“Hands down the BEST service I’ve ever experienced at a boba place*the boba shop worker put the straw into our boba drinks for us & says “try the drink. I want to make sure that you like it before you leave” how thoughtful is that?! impeccable service*the cashier was funny & chatty- great banterHighly recommend, would rate 6 stars if we could“
“I really love this place for their brown sugar coffee especially. It’s fairly hard to find so its so nice to have a place near my apartment to get tasty brown sugar coffee from for a very good price. All of their drinks are priced super reasonably and will run you >7$ for large sizes at most.“
“Highly recommend coming here. Weng and his wife started it over 15 years ago. They both work six days a week and take a lot of pride in what they do. You don’t find many places like this in New York City with people who have such passion for their businesses.“
“I tried the Wintermelon Milk w/ Boba and the Peach Yakult w/ Lychee Jelly (as provided on the Staff Reccs Menu) and they were both amazing— Personally like the Wintermelon one more because I wanted something with milk but both were great. The staff were exceptional and overheard that my girlfiend and I had never really tried Wintermelon before, and they jumped to give us a sample of the tea. First off, amazing to see that there were no added sugars and that all the components of their drinks were individually perfected. We ended up ordering and got our drinks pretty quickly, but while we waited one of the staff members offered us a sample of their pudding topping. It was great to try and extremely kind of the staff to offer, especially because there was no incentive for them to do so as we had already ordered. You can tell that the staff really care about making a great business. They haven’t been open for too long, and I hope they receive lots of support so I can go back and try more of the drinks they have to offer. In terms of seating, they don’t offer any, but you can easily walk around the area and find some or walk while drinking. You can also get a stamp card to get a discount on your tenth return!TLDR: Amazing drinks, not too sweet, very refreshing. A great pick me up. Relatively not the cheapest but it’s some of the best you’re getting, especially in Manhattan. Definitely something to try. Staff are amazing and will let you try samples.Kid-friendliness: Amazing Environment“
“This place is amazing! The decorations are so colorful and adorable, immediately giving it a cheerful atmosphere, and I really loved how much space there was, with each table large enough to comfortably accommodate any of the games from their impressive selection. The bubble tea is so delicious as well! I've been to a lot of board game cafes and this is easily top of the list. :)Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids enjoying the fun games and friendly atmosphere“
“A fantastic dessert shop that specializes in all things mango! The atmosphere is cozy. I tried the mune A8, and was blown away by the freshness and flavor. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. If you're a fan of mango or just looking for a delicious treat, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to go back!---“
“The portions were really big and the chicken sandwich was delicious. you can tell the chicken was fried fresh and the sauce was so tasty on the soft bun. the beef noodle soup was also super flavorful and the meat was tender. good quick, casual meal.“
“Superb beef noodle soup. Delicious broth and extremely tasty beef. I'm addicted and the best thing is it's just as good if you order it for delivery, because they separate the noodles and the vegetables from the broth, so that when you combine them it is hot and fresh as if it just came out of the kitchen.“
“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“
“Went to Pata Cafe for lunch in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. Looking for authentic Thai? You'll find dishes here that are hard to find in the ??. NY Times and Michelin recommended for casual authentic Thai fare.Had Thai Lychee tea and Yum Woon Sen. Sweet and complex flavor for the tea. Spicy, tangy, earthy, and herby flavors for the dish. Too full for dessert! The wife had the beef soup.Only seats 12 people max. Cash or Venmo only. Lots of free street parking on a Saturday. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most dishes dairy freeParking: Found parking right in front immediately on a Saturday for lunch“
“I reviewed this place when it first opened and it was amazing and well needed in the community and it is still an amazing place. Previous comment about treating people of color different has not been my experience as a person of color. They are always friendly and extremely respectful and they even remember my name. Again I love this place.“
“The pandan latte changed my life, cleared my skin, put $1000 in my bank account, and made me weep from joy. Such a complex and tasty flavor that is enhanced by the espresso! Can’t wait to get another one it’s all I’ve thought about today.“
“Pearl Dynastea is so good!! I've tried quite a few menu items but my favorite is the Passion fruit slushy with the popping mango boba and I LOVE it!! Friendly staff, delicious drinks and yummy food! Don't forget to get your Loyalty punch card, buy 9 drinks and get the 10th drink free. This is my 3rd Loyalty Card and Pearl Dynastea drinks never disappoint! I“
