“I've never had Gong Cha before, even though there's so many franchises all over you go. I can't believe it, myself. So, I decided to try it here while I had the craving for one. The line wasn't so bad, but once I turned around, there was one. The employees were nice enough. Not overly friendly, but just right. They had a lot of different choices, and the prices were the same as other places like tiger sugar. I liked how you can customize the drinks to less ice and less sugar, which is what I did. If you give your phone number, they track your status that way. Before you know it, you'll get a free drink or a discounted one.“

“I tried the Wintermelon Milk w/ Boba and the Peach Yakult w/ Lychee Jelly (as provided on the Staff Reccs Menu) and they were both amazing— Personally like the Wintermelon one more because I wanted something with milk but both were great.The staff were exceptional and overheard that my girlfiend and I had never really tried Wintermelon before, and they jumped to give us a sample of the tea. First off, amazing to see that there were no added sugars and that all the components of their drinks were individually perfected.We ended up ordering and got our drinks pretty quickly, but while we waited one of the staff members offered us a sample of their pudding topping. It was great to try and extremely kind of the staff to offer, especially because there was no incentive for them to do so as we had already ordered.You can tell that the staff really care about making a great business. There was only 1 person working at the time but I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Since it's small, there are not many places to sit, so most people do to-go orders. I ordered an item from each category: * Grapefruit Green Tea Boba - 9/10 - I liked the grapefruit pulp that was mixed into the boba, because of the different textures. The 50% sugar was the perfect amount of sweetness. * Almond Chocolate Croffle - 7/10 - The croffle tasted a bit stale and it was cold, so I don't think they make it fresh. But, I did like the toppings. * Lychee Rose Ice Cream - 8/10 - I liked the small pieces of lychee throughout the ice cream and the rose flavor was not overbearing. Overall, I would come again to try the boba floats. I think they shine more for their drinks than anything else.“

We got the bulgogi rice bowl and a make your own bowl with fried chicken. Both had generous heaping portions of meat. I would say my appetite is fairly large and I couldn't even finish half of my bowl! The bulgogi was tender and juicy, and the vegetables that came with my bowl were delicious. The make your own bowl was also phenomenal! The cucumber kimchi and pickled turnips were some of my favorites. It may look like a Japanese ramen place from outside, given all these shabby and confusing lanterns, but it is actually a really good Chinese noodle restaurant. I would say their takeout is not as good as dine-in because the noodles are cooked a bit more being steamed in the container. So if you want to try, please come in-person.
