“Susan was such a welcoming and kind person to meet during our day in flushing. She treated me and my friend like we were family, and was incredibly knowledgeable about tea and the cultures surrounding it. While my friend spoke with her in Chinese, she would happily switch to English so I could fully understand what she was teaching, which truly made me feel appreciated. I wish I could give 10 stars, please support her business.“

“Really enjoyed this spot. They had a great tea set/ offerings. Pastries were good, service was great, tea was okay. I definitely recommend and will come again only reason I give it a 4 is because it was pretty average but definitely worth the price for what it was.“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! I could definitely see myself coming back here again, whether alone or with family or friends. Well done, Nippon Cha!“

“Bubble tea was delicious, ordering was a little confusing - I used the self-order screen but there was no one at the counter to complete the transaction.
It's a small store so I waited outside and walked around for ~10-15 minutes, went back in, and was finally attended to. Not sure why the other worker didn't help me out or give me any indication what was going on, pretty sure other customers that came after me got their drinks.
Kind of annoying but at least the Asian guy was attentive and competent and like I said the tea was delicious. I'd go back again.
Also, they charge a small fee for cards so bring some cash.“

“Food was all delicious, including classic ramen, hojicha ramen, eel rice, gyoza, hamachi and karage. Gyoza is interesting because it’s served with all the pieces connected by the thin sheet that forms when cooking. You can easily pull it apart. Place is small with only a few tables and clean simple modern decor. Service was fine but not friendly.“

“I’ve been coming to this location for over 5 years and I never decided to make a review. You are the only Mr wish I love going to out of all the locations. The drinks are always spot on. It’s a craving of mine all the time. My top two drinks are of course the Bubble Tea and The Apple Tea with Fresh Pulp. I go here so often the young man already knows my orders. They’re polite and very welcoming. We always enjoy coming here our whole family does. If it were up to me I’d be here every day it’s just so good and refreshing! We also recommend The Black Tiger Milk & The Peach Tea all these drinks in a large of course. The only thing I recommend from the Mr wish chain is to get into catering cause I’d have them for every event.

“Great tea spot in Little Neck. All the classic things you love about tea joints - the bubbles, the jelly, the tea options and the variety of lattes or fruity drinks if you don't want tea. Enjoyed my Lychee Oolong very much and I was able to adjust the ice and sweetness levels. Awesome place to chill as well. Open till 9pm daily.“

“A cute cafe with beautiful pastries that taste just as good as they look. The pastries were both visually appealing and delicious.

The space inside isn’t very large, but there is seating available if you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee and dessert. A lovely spot to stop by for a sweet treat.“

“Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“

I'll warn you that it's a bit of an eccentric place: you'll be asked to take off your shoes when you go downstairs, and you won't be allowed to take photos because "it's technology" (the reason I was given). His philosophy of tea is too new-agey for a coffee drinker like me, but I didn't mind that so much, really. I did appreciate the atmosphere. Once you step outside, you'll forget that you had just been on a city sidewalk within seconds. I saw some beautifully crafted clothing items and inquired about their purchase, but they aren't sold over the internet, which bums me out because I'd have to come back all the way to Brooklyn to buy them.“

“The Palm Court is a beautiful setting for a special occasion. The food was excellent, and the host, Gabriel, along with the assistant server and chef, were all wonderful. Unfortunately, the service at our table lacked the professionalism and courtesy we had hoped for.“