“Top mochi doughnuts, with beautiful texture and flavor, our favorite was the ube (not too sweet hehe) and the taro boba oat milk latte was so good i ordered a second one. Nice clean spot to hang out and have a sweet treat.Super appreciate the non dairy options too as lactose and i are currently frenemies.“
“OOPS TEA IS THE BEST IN BUSHWICK!!!!! staff is so friendly, attentive, and overall amazing! the tofu pockets are UNREAL and you can tell they’re made with love <3 not to mention the bubble tea is so amazing and refreshing. also the ambience and decorations are SO cute. definitely recommend! ?????“
“Food is great! Tom kha could use more vegetables. There weren't mushrooms or tomatoes in mine. Only onions. But it tasted good. Veggie rolls were fine. A bit overdone, but for the price were okay. Overall liked the food. Had it via delivery, so it might be 5 stars in person.“
“I stopped by because the posters on the outside drew me in. It's a small and cutely decorated boba and ice cream shop. There was only 1 person working at the time but I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Since it's small, there are not many places to sit, so most people do to-go orders. I ordered an item from each category: * Grapefruit Green Tea Boba - 9/10 - I liked the grapefruit pulp that was mixed into the boba, because of the different textures. The 50% sugar was the perfect amount of sweetness. * Almond Chocolate Croffle - 7/10 - The croffle tasted a bit stale and it was cold, so I don't think they make it fresh. But, I did like the toppings. * Lychee Rose Ice Cream - 8/10 - I liked the small pieces of lychee throughout the ice cream and the rose flavor was not overbearing. Overall, I would come again to try the boba floats. I think they shine more for their drinks than anything else.“
“This place is amazing!!!! The workers are soo nice and their snacks are delicious. I love their bubble tea it is super yummy and they make it quick. I love the thai iced tea which is my go-to drink. The mood of the place is amazing you can tell your food/drink is going to be great. The aisles are covered with delicious asian snacks and they even have frozen things like ice cream. They have a good selection of snacks and ramen, etc. I love the tea time light outside on the window. You can ask for no ice and a low level of sugar which is perfect since I prefer less sugary drinks. I recommend the three sisters, tea time signature, thai iced tea, and the build your own fruit tea.“
“I absolutely love this place and then I walked in. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and very knowledgeable, and each Tea that they produce. I was so surprised as to how many options they have in the store. I ordered the raspberry tea with Boba. Thank you for your help and the experience that I deserved . I am absolutely grateful and I will be coming back a lot often“
“Honestly the best boba in bay ridge with the best service. We got their signature taro root and the strawberry milk. Both was delicious.Their customer service is also top notch, replacing a drink after dropping it and exploding in the store. Their immediate response and reply was great.Atmosphere is also super fun with board games and other things to do. The space is large enough to not feel cramped and Their decor is super inviting and attractive !“
“This was the winner of my little bubble tea showdown. It was a close call, but their tea led them to victory. My theory is that bubble tea should taste like tea. Even though this tiny hole in the wall is off the beaten path, they are most definitely getting the job done.“
“It’s downstairs in the market. It’s tight with no seating just for them but some in the open area. But it’s very crowded on a weekend. Just ordered one and it was ready fast. Checked in on yelp for 10% off.I got the classic with signature cream half sweet. Usually I am good with half sweet but for this one the tea flavor is a little strong so maybe I should have gotten 75% sweet. Still good though. They tell you to shake it up. They just call out the drinks. Not your name or a number. If they are making them fast enough, they shouldn’t have any mix ups.I do like they will sub your milk without additional fee.“
“They were nice, I found it cuz I was getting a facial not too far from here & just happened to find it. I wanted to try something different so I tried the mango milk tea & it was good. There were people that came in after me & everyone ordered the waffles. I wasn't in the mood for waffles but I asked if it was good, they said it's really good. I saw a connect 4 & some books so I'm assuming you can sit and enjoy while playing or reading. When I go back I'll try the waffles.“
“A total hidden gem! Tried their steam pork dumplings with garlic and cilantro, and they were top-notch fresh, not greasy, and perfectly balanced. Washed it down with a cold lemon tea for good measure. Seriously, if you're craving some amazing dumplings, this spot is where it's at.“
