“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. Shout out to my guy Kenny great service and hospitality.“

I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“As a Taiwanese, the bubble tea here is quite authentic. I tried so many bubble tea shops in NY/NJ. N25 Nitro tea is the best one I ever had so far. I like the way how they cook the boba. The bobas are perfectly cooked—not too mushy, not too hard.“

“Trying not to be a gatekeeper is hard when the fruit and tea drinks are so good. So far Ive been getting their ginger teas, lattes, mochi and sesame drinks and they’re fresh non-powder even the persimmons and pear teas, healthy options. They make amazing batches of different filling egg waffle and I haven’t had good one in longest time.“

I got the Levitea matcha and Jeffery was so helpful in explaining the different drinks on the menu and really attentive to the quality of my drink. “This place was quite unique. Serving you a little drink before you order. They were so friendly, bubble drink with taro was so good and comforting. The only thing is that I found it was quite expensive and inside it seems that we're in some kinde factory.

“I bought ice cream from this place instead of a cake for my birthday, and I'm glad I did! INCREDIBLY delicious flavorful ice cream with a nice, stretchy texture alongside soft fresh toppings, and they make sure you get a good amount of them too! The milk teas are good too! A lot of boba tea places I've bought from put too much milk, and it completely overpowers the tea flavor, but not this place! I strongly recommend the Earl Grey Milk Tea; it tastes like Earl Grey tea mixed with melted choco-vanilla ice cream in the best way possible. My personal favorites are the Thai Moment ice cream, and The Honeydew Milk Tea! 10/10 sweet treats! <3“

“This is my wife’s favorite tea spot in the boroughs, and I do like it as well. We exclusively get the bamboo kiwi oolong tea (with tea jelly) and it hits the spot for a refreshing and unique fruit tea. What’s actually crazy tho is that I was there today and got us two teas (you know which kind) and they gave me like a gold seal Statue of Liberty cat. It’s actual gold, it came with a grading I’m not joking. I assume it’s for Lunar New Year, but like this store just gave me gold for free? That’s crazy. They need a second location, preferably in Brooklyn next to my apartment building

“Tried the juice bubble tea and fries- fries had a perfect crunch and the juices were a great blend of sweetness and chewiness. However, the spices on the fries felt a bit flat and lacked depth. Overall, a decent snack with bubble tea, but the seasoning could use some improvement. Place is small with a few seats, but i will say the price is perfect“

“Her boba has delicious coffee! My boyfriend and I come here all the time for a nice coffee treat ❤️ It is a small and cute cafe, and very relaxing. Definitely a gem of a coffee place for this area. “i tried the mango milk and my gf had matcha milk. we also got nuggets, mozzi sticks, fries and i think my gf got a eel onigiri. i cant speak for the onigiri cause i didnt try it but all of the food was hot and crispy and honestly the nuggets gave better mcd nuggets. and it was all pretty affordable. we got all that for under 35$ if i remember correctly. the drinks were sweet and creamy but a good price for the size.“

“Located in LIC, this location of I'Milky is right next to Court Square and a convenient stop for a small bite or quick drink. The inside of the shop is fairly small and probably can't fit more than ~5 people in there, so it's definitely a grab and go spot.

They have a deal here where you can get two onigiri and a drink starting from $15.95 (it gets more expensive if you get one of the premium onigiri or an expensive drink). When I went, I got their marinated pork and mala beef onigiri as well as their taro milk tea with purple rice. Their onigiri is a great deal and I loved them. It had flavorful meat, a great meat:rice ratio, and was a good size. Their drinks were good too. Would come back to try other drinks or get onigiri again~“

“Waikiki in Saddle Brook is one of my favorite stops. The poke bowls taste fresh and well balanced, with generous portions and a lot of texture in every bite. My bowl is rich in flavor, perfectly glazed, and paired really well with the crunchy toppings and sauces.

The dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the wings came out hot and crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything felt fresh, quick, and well put together.

Definitely a great casual spot if you’re craving poke, dumplings, or just an easy comfort meal that still feels quality.
