“I am very selective about any fast food but, its always a vibe visiting this hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. When I call in my order Tina or her husband always remember the foods I like and it is always prepared fresh! When I go to pick up there are always folks from the neighborhood eating in house. Tina is super friendly and the food is always delicious. I recommend the chicken and broccoli with brown rice and brown sauce and for an extra kick they always have a side of hot oil you can drizzle across the meal. So delish! I give them 5 stars for great food, great service and great conversations!“

“This neighborhood, Sunnyside Queens, has a large Himalayan population and is loaded with really good Tibetan and Nepalese restaurants. As is Jackson Heights, a few subway stops down the street. I have been to many of them. So I was very surprised to find the best momo I have ever had at this counter-service carryout place in a small storefront. I got chili momo and vegetable tacos, both exceptional. Everything was prepared to order but made promptly. Service was friendly and efficient. I want to try everything they have.“

“The chicken wings they made were crispy and flavorful, the pork fried rice is also good, they gave enough pork in it. The service was efficient, though there was a brief wait for our food. Overall, a great spot for delicious, amazing place for eating Chinese food!“

“Every time I eat here, it takes me back to when I was growing up. They started as a rice roll cart on Grand Street, and they've perfectly preserved that authentic street-cart taste.
The steamed rice rolls with curry fish balls are soft, chewy, and perfectly sauced with hot sauce and extra peanut sauce. Grab an iced Hong Kong milk tea to go with it.
Highly recommend for a true taste of old-school Chinatown!“

“What a treasure! Everything we ate here was amazing, the lightest scallion pancake ever, the spiciest soft shell crab, tea smoked duck that was like the best Carolina barbecue ever. The bean curd with pepper oil. All of it. Cocktails were banging too. And the servers were all fantastic too. Even the ink was top shelf!“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“Great place to stop by for a bite to eat. Steamed buns are $4 for 8, $3 for 8 steamed dumplings. Can't beat these prices, and they make them all themselves. The food is always great. They have a variety of other soups and noodles as well. Two people can have an entire meal here for $15 easily. This place is usually frequented by the local Chinese residents. If you want a taste of what Chinese people in Chinatown are eating, check this place out.
UPDATE: note that the menu used to be huge, after COVID the menu was reduced significantly and now they tend to only stock their most popular items which are all still amazing“

“Small gem in Sugar Hill. Noodles were tasty and got the perfect mouth feel. Buddha dumplings were great. The shop is small but it does have an outside area as well. Recommend to do the online order so you can pop in and out and not wait because everything is freshly done.“

“Stopped by for dinner while in the NYU area and it feels like the kind of place that just fits the neighborhood.
Very casual setup, nothing fancy. A lot of students coming through, people eating solo or in small groups — pretty easy spot to drop into without thinking too much.
Food is more on the home-style side. Not overly heavy or overly seasoned, which actually makes it easier to come back to. Portions are decent, and prices are reasonable for this part of the city.
It’s not really a “destination” restaurant, but more of a reliable, everyday kind of place. If you’re around NYU, I can see this becoming part of a regular rotation.“

“We have been coming to Birds of a Feather for unbeatably delicious Sichuan food for years, and recently had our engagement party in the main room. We can't praise the event team, kitchen, and bar staff enough! The food was exceptional as always, and the service was wonderfully attentive and gracious. Plenty of options for vegetarian friends as well. Will continue to come back to Birds any time we want a perfect meal.“

“Insane drinks made by Bonnie (the Jasmine Fall and the Cherry Old Fashioned) the flavors were unlike anything else we’ve ever had. Will be dreaming about the Jasmine Fall. Same with the food - absolutely amazing dumplings. Also - drinks were buy one get one free because it was late night. Bonnie is the best - she was so helpful and kind when it came to helping us narrow down what we wanted!“

“We came for dinner on a Sunday after a show, the menu was a 7-course tasting menu with an optional 8th course and an optional wine pairing. We opted for the 8th course and my wife did the wine pairing, I got the Sour Plum cocktail which was fantastic. The price was on the low end for a Michelin starred restaurant, making this a comparatively more accessible option for fine dining. The staff was very bubbly and constantly executing elevated soft touches to make for a memorable experience. The dishes had such a vast array of flavors, my favorite was the plum duck but it’s tough to choose from so many strong contenders. There wasn’t a single “miss”. The wine pairing was a perfect complement to the courses, we’d highly recommend opting for it since that took this to the next level. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend Yingtao!

“Walked in for a quick luncheon on my day off. I was seated in the front section by Michelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the preps- different flavors and excellent presentation. Attentive and friendly service by Michelle was impeccable! A bit too loud neighboring tables, but food and service was decadent. Eclectic menu. Can’t wait to be back and try their other dishes. Ty Michelle for your suggestions. Shredded tofu & Ravioli are a win win‼️ Pyramid dessert is to kill for…😉😋😋😋❣️“

“Lychee ice was delicious and quite sweet, with a few real lychees in it. The braised lobster with scallions was a bit too salty. The osmanthus vermicelli and egg soup actually had a hint of osmanthus fragrance. The quality of their dishes is relatively consistent.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

“This was my first food stop in Chinatown, and hands down, it was the best hole-in-the-wall spot of my trip!
If you’re craving comforting, delicious Asian food, this place absolutely hits the spot. The dumpling prices blew my mind—they’re incredibly affordable, especially coming from the DMV where I usually pay an arm and a leg.
10/10, highly recommend!“

“Absolutely delicious! Arrived early and very fresh and hot! Piping hot right out of the bag and so tasty. The boneless ribs, honey wings and pork dumplings were fire!
