“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“Super cute shop with great branding. I got the taro milk and two onigiri as a combo. The taro milk is creamy and tastes like real taro, not the artificial purple powder kind, and it's not overly sweet. The onigiri are wrapped so the seaweed stays crisp until you pull the tab, and they're a perfect grab-and-go lunch. Staff were friendly, and there's a nice window seat and outdoor tables. Will be back for the taro milk!“

“great little spot for refreshing drinks and bites! i love that they’re also open late, for all the night owls and partygoers. they serve food after 5pm and we came for the drinks but stayed for the food. we tried a slushy and yakult and you can try one of their combos or make it yourself. for bites we tried the spicy peanut butter noodles (loved the sauce), salt and pepper fried chicken, sesame chicken with broccoli, and curry fries. the space is small and seats are limited so be prepared when coming to dine in.“

“I was in the fifth Avenue and bumped into this Boba tea/coffee shop.. it was morning and I wanted to have a fresh coffee. Went through the menu and wanted to try the tiramisu latte… great location very close to Empire State and other things.. The interiors was actually very good… it was huge and there were a few tables to sit and drink.. service was also good..

Pricing was OK.. was about 8 to 9 dollars for a latte, including tips.. slightly higher than regular coffee shops, but good for once in a while, flavored coffee.. tiramisu latte was actually very good.. He did put some small quantity of rum on it and it tasted so good… also tried taro boba and it was good . Looks like a Taiwan based coffee shop… it was surely different and refreshing.. good experience.. 4 stars ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I use to frequent Iddys but I haven’t been back in a while. Stopped by today and met the lover new owner! Service was amazing. The menu expanded so much and there are more savory options available now! We got to play a board game while our food was being prepared which was so much fun! Definitely going to come back more often to try the new menu options.

“I got what was maybe the best strawberry matcha ive had in the city- at least top 3. Sour strawberry, earthy matcha. I got it at 30% sweet and could have done even less. It was unfortunately almost $10 before tip, which is par for the course given the neighborhood. Giving it 5 stars anyways“

It's a small store so I waited outside and walked around for ~10-15 minutes, went back in, and was finally attended to. Not sure why the other worker didn't help me out or give me any indication what was going on, pretty sure other customers that came after me got their drinks.

- Flavor: Fair selection available. I get Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. The tea has nice hints of bitterness. Texture-wise, more like a tea diluted with milk than the creaminess of an incorporated milk tea.
- Boba: Lower amount of Boba. Although the Boba has nice elasticity, they're too small so you can usually only chew once.
- Price: An average bubble tea (7$ overall, 2026) compared to what I consider the average price (7-8$)
- Overall - it takes the average up a notch for an overall nice bubble tea but doesn't have the kind of pull that would make me go out of my way to get one.

- Extra - They also serve ice cream and have an extended store area which would be fine for quick hangouts.“
