“dirty place....the chef uses his bare hands to prepare and cook meals then denied multiple customers for food requests like 8pm like 🤦♀️..... they never clean while cooking or preparing instead they wait to clean up at 8pm ....gross only meal I was able to eat was a kibob salad because there meat is disgusting 😑“

“WOW my hubby and I stumbled on this cafe this cafe after our HBCU FUNDRAISER RIDE.. we had the medium latte and cappuccino and this amazing pistachio cheesecake. OMG YOU MUST STOP IN.. beautiful atmosphere.. before leaving ordered the tuna melt and an extra pistachio cheesecake . Peyton was patient with us.. he is so polite .. excellent service“

“Their food is always delicious but every time I ordered coffee it was disappointing. They charge for each pump of flavor but when you get the coffee it doesn't taste like there any flavor at all. Besides that, no complaints. Staff is nice and the music is good.“

“What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. Chicken noodle fills the bill any day with different pastas to satisfy your palate. Friendly service and just a great place to eat. Come and enjoy your meal, it will truly be worth it.!!!“

“My first time going there and the food was good. I got the fried mushroom platter with wild rice, chickpeas and salad. I felt good eating the food. It wasn't greasy or had me feel like crap while eating it. I'm from Philly and was visiting Newark for the weekend, but when I come back, I will be going there again. #vegan #blackowned #italisvital“

“First and foremost the people working here are SO incredibly nice. They are very sweet and attentive. I didn’t get a picture of it because I was just too hungry but I got the eggs, turkey bacon, home fries and toast. It was very good. They also have a buffet, and it looked pretty good too. “I like there sandwiches, especially there chicken sandwich. All there pastries are good too as long as you catch them fresh. Once in a while they taste like theyve been sitting there for a while so it's kind of stale and not as good. Someone else said that they pay a different price sometimes which I've had the same experience. I think it depends on who's at the counter when you're paying“

“La gente son muy buena and respetuoso. La comida es muy buena y dan buen cantidad por el precio. Basically what I said is that the food is really good especially for the price. Call ahead if you’re in a rush and they take care of your order midday weekday like in 20 minutes. I go here often for the popusas. They’re so good!“

“This is an excellent restaurant. If weather permits ask to be seated outside, the view, especially at night, is outstanding. We had the Filet Mignon and the Chilean Bass, both superb. Service was effective and professional. The place is expensive though.“
