Brooklyn High Low - Original Location is a lovely teahouse offering a great experience. The staff is really nice, super attentive, and unbelievably accommodating, especially with dietary restrictions and toddlers. The waitstaff is very sweet and gave out little charm necklaces. The heated patio is a great choice, even in February, with heated blankets for anyone extra cold. The garden is cozy with blankets and heaters. The decor is Victorian style, and the Pink Room provides ample space for groups. The tea is delicious, with lots of delicious tea options and excellent quality. The scones and tea sandwiches were great, and the food is surprisingly filling. The price is so reasonable, under $100 per person, making it one of the best values in NYC. The sandwiches and desserts rotate, offering variety and high quality. It is surprisingly kid friendly, and guests feel transported to another era.
