“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Might be the best coffee in jersey city. Not all baristas are necessarily the same, but pretty much all of the ones I've had make my cortado perfectly, and they started remembering me and my order after just 2 or 3 visits. Also the children's play area, which is free to use, is great--my son loves it. This has become my go-to coffee shop.“

“So happy we have a Hidden Grounds in JC! Their chai is incredible, probably my favorite I've had anywhere in the JC/NYC area. Their pastries are so good and sometimes there are seasonal ones! My partner loves their coffee too. The staff are awesome and the space is nice. Their Bombay bagel sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich anywhere!“

“I've become a regular at Almost Home, and there's a reason I keep coming back.

Michelle and Ari are some of the kindest, most welcoming people you'll meet. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel like more than just a customer. They genuinely create a sense of community and make the space feel like home.

My go-to order is the cereal latte with oat milk (extra sweet) and they make it perfectly every single time. They're always happy to accommodate my preferences, and the consistency is amazing. I also highly recommend the food. Top tier! Ari is the baker and let me tell you...she can bake! There are always so many goodies to choose from. I like this one more than the one in downtown JC but don't tell anyone I said that.

Great coffee, great food, and even better people. If you're looking for a local cade with incredible service and a warm atmosphere Almost Home is your spot.

I have been here one billion times and I'll tell you exactly what you can expect: The nicest family ever greets you, they make you a high-quality coffee in less time than it takes for you to sit down (how are they so fast every single time?), you hang out on a beautiful patio with birds and people's dogs and comfy chairs.

“The Jersey City location of Wonder, has me in a chokehold. Karian made the entire atmosphere so welcoming, that from my experience working in food hospitality, her shod is the best shift. They communicated effectively and efficiently. They had fun while pushing out orders. I almost want to jump back there and help out just so I could feel like I was a part of the team and not a guest. Karian and BoH went above and beyond for my order, answering every question I had and even provided me tips on which is form of ordering is better. I love this place and the staff. Definitely recommend coming here often. LIME SALT is definitely giving chipotle a run for their money fresher ingredients, better flavors and, and portion sizes is already included in the ordering format. There is no denial of asking for more portions even if the ceo says that staff will do it upon request but your request gets denied. Burritos from lime salt comes in the og size of a chipotle burrito circa 2008. My salad came so full I wasn’t able to finish in one setting. Lime salt is better, chipotle never you heard!!! Thank y’all at Wonder for the love!!! Oh and if y’all who are reading this. Wonder is a Food hall with multiple restaurants underneath one roof they sell all types of foods, and desserts. You even have a small seating area if you’d like to enjoy your food there.“

“Really interesting and good selection of pastries. We tried the cinnabons, and one was cherry cinnamon, the other chocolate cinnamon caramel, and they were delicious. Eat with a fork kind of pastries, with the icing on top adding the sweetness, but not overwhelming. Except you might only eat half of one at a time. Other pastries in the case included croissants, like chocolate and guava, little breads, bread pudding, and a lot of donuts that looked fine, but not ultra appealing next to the rest of the stuff. The coffee section is also great. They care about the roasts and the origins, but don't do single origin smoothies. The iced flat white and americano were great. Thing is, it's a tiny little sliver in the wall. So, bright and nice, but no room. No good outdoor seating, either.“
