“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“My favorite local coffee shop! The Iced Mama Mia is my go-to order it’s so good and always hits the spot. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is cozy, and it’s become one of my favorite neighborhood spots.
My only wish is that they offered a few more pastry options because I’d love to have something to pair with my coffee.

“Cozy cool spot to hang out and really dig in to experimental coffee culture. You might expect this spot to be pretentious but, not at all. Warm, friendly, and seriously coffee focused with just enough munchies to justify more than one cup. A great find for coffee fiends and foodies alike.

The barister (coffee bar tender) took me on a beautiful adventure in a flight sampling of their cold brews. I've tasted coffee all over the US and a bit internationally and I've never tasted anything like this! (Apparently because I've never been to Japan) The Kyoto Japanese cold brew is a trip for your tastebuds. First a punch in the face then softly floral, herby, and a little funky with a sweet finish.

I had come for the masala chai which had been highly recommended and, let me tell you, I was not disappointed! DELICIOUS!

I was searching for breakfast when I walked in... and they do have muffins and pastries, but I opted for the City Hall roastbeef sandwich. Oh my was she a beauty! And yummy!

“We are here for the weekend and this place is u set our hotel with good reviews, so we tried it out. We just got coffee and danish but breakfast sandwiches look good, so going to try tomorrow. The banana bread ice latte was so good! Blueberry cheesecake danish was also yummy. Staff was friendly and cute place.“

“So happy we have a Hidden Grounds in JC! Their chai is incredible, probably my favorite I've had anywhere in the JC/NYC area. Their pastries are so good and sometimes there are seasonal ones! My partner loves their coffee too. The staff are awesome and the space is nice. Their Bombay bagel sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich anywhere!“

“This place is a neighborhood gem!!! The espresso here is on point, well prepared, roasty and full-bodied. Many delicious pastries prepared on site in this cozy shop located in a place that is the epitome of what corner stores once were in Jersey City. I have been here one billion times and I'll tell you exactly what you can expect: The nicest family ever greets you, they make you a high-quality coffee in less time than it takes for you to sit down (how are they so fast every single time?), you hang out on a beautiful patio with birds and people's dogs and comfy chairs.

I have ordered from them now at least 5 times in the past two weeks. I will continue to order from them. The food is really good. Avocado toast...banging. Pancakes...banging, pistachio latte...banging. Their breakfast meats are always cooked to the right temp. Bacon is never undercooked or overcooked. I could go on and on. “The New England Clam Chowder with crab added to it was TO DIE FOR….. Got a container at The Herald Square Market to eat when i got home and I was in Heaven with every bite! Fresh and creamy, awesome taste and the crab meat added just intensified the experience! I’m visiting New York from TN and it was one of my best meals so far! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

I’ve tried both the Wake Up Call and the Nutty Monkey, and they’re easily two of my favorites from the Espresso Shakes menu.

Both are blended perfectly, taste fresh, and give you a great energy boost. I also love that you can customize your smoothie with different options like your choice of yogurt, milk, and other add-ins to make it exactly how you like it.

“I’ve been an Alfalfa customer for years, and their food is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Today I realized after getting home that my free range roasted chicken (which I paid extra for) was missing from my salad. I called the store, and they were incredibly kind and immediately made me a new salad and even delivered it to me.

Mistakes happen, especially when a place gets busy, but what impressed me was how they handled it. Great food, amazing customer service, and I’ll definitely continue to be a loyal customer. Highly recommend!“

Must be a domestically made coffee. Wish they would use a true Italian espresso like Illy at the least. Other than that I'll be back.“

“The Jersey City location of Wonder, has me in a chokehold. Karian made the entire atmosphere so welcoming, that from my experience working in food hospitality, her shod is the best shift. They communicated effectively and efficiently. They had fun while pushing out orders. I almost want to jump back there and help out just so I could feel like I was a part of the team and not a guest. Karian and BoH went above and beyond for my order, answering every question I had and even provided me tips on which is form of ordering is better. I love this place and the staff. Definitely recommend coming here often. LIME SALT is definitely giving chipotle a run for their money fresher ingredients, better flavors and, and portion sizes is already included in the ordering format. There is no denial of asking for more portions even if the ceo says that staff will do it upon request but your request gets denied. Burritos from lime salt comes in the og size of a chipotle burrito circa 2008. My salad came so full I wasn’t able to finish in one setting. Lime salt is better, chipotle never you heard!!! Thank y’all at Wonder for the love!!! Oh and if y’all who are reading this. Wonder is a Food hall with multiple restaurants underneath one roof they sell all types of foods, and desserts. You even have a small seating area if you’d like to enjoy your food there.“

“I got an apple turnover by recommendation and it was delicious! My coffee was absolutely perfect, the espresso is truly balanced.
The entire cafe is covered in Palestinian flags and even a Lebanese flag, which is like a breath of fresh air. If I ever have enough time in the morning, 100% I am coming back here.“

Turkey BLT or Avocado toast are lunch must haves.
