“Today I crave for Iddy’s cafe and I noticed to try something new. The Chicken Katsu and my boyfriend had the Oxtail meal, so far the Chicken Katsu is one of my favorite meals (besides the oxtail empanadas lol) would recommend more people to try it and explore their other foods. I heard the owner plan more foods to come on the way so I am looking forward to it“

“yeah sure the boba is fine and fun but at this specific location it’s always the KINDEST STAFF IN THE WORLD i adore them. i don’t come here often but they remember my order and they are so sweet to my friends and I when we come here nobody say antsy thing mean about them they are my kindness support staff!!!“

“i tried the mango milk and my gf had matcha milk. we also got nuggets, mozzi sticks, fries and i think my gf got a eel onigiri. i cant speak for the onigiri cause i didnt try it but all of the food was hot and crispy and honestly the nuggets gave better mcd nuggets. and it was all pretty affordable. we got all that for under 35$ if i remember correctly. the drinks were sweet and creamy but a good price for the size.“

“As the title says… they make great boba and fries. One thing I don’t like though is how sugary their drinks are but you can modify that. The coconut milk tea and spicy fries are so good. The staff is really sweet and it’s a nice place to hang out since it’s never too busy.“

“Came here on a Friday at 1 PM to get a tarot milk hot tea. On the menu it says it’s $6.50 for a large and somehow my total came out to $7.60. When I asked it was because it’s an additional $.50 because the tea is hot. My drink was delicious. It could’ve been a little bit hotter, but honestly, it was the right temperature so you could immediately drink it. Unfortunately, I was walking outside and it got cold halfway through my walk. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the cashier who was taking my order. I was trying to ask what was in their holiday drinks and I wasn’t able to get a clear answer. There was a number of food model that were on the counter, not super appetizing.“

“Store layout is great! Would be a really good hangout place if no covid to worry about. Their "cold signature milk tea" is the HK style tea and different than the other bubble tea you had. Highly recommend the "curry fish ball" and their egg waffle (we had the classic style). Will definitely visit again!“

“I love this cafe. Their pastries are made everyday by the couple that owns this shop. My mom loves it here bc she is diabetic and their goods aren’t over sugared at all. You can still taste the baked goods without the extra sugary sweetness their lava bread is to die for by the way!“

“We happened to be closer to this location (than the one in downtown Flushing) after dinner so decided to walk here to have some tea. The location was clean, no one was in line, and we were able to make our orders quickly.

The staff was courteous and efficient, and we received our drinks as ordered and they were good. They even gave us a punch card that was filled out to start working toward a free drink.

As part of a major chain, you'll get pretty consistent quality and taste. I've been to locations in other cities that offer local specials but we just went off the main menu. Definitely recommend.“

“Been here twice now and I'm kicking myself for not having come to this spot earlier during my time living in Jamaica, NY. Both times they have been awesome. No frills, no pizazz.... For this place, you probably will not eat at the restaurant. Not really a sit-down place although they have some tables and chairs. Who cares. The dumpling are ABSOLUTELY amazing and fresh. Homemade! My favorite dumplings are the basil chicken dumplings. My wife really likes the shrimp dumplings (both fried). We had the sesame pancakes with beef and they are just heaven. Very good all around.

Order for pickup as it will take a bit since they make them on the spot. I will be including photos my next trip since I've been unable to avoid tearing into my food before taking photos.“

“Wonder has been one of our most consistent go-tos. Pickup is usually easy, the system works, the space is clean, and the food has honestly surprised me from day one. When they first opened, it felt like every order was dialed in, like the kitchen cared.

I’ve tried a ton of the menu and there are staples I keep coming back to: the salmon is always generously portioned and perfectly cooked, the sauces and capers are on point, and the broccolini is genuinely one of the best sides I’ve had anywhere - that char + acidity goes with everything. Even the simple stuff like fries and potatoes hit when they’re done right.

That’s why I’m leaving this review: lately I’ve had a stretch of 5-6 orders with small misses that didn’t used to happen - missing toppings, uneven pizzas, a pizza with a huge bubble, broccolini missing the lemon dressing, stuff like that. Not enough to stop ordering, but enough that it makes me stick to the “safe” items instead of exploring.

Still a big fan, still ordering regularly, just hoping the consistency snaps back to how it was because Wonder at its best is hard to beat.“

“The reason of my review is because I was really disappointed on thanksgiving day that I went to get a cake for my family.I buy cakes at this bakery every time of the year but for some reason the same size of the cake the same filling and just the decoration change the price was 50$ when usually and on the regular cost 35$ it was to much that day I leave the bakery so disappointed because I been getting it on valentines Easter and Halloween and my kids birthday with this review I’m trying to reach the management and get their attention to of what they did was wrong and no reason of doing that for the same size same filling of a cake“

“I went here when it was new and didn't find a lot to choose from (maybe they ran out already that time of day). Popped in recently since was in the area and there were a lot more buns/baked items to choose from. Prices are lower than some bakeries. Mochi donuts are $3; buy 2 get 1 free. Steamed buns were ok: tried the pork and veggie; and combo bun - with added quail egg, piece of sausage and shrimp.
Staff is helpful, and amiable.
Have tables/stools so good for a quick bite. No restroom.
Not far from Queens Boulevard so close to buses and Grand Ave/Newtown subway stop.“

“Come check out the Star Cafe! My cousin recently visited here and said his order was the "chef's kiss" - not to mention the ambiance and friendly service the staff provided! The price might be high but you definitely get your money's worth!
