“The cookie was in between crunchy and too soft(still slight crunch/softness). Delicious (didn't seem too sweet) and enjoyed eating the orange on top. It had a sort of dough texture(which is the middle circle) and is visible when bitten..“

“Love the pastries and cakes from this bakery. Top notch. Maybe better than dare I say anywhere else in NYC for croissants. Their cakes are gorgeous and they always try to accommodate. So happy it’s in this neighborhood, esp. for my cravings.“

“A wonderful indulgence on a balmy day or post Lincoln-Center show. They're cool about samples--which is good because all the flavors look and sound delicious and you'll be hard-pressed to land on just one. Convenient ordering pads greet you immediately upon the double-door entry. Seating is limited to five bar stools and a three-seat cafe table inside, so take your treat to one of the five outdoor tables. Or better yet, the steps or fountain at Lincoln Center, or Central Park 1.5 blocks away. The Alphonse mango was transcendent and my toddler loved the blood orange. The lime basil was a touch too tart for my liking, but sour fans might fall in love.“

“We stopped by here after strolling Central Park and got the mini eclair samples. It was a great way to try a bunch of different ones. There was original, pistachio, hazelnuts, caramel, dark chocolate, & passion fruit. The inside is a cute white and light blue themed atmosphere. Service was great. Will definitely be back for their original eclair!“

“I first had Ladurée in Paris, so when I got home and found that there were a couple shops in NYC, I knew where to go for my macaron fix. This location is small, but charming. If I'm in the area for a museum or shopping, I will stop by, especially to see what seasonal flavors are on the menu. They have a very tiny seating area off to the side (as well as some outdoor seating during nice weather) for afternoon tea. It's cute and cozy, but the staff is often very busy and since they accommodate both the counter as well as the seating area, service can sometimes be slow if there are a lot of people waiting. But, I'm so glad we have a local Ladurée...which reminds me, I'm craving macarons!“
