“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“First, the owners that run this place are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I ordered a noodle bowl with marinated tofu and veggies, it was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back soon, I got my eye on them baos..“

“This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. “I love Heytea and this place was great. This time I tried the brown sugar milk boba without the tea since I can’t have caffeine. It was really good. I think the milk was thicker than I expected. I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

The Chicken Katsu and my boyfriend had the Oxtail meal, so far the Chicken Katsu is one of my favorite meals (besides the oxtail empanadas lol) would recommend more people to try it and explore their other foods. “Really excellent bubble tea shop. Everything is super fresh and well crafted with good produce. I got the grapefruit tea with tapioca and there were actual slices of grapefruit, and the tapioca was the perfect texture. Definitely more expensive but worth it for the quality.“

“Trying not to be a gatekeeper is hard when the fruit and tea drinks are so good. So far Ive been getting their ginger teas, lattes, mochi and sesame drinks and they’re fresh non-powder even the persimmons and pear teas, healthy options. They make amazing batches of different filling egg waffle and I haven’t had good one in longest time.“

“Have been coming here pretty frequently the past couple of years and the bubble tea is the best in the area. The owners are extremely kind people and make you feel like you are valued as a customer. Tried Banh Mi here for the first time and it surpassed my expectations.“

“Bubble tea was delicious, ordering was a little confusing - I used the self-order screen but there was no one at the counter to complete the transaction.
It's a small store so I waited outside and walked around for ~10-15 minutes, went back in, and was finally attended to. Not sure why the other worker didn't help me out or give me any indication what was going on, pretty sure other customers that came after me got their drinks.
Kind of annoying but at least the Asian guy was attentive and competent and like I said the tea was delicious. I'd go back again.
Also, they charge a small fee for cards so bring some cash.“

“I was in the area after a yoga session and decided to get a matcha afterwards. I usually go to Haraz, but wanted to try something new. I got the Levitea matcha and Jeffery was so helpful in explaining the different drinks on the menu and really attentive to the quality of my drink. I will definitely be coming back in the future to try other drinks for sure.“

“Love coming here for bubble tea! Some of the best I’ve had in lower Manhattan. Service is quick and friendly too. Only a couple of barstools for seating so it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter end but if you let them know to make it half sweet then they turn out perfect for me.“

- Flavor: Fair selection available. I get Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. The tea has nice hints of bitterness. Texture-wise, more like a tea diluted with milk than the creaminess of an incorporated milk tea.
- Boba: Lower amount of Boba. Although the Boba has nice elasticity, they're too small so you can usually only chew once.
- Price: An average bubble tea (7$ overall, 2026) compared to what I consider the average price (7-8$)
- Overall - it takes the average up a notch for an overall nice bubble tea but doesn't have the kind of pull that would make me go out of my way to get one.

- Extra - They also serve ice cream and have an extended store area which would be fine for quick hangouts.“

“This is my wife’s favorite tea spot in the boroughs, and I do like it as well. We exclusively get the bamboo kiwi oolong tea (with tea jelly) and it hits the spot for a refreshing and unique fruit tea. What’s actually crazy tho is that I was there today and got us two teas (you know which kind) and they gave me like a gold seal Statue of Liberty cat. It’s actual gold, it came with a grading I’m not joking. I assume it’s for Lunar New Year, but like this store just gave me gold for free? That’s crazy. They need a second location, preferably in Brooklyn next to my apartment building

My Favorite is the strawberry Marcha with Coffee Jelly. I love that you can customize the sugar levels. Alsooo the fries! Is soooo good! I always bring my friends here for a treat.“

“i tried the mango milk and my gf had matcha milk. we also got nuggets, mozzi sticks, fries and i think my gf got a eel onigiri. i cant speak for the onigiri cause i didnt try it but all of the food was hot and crispy and honestly the nuggets gave better mcd nuggets. and it was all pretty affordable. we got all that for under 35$ if i remember correctly. the drinks were sweet and creamy but a good price for the size.“

“Waikiki in Saddle Brook is one of my favorite stops. The poke bowls taste fresh and well balanced, with generous portions and a lot of texture in every bite. My bowl is rich in flavor, perfectly glazed, and paired really well with the crunchy toppings and sauces.

The dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the wings came out hot and crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything felt fresh, quick, and well put together.

Definitely a great casual spot if you’re craving poke, dumplings, or just an easy comfort meal that still feels quality.
