“Wow, what a CUTE tea shop. I love tea, so I was so happy to finally visit this shop on my trip from CA. The shop is small but has plenty of seating. The vibe is quaint and elegant while still feeling welcoming and approachable—some high-quality tea places can sometimes be very snobbish which is a turn off.

Everything here feels so thoughtfully done, from the decor and music to the menu layout and the small traditional Taiwanese snacks served alongside the tea. There’s something for both a tea connoisseur or a tea curious beginner.

You can really tell how much love and care went into creating this space. The service was kind and welcoming as well. The staff Queenie and Nadira were fantastic. ✨🫶🏽✨

“I came into this shop for an oolong tea flight, and the whole experience felt very tranquil and special: the care with which she brewed and poured the tea, the explanations of the different cultivation methods for each tea, and the encouragement to slow down and really taste what we were drinking. I recommend others to come here for a peaceful escape in an otherwise busy part of the city.“

“Love love love the teas I got in January. I love my earl grey teas and got a couple of kinds, plus a Scottish toffee pu-erh tea that has become a favorite. Comfy environment for a pot of tea or grabbing a bag.“

“Julian, Khadiza, Orchid, Mikka, and the whole team here are so wonderful! Delicious matcha, great plant-based options, excellent pastries and amazing seasonal drinks. The service is fantastic and they make a point of getting to know their regulars, which makes it such a lovely way to start the day. We love having this place in the neighborhood. Highly recommend the earth glow, the strawberry matcha, and trying whatever the seasonal drink special is— I have yet to try one I didn’t love!“

“My hot matcha latte w unsweetened macadamia milk was creamy & mellow- really hit the spot. We sat on low stools & took in the atmosphere. The place was very inviting and cozy with lots of well thought out details that made the most out of their tiny space. Would go again.“

“Hard to find, I navigated to the cricket store next door. The gentleman here was so helpful with making recommendations and the teas are fairly priced. The atmosphere of the store was so fun I wish they did tea service here, but when we visited it was only open for retail.“

“This place has made the best cookie and brownie combination ever. I love getting brookies in Brooklyn Heights from Alice's Tea Cup to Go. Plus, I have been to Chapter I in Manhattan where they made a tasty salad and a delicious Alice's Croque Madame sandwich. Here's hoping we can all still support local business for Alice's Tea Cup whether it's still around in Brooklyn or Manhattan.“

I was transported back to the flagship location in Paris 👌🏿🙌🏿🇫🇷 This is hospitality ! He created a great experience for me and recommended items for brunch and to take home as gifts ! “Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“

“A cute cafe with beautiful pastries that taste just as good as they look. The pastries were both visually appealing and delicious.

The space inside isn’t very large, but there is seating available if you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee and dessert. A lovely spot to stop by for a sweet treat.“

“A few weeks ago, I had such a wonderful experience here for lunch with my two-year-old daughter and a friend who was visiting from Ireland. We had the pleasure of meeting Jessie, who could not have been nicer. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special by giving her a cookie, crayons, and a coloring book in a St. Regis bag.

We really enjoyed our lunch, but Jessie and the entire staff that day truly made our experience exceptional. It’s those little touches that make such a difference. We will definitely be back for lunch. 😊“

“Dress code does not exsist. Did not make a difference to our experience but it does take from the ambience of the place. Food was nice and drinks were good. Service 9 out of 10. A bit more attentive would add to making it a special occasion.“

“Amazing spot for chai, they have different varieties of chai. The doodh chai is a must try, all teas are sugarless and taste authentic. The seating is grounded and comfortable with quiet aesthetic, dark and well lit area. They also have many biscuit and samosa options which were all great taste wise.“
