HASHI Ramen & Izakaya is a Japanese restaurant along Northern Blvd. It is a decent spot, described as a cozy little spot with a calm, quiet atmosphere. The menu is massive with many different options and plenty of food items, including seasonal specials like sukiyaki in winter. It is a go-to ramen spot for many, hitting all the marks for an authentic ramen experience. Dishes like the excellent tonkatsu ramen with deliciously charred and tender chashu, the Curry Udon, the Hashi Curry with a good kick, and the karaage are highlighted. The lunch special is very generous, offering a ramen, an onigiri, and gyoza for a reasonable price. Portion sizes are good and filling. The service is excellent, quick, and attentive, with staff described as nice and welcoming. The experience is enjoyable, with Japanese music adding to the ambiance. While there have been some notes of a dip in quality and occasional issues with delivery orders, dining in person is recommended. It feels like a Japanese equivalent of a traditional Chinese take-out place, with the exception of serving sake.
