“I’m addicted to eating these instant ramen noodles with the birria meat ?!! It was super delicious, noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was very savory, it also had a touch of spice to it, which made it even better ?‍?!I also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant it was very minimal and cute to eat alone or with friends. I met the owners of the restaurant and they were very kind and helpful when I came my first time ☺️“

“Located right in the center of busy Austin Street, this gem was a great choice for delicious and filling ramen at very affordable prices. Before you enter, you'll find yourself staring at the wooden, cozy storefront that screams "comfort food". To start off, we had the kara-age and takoyaki which were good with a drizzle of lemon. However, the main star was my kara miso ramen with pork, which had a hearty miso soup base with a dab of spice sauce. There are also non-pork options such as the seafood yaki bowl, which my friend had. Despite the full house on a friday evening, the service was great and very attentive. We left with a full stomach and a warm soul. Highly recommend :)“

I usually get a lucky cup sake as well. We love the takoyaki as well, but all their apps are great. The atmosphere is incredible. We love the going on a quiet, rainy day around lunch time.“

It wasn’t busy but there was only one server so it was slower but the server was friendly and attentive. The ramen is AMAZING! Highly HIGHLY recommend stopping in for the ramen, it will not disappoint. The fried chicken and octopus appetizers were good but in our minds we thought they’d be different.“

The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side, so it can get a bit crowded inside. However, it's bern worth it every time. The gyu don and the spicy miso ramen are personal favorites. “FOOD:The ramen I received was very tasty, the poached egg inside was amazing. The chicken was nice and the vegetables were good. There was corn, which I'm not a huge fan of, but overall good ramen. I also had dumplings, which were (of course) a huge upgrade from the packaged ones. To top it off, the lemonade was quite sour but tasted okay if you sipped a little at a time.INSIDE:It was very clean, no dirt at all and the tables and chairs were cleaned up. There were also cool things on the wall and a clean bathroom (that had funny jokes inside)OVERALL:Although it had some high prices, I really enjoyed this place, either if you never had Japanese food or if you did, this will be a nice idea for yourself and maybe even others. Totally recommended.“

The place looks a cool spot to hang with friends and family and super clean and helpful. I skimmed thru the menu quick and the Karaage Curry caught my eye since it was a curry dish !!! I must say the food was good! However, it was a big disappointment in which there was no curry ..? Just some sweet sauce drizzled on the chicken katsu. I was really looking forward to this dish/my dinner but the curry was a no show! Kindly can do better with this dish by actually adding the curry sauce!!“

“Food: we got tonkatsu ramen and some rolls— both great! The ramen broth was kind of creamy (in a bone brothy way) but very light. My favorite roll was the spicy salmon— it was so flavorful!!Service: this may be because we had an early dinner, but the staff was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and sweet— I think that’s what really took our experience to the next level!!Atmosphere: we sat outside with our dog (we called first and they were welcoming of her!!) and loved the individual booth style. I feel like it’s very rare that you have privacy when dining outdoors these days, and it was just the cherry on top. There’s about as much outdoor seating as there is indoors + I saw a private room/event space in the back of the restaurant! It’s such a convenient location near the waterfront. We will definitely be back :))“

“An awesome ramen going in Forest Hills. 100% better than kyuramen if you can get a spot. The Tako Wasabi was the real stuff and hits hard with a great Wasabi kick. You can taste that it isn't subpar quality. The takoyaki was delicious. My friends got the ramen which was super satisfying. My katsu don was also tasty, although the cutlet felt a tad bit soggy. For the amount of your Japanese staples and the very fresh cook on these dishes, I highly recommend tamashii red. It's popular for a reason so be ready to wait if you come at a busy time. I still highly recommend it - it feels like authentic tasty local Japanese food.“

“I didn’t realize that there were two DIFFERENT restaurants in the same building. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic. The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish! We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!“

I didn't want to say anything. I didn't want to get reimbursed because normally, this never happens. So I'm just giving a heads up to be more careful serving the food. I wish I had taken a photo of it but I did happen to find a hair in my soup. Just be more careful“