“Tea is great. Kenny will work with you to customize a drink, or make something you dream up, but do yourself a favor and try something from their imaginative and thought-through signature menu.Kenny is a real one. Service with a smile and chill conversation. A natural part of the neighborhood, this place will one day be a local fixture.Beautiful, clean, aesthetic atmosphere in this little space in Chinatown. Nice place to sit and relax on a rainy day or catch some shade and a cool drink in the dog days of summer.“
“Excellent in all its aspects, the only thing is that the place is a little small, but this does not really matter nor does it affect the quality of their products, the service is very good and fast, especially Annie's attention ?Thai Milk Tea recommended“
“This place has it all. Great food, amazing selection of coffee, great service and atmosphere.Whether you come here to work or just spend some time the vide is there. Seating is available for the most part but sometimes it gets crowded. Also, good options for seating if someone prefers to chill on armchair next to the heater and just read something.Just a side note, the coffee can be improved a little compared to what other nearby places offer.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options to choose from.“
“Could not have been a better experience. Victor (I believe his name is) greeeted is and wished us a Happy Holiday. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly Donburi and the Ebi Tama Donburi and absolutely loved both of them. The pork belly was tender and succulent, a wonderful combo with the rice and greens. The Ebi Taka was shrimp tempura along with egg and rice. Both of the portions were large! I had the chocolate boba. a perfect balance to the saltier entree. We'll be back!“
“Has its own entrance and Manu, but is connected indoors to the neighboring ramen shop. Extensive menu that includes hot food appetizers. Has the typical toppings and requisite menu options for your standard bubble tea shop and good flavors.“
“I found this little Vietnamese cafe. I ordered the salad noodle bowl with grilled chicken and a smoothie. I really liked the rice noodle, it’s really fresh and matches well with the sauce. Cafe was spacious with plentiful of seats. I would come back again ?“
“This is one of the best places to get a healthy smoothie, juice, shots or açaí bowls. I’ve came here twice and they have not disappointed. They have very fast service and they also don’t have one of those overwhelming menus. The smoothies they make are flavorful and just rich in protein I loved their açaí pitaya bowl. I would definitely have it again.I’d recommend them if you’re looking for healthy snack or a pick me up after a long night.“
“Since we randomly visited any cheesecake place, we didn’t expect the cafe. But the cheesecake was good. For me, their waffle was the best because it was very fluffy and chewy. The waffle gave me quite a rare experience and I loved it.Even though I do not recommend visiting here just to come here, if you go by here by any chance, you should try the cafe. Enjoy the rare waffle and small and cute interior.“
“Want tea around NYU campus? Sip perfection with customized drinks like Unforgivable and Chijito here at Chihiro Tea. Best tea in the neighborhood! Cute, cozy interior, though a bit cramped with students. Don't miss the NYU student discount. A must-visit oasis, especially in steamy summer!“
“Cute little shop hidden away! I got the passion fruit green tea, which was made fresh. The drink was super refreshing and I really like how they use real fruit. The packaging is also so cute and the service was pretty quick. Definitely want to come back to try their other drink flavors and the boba.“
“What a wonderful spot! The owner is so kind and truly attentive to his customers. The prices are actually really great for such healthy options. The menu has a lot of options from food to drinks. The owner is food conscious so the foods quality is great and allows it to be affordable. Highly Recommend!!“
“We went to the city to pick up family, and my husband wanted to eat. OMG, the chicken wings and drumsticks were exceptional. Double battered fried chicken ?. Crisp, however so juicy and NOT dry. The chicken is made to order and that keeps it FRESH. The dipping sauces were so flavorful too. Tried the kimchi and it didn't disappoint. We live in Westchester and look forward to driving to NYC soon.“
“the cuisine is always head and shoulders above other thai restaurants. delicate without overwhelming portions the food is sure to keep your taste buds happy and alive. I also had the luck of being served by Mai an exquisite woman whose elegance grace and vast knowledge of Thai culture has never steareded me wrong. A true asset to the establishment. so go and enjoy the food and great service with Mai“
“Being Korean myself and working as a professional chef for 3 years, I say with total sincerity that this location has some of the BEST Korean food I've had in my life. For the price, you truly get your money's worth. The portions are generous and food beyond flavorful. And as if that wasn't enough, the owner was kind as to offer me a free soda beverage. I wish this place great success, and I'll definitely be back!“
