The restaurant is a bit tricky to find, you have to go downstairs but once you find it, the dumplings are incredibly authentic for such a great cost. I’ll be coming back soon!
Have been here a few times, most recently yesterday. The food is excellent (baos, steamed dumplings, fried dumplings) but I think a lot of the folks who come here do so as much for the “novelty” aspect (“we ate at this weird Chinese restaurant in the basement of an abandoned mall”), as for the food! I usually visit Chinatown by taking the B train to Grand Street, & to reach Fu Zhou Wei Zhong Wei Jia Xiang Feng Wei walk east on Grand Street to Forsyth Street...read full review
The steam buns were super juicy buns and delicious!! Did not need the extra sauce.
