel egg tart ($4.5): 9/10, texture and flavor are 10/10, but deducted points for price. Really flakey crust
- Coffee tiramisu egg tart ($4.5): 11/10, tiramisu wasn’t overpowering, and it was so soft!! Not too sweet. Egg tart is super soft and eggy :) Would def get again - literally a combo of my fav two desserts“

“Nice fusion place. The ramen is pretty decent and the teriyaki is good. Chicken wings are good and crunchy. They are pretty quick with orders whether you dine in or carry out. Fairly broad choices on the menu with lots of popular street food options and everything we've tried was at least pretty good or better. The boba tea here is also good and they let you select how much ice you want and what % of sweetness you like. All around solid place and I'm glad they're here.“
“A big shout out for the staff especially the manager Renee! Stopped by the LIC Heytea and had a great experience. The store was packed because of the promotion, but the staff were still very patient and professional. Drinks were fresh and delicious. Appreciate the team working hard during such a busy time.“

“Cute place with delicious teas ??. First picture is of Pineapple Green Tea the next pictures are of Passion fruit green tea. The latter is very sweet even if it wasn't with sweetness 100% the former definitely less sweet but both were tasty and the price is also reasonable.“

“I came here for a bite with one of my friends after a morning workout class and it wasn't a bad spot! Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it's a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It's much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick.
Their menu contains banh mi, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and a variety of drinks (as well as baked goods in their displays). I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and super warm. They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.“

“The service was lovely, Bonita was so kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. I really loved the selection of desserts in the secret box which was a fun way to try new desserts I may not have ordered otherwise and the Penang duck curry was amazing“
