Marathon Hong Kong Diner Reviews
Amazing portion size, staff were so nice. And the food was delicious — very authentic HK flavors with the milk tea, pork cutlet and fish balls. Will def recommend and come back again!!
I love this Hongkong style cafe! French toast is so good. And the pork cutlets rice is soooooo huge! I highly recommend.
The food was really good! I’ll definitely come back to this Hong Kong-style café.

Marathon Hong Kong Diner is a Hong Kong-style diner inside LIC Food Hall in Long Island City. The restaurant serves authentic HK flavors, and the staff is nice and friendly. The portions are generous and filling, and the prices are slightly higher but worth it. The Signature Crispy Pork Cutlet Rice is a favorite — the pork cutlet is crispy, tender, juicy and not dry, and the sauce is good, especially with the rice. The Black Pepper Beef Noodles/ Spaghetti has excellent, well-seasoned flavor and sauce with lots of pepper and onion slices. The Hong Kong Milk Tea is medium-strong and medium creamy, and the red bean ice drink is not too sweet. The pineapple bun with butter is okay, nothing special. The French toast is also worth trying. The design and packaging are creative, with full-size utensils, lots of seating, strong A/C and restrooms in the basement. It is a great spot for Hong Kong comfort food and nostalgic cha chaan teng taste in NYC without the trip to Chinatown.
