“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. “I love Heytea and this place was great. This time I tried the brown sugar milk boba without the tea since I can’t have caffeine. It was really good. I think the milk was thicker than I expected. I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“This place is great and has amazing prices. Ever since I moved to Ridgewood from Arkansas it’s been really hard to find things that are good at a good price. “The other reviews already say everything, of if i could go beyond 5 stars. I had a cold and asked if they had hot tea. The lady offered to make me a hot lemon honey tea which wasnt even on the menu and asked me if i wanted it any sweeter after my first sip. I also ordered a mochi donut and it was the most delightful thing ive ever tried. Im a cheapskate, but those 4.25 were worth every penny. Super nice people and just a calm atmosphere, can only recommend!!!“

“Worker is very kind. Got the large 3Q milk tea and popcorn chicken, only $12. Generous with the popcorn chicken portion and it smells mad good. If you buy a drink, any choice of snack is $4.99 only. Super tasty, definitely check it out. Not expensive like the other boba shops in Chinatown.“

“Bubble tea was delicious, ordering was a little confusing - I used the self-order screen but there was no one at the counter to complete the transaction.
It's a small store so I waited outside and walked around for ~10-15 minutes, went back in, and was finally attended to. Not sure why the other worker didn't help me out or give me any indication what was going on, pretty sure other customers that came after me got their drinks.
Kind of annoying but at least the Asian guy was attentive and competent and like I said the tea was delicious. I'd go back again.
Also, they charge a small fee for cards so bring some cash.“

“Reviewed mainly for Bubble Tea :
- Flavor: Fair selection available. I get Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. The tea has nice hints of bitterness. Texture-wise, more like a tea diluted with milk than the creaminess of an incorporated milk tea.
- Boba: Lower amount of Boba. Although the Boba has nice elasticity, they're too small so you can usually only chew once.
- Price: An average bubble tea (7$ overall, 2026) compared to what I consider the average price (7-8$)
- Overall - it takes the average up a notch for an overall nice bubble tea but doesn't have the kind of pull that would make me go out of my way to get one.

- Extra - They also serve ice cream and have an extended store area which would be fine for quick hangouts.“

Extensive menu with plenty of fruit slush options (no milk), smoothies (with milk), bowls, or boba. I'd prob rec not getting the boba, since nyc is blessed with boba-specific spots lol

I just finished a workout, so I opted for their large Powerful Chia ($11), which had banana, mango, pineapple, and chia seed. I got almond milk, since they didn't have oat milk at the time. Price point was relative on par with other chains. You can add Orgain organic protein for +$1.

All ingredients are blended right in front of you, which is always great to see. Overall, would return to a Hawa!“

“i tried the mango milk and my gf had matcha milk. we also got nuggets, mozzi sticks, fries and i think my gf got a eel onigiri. i cant speak for the onigiri cause i didnt try it but all of the food was hot and crispy and honestly the nuggets gave better mcd nuggets. and it was all pretty affordable. we got all that for under 35$ if i remember correctly. the drinks were sweet and creamy but a good price for the size.“
