“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! I could definitely see myself coming back here again, whether alone or with family or friends. Well done, Nippon Cha!“

“I came here for the first time and it was very good. The food was amazing and the customer service was phenomenal. Very delicious and filling meal. I came with a lot of family and they did a great job taking the orders and giving us an insight about what the food is. I would definitely come back because it’s a nice hangout and dinner place to go to even though we went on a rainy day. I really recommend this especially because as a Muslim it can be hard to find good food spots.“

The ramen here is delicious, rich , full of flavor and best part it taste homemade! The Korean fried chicken is definitely a must try and it has a great amount of heat to it both are 10/10 for sure.

The owner and servers are very nice, welcoming and helpful. If you’re unsure about what to order or need help ordering they’re happy to explain the menu and help you choose.

“My husband loves the spicy miso ramen here as well as the sesame mochi ice cream. I just ordered Gyudon today and added an extra egg. A very simple dish and tastes so good! Flavorful but not crazy salty! The beef was tender and the rice is of good quality!

We also had the black sesame cheesecake and some matcha pudding! Desserts are good and not sweet which I love!“

“This is a cute little japanese ramen restaurant near Manhasset LIRR station!

I got the spicy miso ramen and the tatsuta-age. The ramen was surprisingly not heavy at all and was on the blander side but I actually liked that a lot. The tatsuta-age was super crispy and tender! The sauce was really unique in a good way. The portions are also HUGE!“

“Food was all delicious, including classic ramen, hojicha ramen, eel rice, gyoza, hamachi and karage. Gyoza is interesting because it’s served with all the pieces connected by the thin sheet that forms when cooking. You can easily pull it apart. Place is small with only a few tables and clean simple modern decor. Service was fine but not friendly.“

“My favorite ramen in the area! Something about their broth is much tastier and flavorful than the other ramen places I've had in the area. Visited twice already and ordered delivery and the ramen consistently good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the bubble tea. I got the matcha milk tea and it didnt taste good. The pearls were very bland and too hard for my liking. Always get bubble tea at a designated bubble tea place 😆“

“Great service, the food is such a great value when you go for happy hour, but even normal price hand roll set is a good deal. Very tasty sashimi, my favorite were the salmon roll and yellowtail hand roll.
The cold sake was very good for the price.
Server was friendly and attentive.

Mostly people who work around here will come buy lunch that’s why sold out fast, bento sell 10 am-2:30 pm; others sell 10 am-9 pm. First of all, I have a gluten allergy so I’m always hesitant ordering out but the staff is knowledgeable and most of the menu is gluten free. The food is so fresh and good. “We came by (and had always wanted to since before they opened) for our wedding anniversary. We were a party of four (my husband, our son, daughter, and I), we were promptly seated in the back (they asked where we wanted to sit). Our waiter was very courteous and friendly. Our son ordered pork buns and scallion pancakes; they were very filling for him, and he enjoyed them very much. Our daughter got a bowl of chicken shoyu ramen, unfortunately it was too much for her - she enjoyed her noodle soup very much. Husband ordered pork gyoza and chicken yaki ramen, he was very delighted and it tasted great. I went with tonkotsu ramen. All the dishes were well portioned (for their price). Very clean establishment. Also liked the idea that thier sink is outside of the restroom, it is quite brilliant! We also liked thier curtain that were separating the dining area to the restroom. They were rabbit themed, including a mochi making rabbit in the moon. We anticipate our return!“

“Come check out the Star Cafe! My cousin recently visited here and said his order was the "chef's kiss" - not to mention the ambiance and friendly service the staff provided! The price might be high but you definitely get your money's worth!

“Lively. Plenty of seating and quick seating. Food is piping hot. Ramen broth not too salty. The chashu is well seared on both sides, a bit more seasoning to make up for the lighter broth. The touch of fatty minced pork adds more body to the broth and noodles. They did not skimp the noodles like many places.

The chicken karage was tasty, albeit a bit more oily than I expected. Still has the crunch though.“

“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The whole family works here and they are so nice and friendly. The dad who is the sushi chef has one of the fastest hands around. He just cranks the orders out like butter. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby....
