“One of the cleanest Chinese food spot in nyc. We ordered two noodles one lamb and one intestine to try. It was a very bold and adventurous move for us since they can get gamey and gross easily.

Fer executed two dishes perfectly. Clean and flavorful broth plus a plenty of proteins without the gaminess. The staffs were also very polite. Overall I give it 5/5“

“We’ve been going here regularly for a few years now, which is a testament to how much we like it all around! Baseline it’s of course delicious - but in addition, service is efficient, ambiance quite cozy and clean, and pricing very fair. As a cherry on top, they play a wide variety of music depending on which staff is “controlling the aux.” E.g., one day it was 80s/90s Kpop, then another acoustic covers of pop top 100. Keeps it interesting!“

“Saw a lot of unfriendly reviews, decided to leave one as someone born and raised in Northwest China. The noodles and buns so flavorful, meat is fresh and tender. The food here is soul food for me, bringing me back to my childhood. If anyone complaining it’s too spicy or oily, they’ve never had authentic Northwestern Chinese food before.“

“I came in during lunch time on the weekend and there was no wait. It was relatively empty with a couple other customers in the restaurant.

The restaurant was clean and had a decent atmosphere. The music was not overly loud.

I ordered the braised beef noodle soup with wide noodles and the food arrived quick. I was expecting the noodles to be wide like chow fun noodles but it was closer to the width of fresh pho noodles.

The meat was tender but some of the noodles clumped together, which made it less soft and bouncy of a texture. The broth was light with a mild kick. You can’t really go wrong with this for the price.“
