“I was craving some dumplings and I walked by Chairman Sun and saw their menu had just what I wanted!

The Pork Soup Dumplings were a 5/5. Full of flavor and the perfect texture. The soy sauce and flavor of the pork matched perfectly.

My Scallion Cucumber salad was a perfect flavor profile for me as a I love a garlic moment. The dressing was drinkable…and the cucumber cuts were hardy and a perfect fresh bite.

Lastly, the spring rolls, solid and great flavor.

I ordered two types of dumplings and buns, and after about 15 minutes, everything came out looking beautiful — and tasting just as good. Everything was fresh, juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

Not gonna lie, when we walked in, I wasn’t sure we should stay because the place was completely empty, and it looked like the only person there was the owner. But we decided to give it a chance, and I’m so glad we did.

“Amazing food! Some of the best I've had in the city, but they never answer their phone for you to place an order and have it ready. You always have to go there in person to place the order and have to wait. It's extremely frustrating. I still go though lol“

“I came in during lunch time on the weekend and there was no wait. It was relatively empty with a couple other customers in the restaurant.

The restaurant was clean and had a decent atmosphere. The music was not overly loud.

I ordered the braised beef noodle soup with wide noodles and the food arrived quick. I was expecting the noodles to be wide like chow fun noodles but it was closer to the width of fresh pho noodles.

The meat was tender but some of the noodles clumped together, which made it less soft and bouncy of a texture. The broth was light with a mild kick. You can’t really go wrong with this for the price.“

Chicken fried rice had lots of chicken and egg rolls were delicious.
Must be that different Chinese cultures have different versions of fried rice.
This rice has a high moisture content and the rice is yellow but it was still delicious.“
