“I patronized this place for the first time today and this was purely by happenstance. I was delighted with the service and the cleanliness of the place, it was refreshing to actually find a place that looked clean and served quality cold beverages. The majority of businesses in that general area, with similar products are of a lower quality, and just did not seem appealing to me, to finally find a place like this little nook was a relief! The servers are young and eager to deliver and very pleasant as well. This place is clean and offers quality food, and service and the prices are affordable too. Please give them a try.“

“Edit: Thank you for the reply. I visited the shop again on a Sunday afternoon and I was positively surprised by the rapidity of the service (less than 10 minutes wait). The drinks were very good and tasty too.
Good menu choice, however I have been here twice and both times I waited an unacceptable long time (40+ minutes) for a single simple drink. The pick up process is unstructured and unreliable. What's the point in waiting if you cannot even receive your drink. Strongly not recommended.“

“Love coming here for bubble tea! Some of the best I’ve had in lower Manhattan. Service is quick and friendly too. Only a couple of barstools for seating so it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter end but if you let them know to make it half sweet then they turn out perfect for me.“

“I got to know about this brand of pearl milk tea from the sharing of Taiwan YouTubers, I never thought I could enjoy it in New York. A Taiwanese friend of mine told me that she is a bubble tea lover. After trying it, I fell in love with it. 😍“

“Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk.“

“Miss home, so searched up solid taiwanese spot. The pan-fried dumping 鍋貼 ("guo-tie") was exactly how I needed it to be. The popcorn chicken was not as salty as I thought and had a thicker coating than the other ones I have tried in other restaurants. Overall, I was very happy to have visited.
Coming back for the dumplings again.“

“Clean and amazing food! The kids got taro bubble tea, strawberry mango smoothies. Both were so refreshing. We also got the Bahmi sandwich with marinated grilled pork. The sandwich was packed with flavor and bread was fresh. Overall a great place for a quick bite!“

“Second time stopping by, even more impressed than the first. I got the Rose Blossom the first time, and it was amazing, but oooh I love Star Girl. I got less sugar or 30% or something and it was perfect.
Never been much of a fruit tea girlie but my mind has been changed. Stopping by every time I’m in the neighborhood now.“

“A gem of a place, with phenomenal products - high quality, refined flavors, and no gimmicks. Have tried several of the teas and I'm excited to return. It's a small space, with limited but nice staff, and service is slightly slow but worth it. This place is not only worth a stop, but is also worth a special detour if you're in the area.“

“I came across this boba tea shop on a Thursday evening after a friend recommended. It had a few indoor seats so I was able to order my drinks and chat with friends for awhile. I ordered the classic bubble milk tea with 25% sugar and it was just sweet enough (but not too sweet)! This was honestly so yummy and the boba was super soft. It's one of the best bobas I've had in awhile in NYC and reminds me of the ones I've had in China. I honestly preferred this over Kung Fu tea which is right across the street. Not to mention, my drink was under $5 which is way more affordable than other tea shops. I was craving this so much that I had to come back the next day to try their popcorn chicken as well. To my surprise, their popcorn chicken is also delicious. It's has a crispy crunch and the chicken is tender and well seasoned. It also came with a spicy chili sauce on the side. Overall, I highly recommend to stop by for a quick drink and snack! Now I'm craving more boba!“

“I always go to the one in downtown Brooklyn but I believe they shut down so I went here.
The lady in the front was nice & I asked for cheese form but I don’t think she heard me so she gave a regular queen drink, mango & strawberry. She was pretty quick with the drink, around 5 minutes it took.
I definitely do recommend the cheese form drinks, mango & strawberry, with white pearls! Those are my fav.“

“Delicious bubble tea and they have tables & chairs to sit down :) We were in town, tired from walking all day, and craving bubble tea. Their boba is beautifully cooked and easy to chew. Lots of flavor and topping options and you can customize ice and sweetness. Bonus: dairy-free milk alternatives. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can order online ahead of time, at a kiosk, or with an actual person. We’ll be back!“

“Want tea around NYU campus? Sip perfection with customized drinks like Unforgivable and Chijito here at Chihiro Tea. Best tea in the neighborhood! Cute, cozy interior, though a bit cramped with students. Don't miss the NYU student discount. A must-visit oasis, especially in steamy summer!“

“It’s my first time trying that spot. It’s okay, but they have poor customer service. The lady serving seems unhappy, probably overwhelmed by the number of people ordering. The price is reasonable, so I might try another again when I go back“

“This is by far the BEST boba tea place in NYC, if not the country (I've tried quite a few up and down the east coast). In fact, I didn't think I liked boba until having Shiny Tea's tasty pearls. Their tea has so much flavor, so much depth. I highly recommend coming here, as often as you can, and trying as many combinations as possible. Passionfruit wenshan, pineapple black, and their winter melon oolong (or mint--both quite different from each other) are some of my favorites. Their milk teas are fantastic as well. Treat yourself!!!! :)“

“Lovely little spot. Went with a group of coworkers and had a great experience. They gave us some beef jerky because of the "wait" (there were a lot of us, service wasn't actually slow, that's just the reason he gave!) and because a coworker was interested in trying it earlier on. Super friendly, will go back the next time I'm in NYC.“

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“the best fresh fruit tea drinks in manhattan! i’ve tried their mango pomelo, seasonal persimmon drinks, peach berry slush, strawberry slush, cherry tea, and they’re all amazing. i think their seasonal drinks tend to be the most exceptional, so catch them while you can! Jooy always uses real fruit and that results in the best taste. their boba is just ok but generally quite chewy and well flavored. i also really like their coconut pudding topping!“

“What a wonderful gem in terms of love for the work and the product. Very small and manageable, you almost walk past, a good friend who lives on 71st Street took me "just there".They knew him there, he was a regular customer and so I was able to enjoy something that went far beyond a normal smoothie... just something really successful and tasty that I would want to order again at any time.Don't ask me what I got there... but it was great and I'm very sure that pretty much everything else you can get there is absolutely worth trying.“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends! Easily 5 stars and ABOVE! 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩“

“I was in NYC for 4 nights and went to the shop every day to drink it. It had a delicious strong tea flavor and lots of toppings. Reasonable prices compared to other milk tea shops in NYC, and better than places with high ratings. Highly recommend trying. The shop is located on the 2nd floor, slightly hidden.“

“Despite the rainy day today, I had an intense craving for winter melon, so I braved the rain and ran a block to the bubble tea spot. The drink was absolutely awesome, and I had a pleasant chat with the sales associate. They are genuinely nice people. To be honest, I was feeling a bit down, but that drink and the friendly conversation really lifted my spirits. Thank you!“

“We recently visited a self-service ramen station that also offers boba tea and desserts. Although we didn’t try the fresh bingsu or other sweets, the fruit looked fresh and tempting. The portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing. For ramen, there’s a variety of instant options, with our meal costing about $5 each, plus drinks totaling around $9 each. It’s a great spot for a quick meal, with plenty of seating in a spacious atmosphere!“

“Located close to Columbia University, this bubble tea chain is an ideal spot for university students to enjoy the drink. The servers are friendly whereas the place doesn't have much ambiance which is fine. I ended up with strawberry milk tea and mango popping bubbles. Initially I was curious to know how it would taste but to my surprise, it was great! I requested them to add less ice which they obliged!“