“I visited I'Milky with friends after a hotpot dinner in Chinatown! It wasn't too busy inside (Sunday night) and there was plenty of seating for everyone. it was a great place to sit, enjoy our drinks, and chat about before we separated.I would definitely recommend I'Milky. I ordered a large fresh milk taro with boba. The boba was sweet and chewy, but the star was really the fresh taro! It isn't the stereotypical taro drink, which usually comes out as purple (and most real taro I've seen aren't purple but a milky white color). You can't adjust the sugar in the drink, but I honestly thought the sugar in the drink itself was perfect! I was always really excited to drink up real taro chunks and found the milk really frothy and a great complement to the taro. The drink was a bit pricey at about ~$10 after tax, but definitely a special treat. I'd get this drink again, but there were many other items on the menu that I really want to try!“
“Heard a lot of great things about this place but unfortunately I couldn't go to their locations due to the weather. So I ordered in the coco latte with oat milk and it was perfect for the rainy weather felt cozy. Had a sweet tooth and was craving some cake. I was kind of hesitant to order the tiramisu because of the powder usually gets my throat. But, i'm glad I got it - was perfectly made and went well together with my drink. Not overly sweet. Can't wait to try other items from the menu next time!!“
“I was recommended by a friend of mine.As a bubble tea lover, I like to order matcha latte and regular milk tea with no sugar and less iceThe atmosphere is bright and simpleAfter I ordered, I got a stamp - 10 stamps get one free drink. Nice deal for royal customersOne time I forgot to bring the card stamp, and asked for it. The staff friendly reminded me that I should have brought the card every time. So I always keep it in my wallet and I got 10!Vegetarian options: Go with the tea and bobas without milk“
“So far everything I've ordered from here is delicious. My friends and I love the Gelato, macaroons, their keylime pie is so rich. Overall great experience ordering - I have never been in store for the experience but that may change soon.“
“They serve both hot and cold drinks! It’s tucked inside a run down food court but the lady is very sweet. I was looking for something hot to drink after my hypothermia inducing run and came across this little gem. They have a kiosk if you don’t have cash to order and pay for drinks. Thanks Zhen Pin Cafe, you saved me from a trip to the hospital and probably a very high medical bill too ?“
“I was really craving a mango pomelo sago and it's kind of hard to find at boba shops so glad they had it was really good! I did 50% sugar and was still sweet. I ordered the pork rice dish but unfortunately they were out of rice so I got it over noodles which were still really good (a little bit salty tho).I'm curious to try their other drinks like the taro or chestnut ones.“
“Excellent noodles and dim sum in LIC. So rare to find knife-sliced noodles and hand-pulled noodles, especially at this quality. If you like chewy noodles, the knife-sliced are a must-try. Dim sum is also consistently great, try the lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice. Hope this place stays open forever.“
“I always get the brown sugar milk tea! It's not too sweet and not too bitter. It's just right and refreshing replacement for my normal coffee. LolKid-friendliness: Very kind friendly menu.Parking: It really depends on the time of day. If you can you really want to go before or after kids get out of school. Otherwise the parking is insane because it's rush hour. Try to go Around 11-2 And I've never had trouble finding parking.“
“We love coming to this location. They have a huge selection of plushies and it wasn’t too hard to win the minis. We saw a couple get real lucky, winning almost all the ball ones in just a couple of tries.Don’t skip the popcorn chicken, honey butter fries, and whipped boba. So good!“
“Great new place that opened recently. Trendy atmosphere, very clean, and the owner is very kind. We ordered a grapefruit ade and a custard + red bean taiyaki. The taiyaki was heavenly, definitely recommend. Homemade batter, not too sweet, delicious filling. Mochi like texture. Definitely coming back!“
“4.5/5! Came here with my friend on a weekend afternoon and there was a short line but the line moved pretty quickly. I got their milk tea + two rice balls combo and I chose the oolong black milk tea with bubble for the milk tea and the tempura shrimp and fried chicken for the rice ball toppings. Their oolong black milk tea with bubble was probably my favorite bubble milk tea in the city. The tea was very high quality for a bubble tea place and I loved how the bubbles were not overly sweetened. The rice balls on the other hand were only okay. I felt like there were not enough toppings in the rice ball and the rice ball were also not pressed firmly when they were made and they were falling apart when I ate them and created a mess. Highly recommend this place for their bubble tea but probably not the food!“
“Posting an updated review. Come here often to Max Bakery for it is a family favorite. Reasons why? -it's near the train station. Grab your bun and go up the stairs to the 90th Street train station to take the 7 train. -Reasonable prices.-Fish sandwich are currently $3 bucks. Size has not changed like some of other shops.-Lots of buns have gone down in price. Now $1.25As you walk in door. You are greeted by friendly staff. There is an area that you can sit and eat after purchase. Will be back here again for sure.“
