“Orchid Tea Cafe is the best place to have lunch or dinner with a small group of friends! My friend brought me to this place for dinner and it was so cozy and vibey. The owner is so sweet and the way she interacts with her customers and how regulars come in to chat with her shows how much she loves what she does and how passionate she is about her business. While eating me and my friends played one of the board games they had available and had such a nice time eating and chatting in the establishment. Would definitely come again!“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! “Poetica became my go to coffee shop for studying. The place feels so cozy and comfortable, honestly like home sometimes, and it helped me a lot during residency and board prep.

Nazeema is always so welcoming and kind with everyone. She remembers her customers, asks me about my daughter, work, and studies, and always serves amazing coffee with a smile. You can tell she really cares about people and gives attention to everyone.

I really wish I found this place earlier. I would honestly drive there every day to study, and I also love bringing my daughter there for brunch during weekends or school breaks.

“Found this Gem on our way back to Jersey and it was a lovely find. Had a great variety of Teas! But of course I had to have the Nutella Latte once I saw it on the menu. Had gluten free options which I really enjoyed! Overall it’s a small cute shop that had friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back ☕️“

“Came to this location a few times for drinks and they’ve been mostly pleasant besides the super long wait times, but that’s expected at most heyteas especially when it’s crowded. For July 4th there was a promotion where if you ordered 2 drinks you get a free magnet but apparently you’re supposed to order in person in order to get the free magnet which is really confusing especially since it wasn’t mentioned on the advertisement outside the store or even on the app… Also because ordering on the app always seems more convenient considering the wait times and the very little space in the store. Kiosks weren’t working at the time. There’s no seating or tables this is a grab and go heytea spot. Overall the drinks taste pretty high quality but definitely one of the boba spots I don’t come to regularly due to the wait time and price.“

“The owner was very friendly and was able to explain the different kinds of tea to me. I'll warn you that it's a bit of an eccentric place: you'll be asked to take off your shoes when you go downstairs, and you won't be allowed to take photos because "it's technology" (the reason I was given). His philosophy of tea is too new-agey for a coffee drinker like me, but I didn't mind that so much, really. I did appreciate the atmosphere. Once you step outside, you'll forget that you had just been on a city sidewalk within seconds. I saw some beautifully crafted clothing items and inquired about their purchase, but they aren't sold over the internet, which bums me out because I'd have to come back all the way to Brooklyn to buy them.“
